This place is adorable. Its just off Dundas east of Erin Mills but you feel like you've stepped into a romantic restaurant in Europe when you go. The food is good, portions are pretty small but definetly tasty and the service is great. A really nice restaurant for a date night!
The Rosewood Bistro is the perfect restaraunt for a romantic dinner with that special someone. Its resaonable prices and warm, inviting atmosphere make for a perfect meal experience.
Very disappointed that this restaurant has closed. Great food and staff will be missed in this part of Mississauga
We dined at Rosewood last Friday. It was good but nothing that would make me want to return. I was confused by what type of restaurant it wanted to be. It has a (tacky) rustic decor to it, kind of like a rustic Italian feel to it....but it had large pictures of Jazz singers on the wall. The washrooms had... more
I came here to celebrate my sweet sixteen. I invited around 10 girls and made a reservation for friday night. When i got there i was very impressed with the table set up we had in a closed off area especially for the party. we were offered delicious shirley temples, and bread with melon infused butter (which tasted amazing) Then... more
My husband and I took a friend to the Rosewood Bistro recently. This was our friends' first visit to Canada. The wine was great but sadly, it went downhill from there. It was a Tuesday evening, not many patrons in the restaurant. Still, the waitress was inattentive and clearly very inexperienced: each time she went to top up the wine... more
I recently had dinner here with a friend on the only snowy, cold evening we have had so far. The restaurant was warm and cozy and friendly, a nice start to the evening. Our server was very attentive, gracious and very helpful. The food was flavourful, delicious and well prepared. The whole evening was a comfort evening. I really enjoyed... more
Over the last few years, the Rosewood has become dated and lacks the enthusiasm with the menu and the wine list.
We enjoyed selecting from the seasonal special menu. This is excellent value at less than $50 for two, including a bottle of wine, so do remember to ask your waiter for the menu. The full menu is also very good, but more pricey!
The starters offered were well prepared and presented. The entree offered a choice of three and included...

My husband & I have been to the bistro on several occasions, and went back today for lunch. The service was excellent - our server, Yasmin, was absolutely fantastic!
We sat on the front patio, with a great view of the fountain, enjoying a Sangria, & a delicious & generous meal. I always enjoy the decor & the atmosphere of...

Our seated area was dark and without light. The food was good however nothing special. I would not return again. Service was very good though.
Went for afternoon lunch to sit on the patio and just relax. It was not very busy at all.
Ordered some wine... Got the wrong sized glass... Not too much of a problem. Ordered an appetizer which was received after the meal... More of a problem. Of the two entrees one was completely wrong... So basically every step of the meal was messed up. Oh ya... I was asked if I wanted some ketchup to which...

Visited here for a lunch with some coworkers.
Not a bad menu. Most of the table went with the lunch sized fish and chips. I went with the duck confit pizza. Everyone rec'd their meals except me. I was then told that there was a mistake in the kitchen and that mine was now being made.
Not sure how it happened, as we were the first 6 people in there and no more than 5 more patrons came while we...

While initially the restaurant was empty at 6pm on a Saturday, it quickly filled up. Staff were friendly and our server was very pleasant. We had seen that the Rosewood was having a special promotion in March (2 entrees and a bottle of wine for $49.95) and had to request the special menu from the server. Be sure to check... more
My wife and I went back to the Rosewood Bistro for Valentine's Day as we had enjoyed our previous experience. We loved it! The bistro had a special menu for the day. The food was great, delicious, generous portions. The wine selection is good. I have just a few elements to report that need to be improved. The service was... more
The food was terrible.
Not worth it.
Nice location and service was friendly.
Great place to have a romantic dinner at. I've been to this place a few time win my wife and it never was any less than an excellent experience. Food is great an delicious. Service is excellent "friendly and a lot of smiles". Price is a bit expensive but hey is still worth it I believe. Will defiantly visit again.
We had a large party in the third floor loft, and it went superb! The place is wonderful- rustic and tasteful charm that we needed- our daughter did not want the formality of a banquet hall for her Sweet Sixteen, and the location is excellent - close to QEW on one side and 403 on the other. Also situated in... more
I am not sure if the decor is great or tacky....it almost crosses the line. There is alot of trompe-l'oeil on the walls. The food was OK. We went for a weekend brunch and had omeletes. Nothing amazing but OK. Very decent prices.
Excellent restaurant, great food, great atmosphere, great and courteous service. Definitely a place to check out when in Mississauga.
We had a 3-course dinner at Rosewood Bistro the past weekend. The escargot was the best that I'd ever had. Foi gras was done perfect! My bf's beef tenderloin was extremely yummy and tender. My seafood risotto was well done with huge scallop! The crepe for dessert was the best that I've had. It's a bit pricey but definitely worth... more
A little difficult to find, this Bistro is located in a small shopping center with another restaurant that has a similar name and a very visible sign (we came close to going to the wrong place). The place was very quiet when we went in and that worried me a bit, but not for long. The ambiance is pleasant; lighting... more
Went to this restaurant a while ago on a friends sugestion. We were lucky they were able to sneek us in on a very busy evening. The service was great the food was very well prepared and the atmosphere was great. A great place for a romantic diner. Try the baked brie it was great.
We have dined at the Rosewood many times in the last five years.
It goes from strength to strength. A new menu offers a broader range of choices, but all still appears hand made and fresh.
Service is intimate and informal, but not intrusive. The food was excellent. My Portobellini was delightful, but was soon eclipsed by the best onion...

Good food - Steaks
Ambience - casual elegant
Thursday night - live jazz - bonus!
Definitely the best restaurant in Mississauga! It has great options to eat that are different from your regular chain restaurant and the patio in the summer is to die for! They have a more than decent wine selection and the atmosphere is great for a long dinner or a relaxing lunch!
Very nice atmosphere and excellent service, although the waiters were a little informal for my liking. The food was generally 'pretty good'. For appetizer, I had the calamari (which was the best dish, in my opinion). The beef tenderloin was good, but the cut was too fatty. The white chocolate cheesecake was very good, but a bit heavy on the... more
A great atmosphere, especially for a romantic evening out. Special menus for holidays, etc.
Love the environment - a great romantic restaurant.
Went to the Rosewood Bistro for an anniversary dinner. After being approached immediately for drinks, but wanting to pick a wine that would go with our meal, we asked for a minute to decide. About 15 minutes later the waiter came back for the entire order. We ordered our meals and drinks and the appetizers arrived in under 5 minutes! The escargot was not hot and the melted cheese on top was... more
