Casual, cosy little Italian place. Only had the lasagna (frozen - not recommended) and the canneloni (excellent). Have yet to try other pastas and dishes. Looking forward to going back... plus

OK place for a quick Italian meal

This small restaurant is well situated in downtown Montreal. It offers a few pizzas, pastas, and meat dishes. Nothing fancy, nothing extraordinary.
The dining room has a few regular tables and some higher bar-like tables in the back, near the kitchen. The atmosphere is relaxed.
You place your order at the counter and they will call you when it's ready,...

We were walking back from the Old Montreal Forum when we chanced upon the Rotisserie Italienne. Looking through the window, we decided immediately that we had to try this restaurant. Our philosophy with restaurants is that you can never go wrong with a crowded, well patronized establishment.
It is not an upmarket restaurant; more like the typical basic, no-frills Italian...

Not high end but tastes great with fantastic value and staff
03 mai 2013I was there 1st week of April and it is just a little place on St. Catherines. No fancy decorations and youhave to go up and order then get your food when ready. What great value for food it is tasty and the wine is not expensive. Your not getting medium sized portions just what you need to fill up... plus

Had it's glory days
15 mars 2013You have to understand this was a place on the good price/value option..but this was so disappointing, the pizza was a store bought tasting style, although I'm assuming the ingredients were fresh but bland, and my husband's scallopine was tender but so salty , he could hardly eat it...very cheap house wine...and the look of the kitchen was disgusting...so dirty... plus

Lasagna to go
24 février 2013We stayed at a nearby hotel and ordered a large amount of lasagna for our hockey team. It was quite good. The place doesnt look like much, but the food is pretty good and reasonably priced. I would go again.
