The room was clean, but the beds were like rocks---very hard matthresses and couldn't sleep well because of it. I might as well have laid on the floor! Upon checking in the TV wasn't working and when I called the front desk to have them come take a look at it, the clerk said it 'might take awhile'...we continued to play with the tv til we figured it out ourselves...she never showed up at all.... more
La chambre très propre. Le petit déjeuner très pratique et rapide. J'aimerais toutefois que l'ouverture du petit déjeuner soit devancé d'une demie heure soit à 7 hres et non à 7hres 30.... more
Had some mold in our room and the $300 deposit was unexpected when we checked in. Continental breakfast was wonderful and the staff were helpful. Would stay again despite the few negatives.
they said they had no reservation when we arrived but they would fit us in. the room and furnishings were from the 1960s. The blinds did not close, the tv was as old as me . It was a good thing we did not spend too much time in room.
We stayed in the honeymoon suite. When we were pulling up to the hotel, I wasn't impressed, us we usually stay in hotels, not motels. But once the room passed inspection with my wife I knew it would be ok. Once in the room I was impressed it was roomy clean and really quite nice it had been renovated, so it was not dated. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. The free breakfast was... more
Loved this motel and great value for the money! Centrally located and near the most beautiful beach! The kids loved the indoor pool on that one day we didn't get to the beach. The hot breakfast was included too. Our room was really clean and the staff went out of their to make sure we got the room we wanted.... more
A couple of years back, my boyfriend and I stayed at this motel. We went for one night and packed to leave early the next morning. The hotel was clean and simple. However, the customer service was awful and we were treated terribly. I received a phone call from the lady at reception who stated that we were being charged... more
Breakfasts were underwhelming in the very crowded breakfast room. Go to Martha's restaurant across the street for a nice full breakfast.
Outdated accommodations, Way over priced! Unfortunately I've had much better hotel experiences for a much lower price!
Jets in tub didn't work, lamp by bed didn't work. Only light was in the corner of the room. Sink separate from rest of bathroom, ew.. Never again.
We were frustrated after finding everything sold out in Moncton, but when we arrived we were told our room was next to late-night partiers, and it would cost an extra $10 for a room we could sleep in. What hotel allows guests to disturb other guests at all odd hours of the night? Or were they jerking our chain trying... more
Stayed last night for one night. Simple, dated but comfortable motel. Aircon in the rooms was good but could have done with another fan to move the air around. The beds were extremely comfortable and it was very clean and well kept, just dated. We didnt use the pool but were glad we had the option to do so -... more
We just spent the weekend in Shediac and stayed here. The rooms were very clean but dated. My sons loved the pool and I thought the sun deck was an awesome idea. I had to use the guest laundry and the laundry soap was free. Staff was very helpful and friendly and the choices were great for breakfast, though the... more
had a great weekend, clean and very nice staff, will stay again we had a big group and they all had great rooms, clean no problem, the staff makes sure breakfast was well stock and everyone had what they needed, very happy with the service
Friendly staff. Room was large, comfortable and quiet, breakfast was good, fruit salad was something we had not found even at more expensive properties. We would definitely stay again!Barbeques available. A good location for exploring the Acadian trail.
Nice location close to the beach. Friendly staff, we stayed several days to take advantage of the beach. Great weather during our stay and took our free breakfast outside to the picnic\ BBQ area after the first morning. Very convienent considering we were traveling with children and a pet. Staff was helpful with suggesting several things to see & do... more
I really loved it here. I got upgraded to a room that four people could stay in, even though I was by myself. The place has everything you could dream of. I loved soaking in the jacuzzi. The furniture was nice. The place was very clean. There's an indoor pool with salt water.
The person on the desk told me...

We just stayed for three nights and really relied on the reviews here. The reception was welcoming. There were a couple of issues with the room and they were right on it with a smile! Breakfast consisted of breads, cereals, fruit, coffee and tea was ample.
Rooms were basic and clean and large. The location is great- easy highway access,...

My extended family and I (8 people, including a child) stayed at Seelys for 2 nights the long weekend in August. This is our second year returning and we loved it. I want to start by saying that right from the get go, Karen, one of the employees at seelys was beyond helpful and very kind in assisting me as... more
We had a great long weekend at Seeley's Motel in Shediac. The rooms were slightly dated but clean and a great size. The pool was perfect for my 10 year old son. For the adults the area around the pool was a bit too warm for our liking, felt like we wanted some fresh air. The location is wonderful and... more
My wife and I stayed at Seeley's Motel in Shediac,N.B. for 2 nights-16-17,/07/2013 and were totally satisfied for the following reasons:
-the rooms were clean and the mattress comfortable .
-our small suite had an excellent air conditioner
-the staff were friendly and helpful
-I didn't feel well and changed our initial reservation from 3 to 2 nights. Management gave...

My husband and I and our two children, a toddler and 10 year old stayed here for two nights (July, 2013). We were initially going to camp, but being tired and business owner's ourselves, we decided to pay for a hotel hoping that we could have some of the...

Room was clean and pleasant. Friendly and helpful owner. Be sure to bargain a little, though. We were originally quoted a price of $95 but this was quickly lowered to $75 when we said that we were going to go across the road to check the motel next door. Would stay here again.
In September 2012 our company held a four day event at Seely's Motel and the management and staff went out of their way to make it outstanding! The rooms were comfortable and clean and our guests from all across Canada were pleased.
Our needs were hotel rooms, the banquet room (with audio equipment) and the outdoor patio. Seely's handled our...

We arrived late at night and were greeted by a very nice older gentleman who seemed to have been in this business a long time. We asked for just a basic room for my husband & our 2 children as we did not need anything special as we were leaving early in the morning to visit family in Souris PEI... more
I have read some of the other reviews and rebuttals by management and I am amazed. We stayed there for two nights (no other accommodations available in town) and never even turned down the sheets. The bathroom was very dirty, there was soap scum on the shower handle, there was garbage on top of the TV stand, there was crumbs... more
The door on our room had a malfunctioning lock. My kids 11 and 14 ended up stuck inside for 30 or 40 minutes. The front desk worker was unable to open the door and had to call owner. Luckily she was familiar with the problem lock and opened within minutes after she arrived. If my kids were younger this would have made for a very scary situation or if they had been locked outside it would have... more
We stayed here without a reservation while passing through Shediac. Our stay was comfortable and clean. No major deterrents to speak of. The room was very large. Although the motel is older (mid-century perhaps?) it has been fully updated. The outside has been manicured and moderized, and the rooms have new furniture. A pleasant, standard stay.
First of all we booked for Sept 1st AND Sept 2nd. Upon arriving we were told that only 1 night had been reserved and that our room was already booked to someone else for the second night. So first off I was not impressed. I was told that I could speak to the manager when she arrived... Oh boy this... more
The staff were very friendly. The pool was nice and the continental breakfast was good. The room was adequate but would have liked to see it without a carpet. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.
This motel was terrible. The floor was so dirty that my kids legs and feet were black. There was no soap in the shower. The "continental breakfast" was only serving toasts made with a toaster that doesn't toast on each side. We paid 140$ for this motel and this was the biggest mistake I've ever made for a place to... more
Drab appearing motel that was not too close to the hwy. Toilet/shower and wash basin were separate and far away from each other. Shower curtain smelled of mildew, and needed cleaning. Continental breakfast area was in the reception lobby and had inadequate seating. The breakfast itself was just toast, English muffins, coffee and some cold cereal. It was obviously overpriced for the value. On... more
Very clean, friendly , centrally-located Property. Walk to Tim's or MacDonalds for an early coffee......unless you can wait until 7:30 AM for a great breakfast.
Not surprised they were fully-booked. Will return!
We stayed at Seely's Motel on a three day family vacation. Great location - walk to nearby restaurants, The rooms were clean and spacious - two double beds and a pull out couch, chair and coffee table. Each room has a fridge and microwave; handy for families, especially if you're staying several days. I was most disappointed in the continental... more
We have spent at least one night the last 5 summers at the Seely Motel in Shediac. It has drive up rooms which we find a plus with so much luggage, it has a great salt water pool for days when its rainy and you can't go to the beach and its only minutes away from Parlee Beach. The staff... more
Very clean standard motel. Nothing fancy, but nice reception and very courteous staff. Nothing wrong for the price.
This is your classic roadside motel. Dated but comfortable enough and very clean. The mattresses and pillows are in serious need of replacing. Don't be fooled by the whirlpool bath. They charge a higher rate for a room with a whirlpool bath which ends up being a one unit shower with jets in the tub portion. Since the until is... more
