We ate here 3 times over 4 days

This restaurant is excellent, and you could well spend a whole day here enjoying the lovely warm lake (we tried stand-up paddle boarding and hired boards next to the restaurant), doing some lakeside yoga (see posters in restaurant), sitting on the lovely sandy beach, watching the wildlife (hummingbirds feeding on a nearby tree, dragonflies hovering over the pond)...

Great views and Delicious Food

Excellent Food but WAAAAY overpriced
August 08, 2014This was a lovely restaurant but I don't get why they have to charge so much for their food. We had lunch and it was like $16.95 for my salad!! Yikes. Too expensive but I guess that's what you do when you're the only restaurant in "town"!

Great location but average meal

The welcome in the restaurant was warm and friendly although our request to change table couldn't be accommodated. Stop here to eat on your way to Earl's Cove ferry

Only 10 minutes from the ferry landing and so, so much better than ferry food.
My GF really enjoyed the Halibut and chips and I had a great plate of spaghetti with wild prawns.
The restaurant is supposed to be mainly Italian with a seafood slant but was somewhat lacking in pasta types other than spaghetti.

Attractive place, welcoming personnel, average food
August 02, 2013Very pleasant attractive restaurant well situated less then 20 min from Egmont. Food however was very average although the salads were plentiful and delicious. The deserts and pastas were a bit disappointing for an Italian eatery. But the staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. A little pricey given the fare.

The rooms were moderately appointed. All you need, well serviced and up to date- appropriate to the price point.

The title says it - the location is simply stunning and the food truly amazing - and vice versa...

Lovely italian restaurant in the middle of nowhere. The pasta is always good. Their fish special usually amazing. Prices are good. Wine list a bit lacking - not many local or Australian wines but it is an Italian restaurant.....
Location is very pretty.

Ate here on the Thursday as shut on wednesday this time of season. food excellent, not bad value for money, sat outside and watched the beaver in the pond as well as the humming birds.
All in all a grat place to eat especially outside, we were lucky with the weather for the time of year

Mainly known as an Italian eatery, was pleasantly surprised to see so many seafood options and natural proteins...eg.. wild boar, kangaroo, yak etc.

Best Restaurant in Canada
December 30, 2011I loved the Restaurant. It was absolutely amazing. Great food. Great service. Beautiful atmosphere. There are turtles, birds, fish, and frogs within 200 feet of the restaurant.
