Overrated
Small portions, arrogant service. Once, our party got 'bumped' (our reservation was cancelled by them) because they got a reservation from a larger and more lucrative group (of physicians).

In an affluent suburb with tree-lined streets, palatial homes, tennis, golf, and a yacht club, this inn fits right in with its clapboards, columns, and antiques. Some bedrooms have fireplaces and one suite has a whirlpool bath. Extremely disappointed for many reasons
August 26, 2014Shadow Lawn Inn has the potential to be a wonderful place, unfortunately the customer service was some of the worst we've ever experienced. The inn itself is old, but well maintained, and there's no denying that the food they serve is wonderful. The room was huge, the meal was delicious and the staff were very friendly. My wife and I stayed here in celebration of our anniversary and I would highly recommend their anniversary package. We will definitely stay again.
There is no pool or fitness centre so disregard that rating in my review...

Loved every minute

For fine dining in KV, this is the place to go

Well worth the price

Stayed three nights in spring 2013. Room was huge, comfortable, quite and had a sizable ensuite bathroom. There is a relaxing lounge below with a bar. The hosts are excellent, very helpful and friendly. Additionally, the restaurant is high quality.
I also recommend the Inn for hosting events. They were able to accommodate 60+ of us without issue.

What a fabulous meal
January 16, 2014This Inn continues to be a jewel in the Maritimes and they have hired a superlative chef to make the experience more delectable and one that will bring us back for dining alone. We stayed with our daughter at the Shadow Lawn Inn for four nights and it was fantastic.
The staff continually went above and beyond our expectations. The owners, Jamie and Ann-Marie, are very friendly and welcoming. The kitchen staff made whatever our daughter wanted and brought it right to our room. The service was very attentive, the rooms are beautiful...

September 21, 2013My husband and I stayed for the evening in the beautiful honeymoon suite, we were impressed by the comfortable bed, huge jacuzzi tub and tasteful decor. Andrew and the staff at this quiet retreat take VERY good people that discover this treat, and come back.
