This hotel was part of our tour accommodation and found nothing wrong as well as nothing excellent considering our stay was short we were tired. I just observed that there was a train station and a river and a bridge nearby. The room and toilets were OK and we had a very sound sleep.

love the proximity to the Metro making downtown Montreal easily accessible. It was easy to access by car when driving in from Ontario...no Montreal city driving at all and the hotel is just off the highway.

The room was reserved as a executive SMOKING room and confirmed. When we arrived the room was a normal room and it was non smoking. Was not happy about that. It was confirmed. Will not use this line of hotels again.

This was a nice and lovely hotel. Although we stayed only one night, i loved this hotel. The train stn is just next to it and it makes you travel anywhere without knowing French. In the morning we had to leave early, and the breakfast at the nearby macdonalds helped.

Check in was long process, room was right by elevator which meant lots of noise. Room was tired looking and internet did not work. Front of building is being sandblasted and no protection for clients coming and going. Sandman Hotel Montreal - great place to stay!

There were 4 things my family loved about this hotel and we are calling them the 4 P's. Parking - very convenient and included in hotel rate. We could see our car from our room and it seemed very safe. Proximity - the Metro station was right across the street. Pool - they have a nice pool which my 4 and 6 year olds loved. Price - it was a fair price.

Overall, I thought that the Sandman Hotel in Longueuil was a decent place to crash for a weekend. I would compare it to a "no-frills" chain such as Comfort Inn or Travelodge: not a fancy place, but good enough to get a good night's sleep and take a shower.

Was a nice place to stay and the staff were great, however it may like a bit of 'doing up'. The bed was pretty lumpy & the pillows odd shapes. A bit of paint & new beds/linen would go a long way. Also noise from hallways got a little annoying in early morning. Car parking area was a great asset.

Decent location. Very close to subway. Good place to go if you dont care for many amenities like room service or a place to get food onsite after 930pm. The wifi signal in the room is extremely weak nearly unusable.next to the interstate so no great voews, but like I said.if you need a fairly decent hotel in montreal I guess this place will work.

Good hotel and location

Spent a couple days here visiting the city and the hotel is across the street from the subway station m aking all of Montreal within reach. Free parking was a bonus and in a controlled lot so your vehicle was somewhat secure. Front desk staff were great and very organized, the room was somewhat worn but very comfortable and clean. Would stay here again in an instant next time i visit the city

The hotel is a very convenient alternative to being in Montreal. The location is great, right next to the Metro.The only down side to the hotel, was the road access was a bit hard because of all the turns and construction. But, you cant fault the hotel for that!

This used to be a Radisson; now it belongs to Canada's Sandman chain. Because it is on the South Shore, across the river from Montreal, there was typically a nice price break. Great Place to Stay in Longueuil

Great hotel in almost all ways. I truly recommend this hotel. Only one thing that you might need to stay away from in the hotel is the "telephone" because you might regret that you use it if you call any number other than numbers with the same area code as the hotel's. Other than that, everything is great.

Easy Location

We spent a very cold New Year's week-end in Montreal at the Sandman. The hotel's location next to the Metro station made commuting into the city easy. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great and convenient location

Traveled for a little site seeing and for the U2 concert, the hotel was perfectly situated in front of the Metro and its parking was free. The service was great and friendly and the rooms are great for the price.

The rooms weren't super modern and the beds were awful. My back hurt the next day. The people were nice and the view was ok, but the AC wasn't very strong and there wasn't anything particularly great about the room. The location to the Metro can't be beat, but really sleep is the key and I just didn't get a good night of it. And the wifi was craaaap.

Senior Citizens Journey

Our family of 5 senior citizens had a memorable journey in Canada! It was the best because we stayed at hotels like the Sandman with great accommodations for the price, easy access to the Metro, great hostess in the bar and restaurant, and most importantly, the staff at the desk was excellent in tourist information and guiding us along. Hotel needs a renovation

This hotel can definitely use some renovation. The lobby looked dated with broken tiles on the floor and dirty grouts. The front desk was under-staffed. The carpet in the hallway was loose and we almost tripped on it. With the AC on in our room, we unfortunately still could not get rid of the moldy smell. I would try a different hotel next time when I visit Montreal.

I enjoyed my stay at the Sandman. The staff is always friendly and courteous and willing to assist your every need. I liked the face that for 99.00 there was a pool, suana and a gym.
