Okay, just okay
Nothing special here. The most uncomfortable seats in a restaurant I think I have every sat on. Service was so so as was the meal.
Poor customer service, vinegary rice
I used to think Sakura had the best sushi in town until I ordered a large amount of sushi from them on New Year's Eve. They didn't give me some of the sushi I paid for and when I called they put me on hold for 20 minutes. I hung up and called back. The server I spoke to said the manager would call me back but they never did so I was out that money. Also, the sushi on this night was HORRIBLE. The sushi rice had so much vinegar in it that every piece just tasted sour and nasty. I won't be going back.
Wonderful group dinner
We celebrated a friends birthday here. We are not sushi lovers, but the food was great. The hot & sour soup and rolls were full of flavour. The rest of the meal was excellent and this is a great place to socialize while you eat. We would have gave it 5 stars but they forgot our last order of sake.
I'd like it to be better
This is certainly the most capacious sushi place in PG and unlike one of the other reviewers, we 've always had fairly good service. the downside is that the rolls just aren't up to the standard that we've had at our two favourites, Wasabi and Sushi Hut. Too bad because here, unlike those others, you have lots of elbow room and privacy.
Horrible Service - DO NOT GO to SAKURA
Do NOT go to SAKURA Steak & Seafood House - we had the most HORRIBLE service - only 4 of 7 of us out for a family dinner even got food and then they tried to bill us for another couples meal - I will NEVER go back there again - they had not even started making the Sushi for the 3 guys by the time our grill meal was completely finished

Thought it would be low class and not very good. To my suprise it was quite the opposite. Yes the decor is a little cheap looking when in the main lobby/garden area but the food was awesome. The service was great and the food was awesome. Will definitley go again for the awesome, very reasonably priced, melt in your mouth, food.

Great food - most of the time. Some of the younger new "cooks" are a bit rough around the edges. A good experience over all. Prices are reasonable. I would recommend you try it out.
