Habe das Hostel von Deutschland aus für mein Work and Travel Abenteuer, für die ersten Nächte gebucht. incl. Frühstück -sehr günstig. Würde es auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Downtown

This hostel is right downtown so it is easy to get anywhere. Lots of shopping and restaurants in the area as well as grocery stores. And a casino about 10 blocks away. And all kinds of public transportation including a subway to and from the airport.

Very convenient and centrally located

The staffs were very friendly and very helpful. Would rather prefer boys and girls in different dorms tho.

ロケーションは良いです。スタッフもフレンドリーでしたし、お部屋もそこそこです。風呂トイレも特に問題なかったです。欠点は、部屋の冷房設備があまり良くなかったのと、wifiが全然使い物になりませんでした。

I just needed a place to sleep after riding in the RSVP. This place met that need as well as a hot shower and breakfast in the morning. The first floor of the building is a bar and music was playing into the wee hours of the morning, but I was so tired it didn't keep me awake. It was clean and secure with no extras but sometimes that is just what one needs.

Good in general, and good breakfast

Good hostel. Very adopted for younger folks. Lot of trips and activities available. Free breakfast was very good. Bread and bagels, oat and milk and fruit salad.

Nice hotel right in the heart of downtown Vancouve

I stayed at this hostel on a whim waiting for friends to meet up with me in Vancouver, I was so impressed by the staff, cleanliness & the charm of the building that I stayed for an extra night. I spent 8 nights in a mixed dorm room. I met the most amazing people as roomates. The hostel is so clean. The kitchen was my favourite part always neat. The washroom always neat and generally it was an amazing experience no regrets

Best run hostel I've seen in a long time!

They run a tight ship here and that's exactly what you need in a backpacker hostel with so many people coming and going. I was pleasantly surprised how well run this place is. I booked a private room with my own bathroom and although sparse, my room was perfect (it's summer, so I cannot say whether it would be the same in the winter). Average sort of backpackers, the single/private rooms were nice but small.

Bit dicey to head out at night, seems to be in a slightly seemier part of town. But then walk the 2 blocks to Robson and it is bright and safe!

Nice backpacker with a very friendly atmosphere. I found the staff here very helpful and friendly and the rooms clean and well maintained. Not large like many other backpackers so likely to get full, but the small area creates a friendly backpacker atmosphere.

I stayed in the dorm accommodation of the Samesun Hostel.

Doom rooms are very cramped if you've got all 4 beds occupied. They attempt to mitigate this problem by offerring limited storage lockers in the hallways on every floor.

Beds in the Dorms are $24 a night inclusive of tax (Current as at Mar 2007 low season) or if you want to commit to a week $140.

An absolutely brilliant backpackers downtown on Georgia. The room are okay, the bathrooms clean, the lounge is the best ever for a hostel...pool table & sofas & lots of interesting & friendly travellers.

It's a welcoming place, with proper facilities. Friendly staff, nice buffet breakfast. A no-frills cheap accommodation.
The Beaver (in-house bar) is a lively place but the rooms are not at all affected by the noise. Its location is ideal too as it's right in the middle of downtown.
Highly recommended.

I stayed here in 2010 and it was a very warm and welcoming place. It is clean, tidy and the staff are friendly & helpful.

If your thinking of staying you wont regret it, it can be a bit noisy but its a hostel after all.

Fun staff, Party atmosphere, bottom level can get loud, but the beds are kept separate and well protected from the noise (loudest thing is being on Granville street)
Beds can be a little squeaky but no worse than most hostels and better than plenty.
Breakfast is basic Hostel fare of toast/bagels/juice/tea/coffee with various spreads.
TV room has more shows and movies than you'll ever need.... more

I spent a night at Samesun, which was my first hostel experience. I had a great time, I met a bunch of great people while I was there, and having a bar located in the hostel was really nice. I was also able to lock up my bike in the basement which was a nice assurance. The 4 bedroom room I stayed in was nice, comfortable bed, clean sheets.
