Very taste tapas. Kind of pricey and not for everyone as dishes are small and meant to be shared .Estrella tall cans available to.
This place was amazing! Fantastic food, beautiful atmosphere, great service. Definitely a hipster / more intimate vibe. When we first arrived I was a little bummed because the only spots open were the chef's table and it was so hot. Turned out to be a great spot though because you get to see them prepare each dish! Loved the fried cauliflower in particular - another great foodie place.
Food was delicious. Prawns were perfect, not overdone. Loved the flank steak with the peppers. Had the mustang fastback cocktail and it was very refreshing.
My only complaint was the server forgot to order one of our dishes and seamed like an after thought then. It was the tomato toast and it came out after the warm dishes. We asked about it and she said it was coming, but it seemed so out of...

First night in Winnipeg, had to wait 20-30 min at 7 on a Monday.. and it was worth it! The food was phenomenal. Tapas sizes easy for sharing. Spicy venison tartare was so delicious, lamb was so tender, the atmosphere was inviting, trendy and their tuna was just so soft, delicious with a great addition with pineapple. Would go again in a heartbeat.... plus adorable bartender girl :)
Meh. Pretentious. Dishes are just fine, nothing to write home about. A bit on the pricey side. Decor wise, there's a couple of interesting pieces here and there but not that impressive overall.
my boyfriend and I always look forward to our next visit!!! A must try. Amazing selections every time
We popped in for a nice bite and a cocktail. We are greeted by a friendly hostess who told us it would be about 20 minutes until we would be seated. We could leave our number and she would call us if we wanted to have a drink close by. We didn't even make the corner when we got a call. We had 5 great Tapas and a couple of drinks. Great food, great people, great atmosphere. You can't go wrong here
Enjoyed both visits! Food done well with interesting twists. Wine selection was fine and we were able to fine a good wine at the right price. Will visit again!
It's a fave of Winnipeg. Artful food, maybe a smidgen on the $$$ side, but filling & nice tastes.
I enjoyed the outdoor seating a lot (despite a few mosquitos).
I'd go back if I lived here
The food was perfectly cooked but other issues abound.
While the meat was extremely tender and juicy, the flavoring wasn't quite up to par. Most of the flavors ranged from weird to unimpressive. One dish, the duck confit empenada tasted sour and musty - kind of what I imagine a sock to taste like. Other dishes were okay, but unexciting, involving little more than a layer of balsamic vinegar...

this place has a very chic ambiance
the food was a little overpriced, good but nothing extraordinary
i don't recommend going here when you are really really hungry lol
If you can get in, it is a great experience, however as they do not take reservations, more often than not, we have not. Last month, we were told that we would have to wait for 45 minutes, despite the fact that I counted 3 empty tables. They also suggested that we go to a nearby pub for drinks and... more
I love the idea of tapas for dinner and this place does it perfectly. They have tasty dishes and they're presented well at a decent price. I'll certainly be back again and again for more tasty treats!
The service could have been better, we waited forever to get our drinks and have someone take our order but the waiting is...

I have eaten out A LOT. From the finest restaurants to the greasiest dives in several countries... I am SO thankful Segovia is here at home.
Adam's palate and intuition is second to none, his sous's are exceptionally adept at assembling his creations (and lending their own twists I'm sure), his serving staff are simply the best... the restaurant is...

Segovia changes their menu frequently, but it is always good. Tonight we had the patatas bravas (which is one of the few things that are always on the menu) a fiddlehead special, the roasted cauliflower salad, whipped feta and crackers, barbecue chicken thighs, tortilla espanola and fried brussel sprouts. For dessert, we had the olive oil cake with Mexican ice... more
Lovely, surprising little spot in Winterpeg!
To expound...
Great, innovative small plate offerings, attentive service, hip/cool meets cozy/casual, with a solid wine list. Win!
Didn't experience any wait due to our arrival time - it was certainly past dinner hour when we arrived - and while we didn't break the cardinal rule of ordering 10 minutes before the kitchen closed, we were still...

My husband and I sat at the bar overlooking the food prep because it was otherwise a 1.5 hour wait--It was fun to watch them make the food! We had some sort of potato fries which were excellent (how can you go wrong with potatos), the fried cod (which was ok, 3/5), Carpaccio very good, brussel sprouts (only ok, 3/5),... more
If you are looking to impress a date, take them here, but make sure you've got a full wallet. It's a little intimidatingly hip-fancy at first, but the waiters are all really sweet and helpful, not to mention cute!
We got a little tipsy on some pink Cava (spanish champagne, basically) which was pretty swell in and of itself. I lost track of all the dishes we sampled, but they were all nice. I...

This is a great little place, we waited an 1 1/2 to get into this place since the waiting list was so large but let me tell you for a nice Saturday romantic dinner it is worth the wait. We had a serve named Andrew he knew the menu very well and the specials of the day and was a... more
I haven't even finished my meal, pulled pork taco, corned lamb tongue and I already know this is the best meal I have had in, at the very least, a year. After a 1/2 hour wait on Friday night we got in to both great food we shared 4 plates and great service, it's not cheap but it was all good. In the end the group of us enjoyed the time together. It was a little noisy this time, and as pointed put it is pricy We will make it back another day
Food, service, and ambiance are sublime - and a uniquely memorable dining experience for Winnipeg. Highly recommended.
I LOVE segovia. Each time we go the only words out of our mouths is "mmmm, this is so good."
Their cheese boards are a must, as is their tomato bread.
Although I do really miss the chocolate torte with cardamom ice cream and the churros with dipping chocolate, please bring these back. The current desserts are only ok.
As could be inferred from the constant 1-2 hour wait to get a table during dinner any day of the week, this place is fabulous! Luckily enough for us, it was nearing 10 o'clock when we ventured out into the frigid streets to find a bite to eat, so getting a table was no trouble at all.
The atmosphere in Segovia is warm and cozy; it really makes this restaurant the perfect destination for...

In Winnipeg for a business/personal trip and my wife and I were looking for a beer and snack place and ended up here instead. The food was incredibly good. The food is varied and delicious, the service delightful and the atmosphere friendly and upbeat. We had the lamb, rabbit, scallops and calamari dishes. A wonderful place. The servings are perfect for sharing, and there are no unneeded/unwanted sides. The food is unique with a Spanish flair. We get the patatas bravas repeatedly (they are addictive! No reservations for this delightful Tapas restaurant, and nobody there before 5. At 5, there is always a crowd, which says something; and they're right. Excellent food in a delightful surrounding. Great food and atmosphere. Staff were great. We had to head down the road for a drink while we waited for a table as the restaurant does not take bookings. It was noisey but the food made up for the noise.
We had an amazing time at Segovia. This is on restaurant that really has things together. The menu is small but enticing. I have traveled to WInnipeg twice for 10-day work assignments and made sure to make it here both trips. The tapas are incredible, the drinks are great and the live music is fantastic. It's pricey but worth it.
Great place to share a selection of small plates with friends and family. The front of house is very knowledgeable about the food, and very helpful when it comes to food and wine pairing. I can walk here to meet my friends it is a great place always has a very nice cozy feel to it. My friends love meeting here food is always good so is the service never have to wait. Great place to be
I don't really see why everyone's raving about this place. It is pretentious, decor not that great past the receiving area, and the food is something that I can make at home, small portions (have a snack at home), and pricey too. Segovia never disappoints, unless you are looking for a repeat on a fave menu item. They change their menu seasonally to keep things interesting and it is always fantastic. It's a different experience, about small plates, sharing and food adventure. Fun evening with friends!
Really good food and really good service. The only reason I'm not giving it a five is because of value. The food is well cooked, very fresh and highly creative, but you pay through the nose.

Tapas are ideal for sharing. The variety was great, though after 3 or 4 visits, a menu change would be welcome. Still, tapas are a refreshing twist on a night out for dinner. Seating is best for groups up to 6 only. No reservations is the only downside.
I love the concept of a Tapas bar and while I have been to a few this is the first one that pulls it off. All aspects of our dinner were wonderful; food, service and atmosphere. Generally, the restaurant delivers what is read in the reviews and if money were no object - voila - no worries.
