Overall very good

On a rainy tuesday night, we were the only clients there, along with one other table. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Service speed was good, but it would have been difficult to justify slow or poor service with only a few patrons.
The food was very good overall. Entrees of foie gras, panaché salad and the daily potage...

The restaurant is also reviewed on Trip Advisor as Restaurant Sinclair, if you'd like additional input from others...same place. It's part of the St. Sulpice boutique hotel.

Deserves NO stars, Worst management

Tried it twice: bad & bad

I gave this place two chances. Went for dinner not long after it opened and left quite disappointed. Nothing special about the food plus there was no atmosphere.

It was stupendously underwhelming. I ordered the Canadian Breakfast which was described as Two eggs, Bacon, Sausages, Quebec Pate and Potatoes. There was no pate and only one sausage.
The cold Continental breakfast was lacking as well. If you are staying at the hotel find someplace else to eat!

not worth the detour
24 janvier 2013A promising menu but the execution is lacking. The restaurant tries to be like a five star with the offer of an amuse bouche and a mignardise but these fall very short of the mark. A very cordial evening
17 août 2012The Terrasse is particularly nice in a summer evening. The food was very good but I would have liked more choice on the menu. The tenderloin was really good. Service was excellent - friendly, professional but not intrusive. My first time and I will try it again.

What a great Châteaubriand
11 août 2012Share this great dish with my wife. Beef was perfectly cooked, sauce was great and sides were simple and tasty. Fans of tenderloin, you must check it out !!! In the heart of Old-Montreal, well located. Staff was very professional. The terrasse is beautiful.

Enjoyed oysters and new lobster roll

Fabulous Cuisine Francais
20 mai 2012We decided to try Sinclair in Old Montreal and what a fabulous find it was. The food is inventive and absolutely fantastic. The pickled clams were amazing and the trout melted in my mouth. It was an amazing experience.
