Upon entrance we were greeted and seated immediately. Some of the friendliest and courteous staff were there to educate, serve, and overall create the best dining experience I have, by far, ever had.

The food quality and service were exemplary. The view was abysmal and if it weren't for the company, the $200 price tag would not have been worth it. Honestly, in what scenario would a 10 oz steak, a small steak, scalloped potatoes and three 6 oz glasses of medium quality wine come to that much?

the food was very good. they do steaks like nobody's business. however, extremely expensive. you can only go there if the company's buying or once a year, at most. there are no sides included with the entree. don't forget that because the addition of sides adds greatly to the price.

Unfortunately one of the steaks twice came back severely undercooked (purple raw) - a new steak was provided to the correct temperature on the third attempt. Great Food and Service in a Great Location

We enjoyed a leisurely meal with a nice view in the Ruth's Chris at the Calgary Tower. Our waiter was superb, and the steak was served juicy, sizzling, and very tasty. We shared a steak and sweet potato casserole and highly recommend both.

The food was Excellent. However, the presentation was somewhat drab. The photo's do not lie. It's not cheap to eat here.

Better than expected

I'm not one for 'steak' restaurants but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the quiet ambience (we could have a conversation), the service, the decor and the convenient parking. That said, it is a wonderful special occasion place for us. Prices are steep, good for the 'business account' crowd or if you are celebrating a birthday or other event.

Fantastic meal ... it seemed pricey, however, given the quality of the food and teh generous portions ..it was well worth it !! Definitely a place you want to spend a few hours enjoying the meal, an the company!

Superior and Delicious

I can't rave enough about the great steak ... So delicious! My only negative comment would be the wine list I would have enjoyed a glass of red wine with my meal but I can't justify paying $16 a glass. That was the cheapest the list. If it was just a bit cheaper it would have been the great dining experience.

Incredibly Delicious

What an amazing atmosphere whether it's for a special occasion or a romantic evening out. In my case luncheon occasion but nonetheless. The service was outstanding! Outrageous prices!!!! For an average steak.
The $8.00 cauliflower side was average and the $10.00 onion ring side (that was highly recommended) was on par with Dairy Queen.

This was my first visit to Ruth Chris in Calgary, I have been to a few stateside and unfortunately the service and food did not add up. Assumptions were made on our side dishes and we were given something we did not order. For some reason the ribeye's were seasoned with too much salt. This was disappointing knowing the quality @ other branches in the states.

Great Mother's Day

Can never really go wrong at this place. The mother's day brunch was great, nice spread. Chicken was a little dry, but service was great and friendly. One small item, though, when you pay $55 per person for the brunch, why charge separately for the coffee?

Dining at Ruth's Chris. Good scenery, fast and friendly service good food if only the price was reasonable. The meal was comparable to what you get in Calgary at the higher end of the scale just the 100$ additional cost for ambience is a future deal breaker unless of cause if you are spending someone else's money :)

We celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary. They sprinkled the table with decorations and recognized us as we entered. I had asked for a quiet table and was given one which was ok, but a group of 4 was right next to us and it got noisy when they left and the staff were cleaning the table. The food was fantastic. This is a really comfortable restaurant. Quiet surroundings - perfect for a business or a personal lunch. The food is really good but expensive ($39 for scallop lunch special for instance). Friendly and professional wait staff. I like it here and when I feel like splurging, it's a reliable place to go.

My wife and I came to the restaurant to celebrate my birthday and the food and service was excellent until they got really busy about 8:30. It took us over 20 minutes for desert and soda drink refills.
