Fun Lunch Spot

This place has a cute name and we really liked the decor! Our lunch was tasty pub food -- we had burgers and beer. The waitstaff were friendly and the whole place had a fun vibe with nice seating along the front wall of windows on the second floor overlooking a vibrant, bustling shopping area. Nice Roof Top Patio and Good Food

Located on Spring Garden Road in Downtown Halifax. Your Fathers Moustache has a very nice roof top patio. The entrance to the patio is a bit hard to spot. The patio entrance is located behind the bar. Your Fathers Moustache offers some of the best pub food in Halifax. Try the "Pub Club". In addition, the service is very good.

The waitress was very good, we had the Pulled Pork Sandwich and the Chicken Caesar Wrap both were very good but my husband had the Nor'Easter Chicken Sandwich and he said it wasn't very good. We had the fully loaded potatoes they were really really excellent.The rooftop dining is really funky.

We came here for dinner and drinks on June 30th. The patio is amazing! The service is excellent too!
The only reason why it's getting 3 stars from me is because the food was nothing great. Do not order the pulled pork with sausage on a bun! The rest is average pub fare.

Cold beer, good food and a roof top view

Excellent meal and cold beer were only a few of the highlights. I had the clams and chips and they were very good. The roof top dining was a nice touch.
For you guys a must stop in the restroom! You have to see it to believe it.

Try the mac 'n' cheese with a large beer. Amazing food, served hot, when you want it in a really friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Literally just round the corner from The Lord Nelson Hotel.

Went there for brunch and was not disappointed

Well worth the trip up the long staircase!! Large portions, good service and nice pub atmosphere made for a very pleasant meal. One of our group went for the pub club from previous experience and couldn't resist doing it again. For the rest of us, the breakfast items were great.

Great food and great beer

Came in here the other night with my girlfriend. Monday is half price pasta night. We had the Lobster Carbonara and Chipotle Chicken Penne both of which were fantastic. I wasn't sure what to drink, so Buck suggested the 6 beer taster selection.
We had a great evening and the service was excellent. Definitely recommend anyone coming here.

We stopped by on Sunday morning for breakfast and it was delish!

Went there Friday night at 5:00pm very busy but we sat ourselves and were greeted quickly by our server who was sweet and very helpful with our questions about the area. My son and I got the Pub Club and my husband Fish and Chips. Loved the Pub Club a little pricey for pub food but worth it sooo delicious!

This is a nice, low-key pub that I go to pretty regularly. Their selection of microbrew beers changes with the seasons, and are all quite good. They have tasty burgers and nachos. There is an open mic night here Thursday nights, with (usually) pretty good entertainers. Trivia Tuesdays tend to be packed, so arrive early.

Visiting with my daughter and she suggested to go here as she had visited with friends before. We both had awesome meals and a great view from the top of the restaurant. Will definitely go back again if and when I return.

We've had 2 pitchers of Fathom IPA (it's the Mutt's nut's or very nice!), fish & chips (very good, nicely cooked fish and plenty of it), mushroom Swiss burger (succulent and flavoursome) fries could be better but adequate. First time ordering a burger at Halifax's favourite pub. It was enormous! You could split it with someone its that big. Of course it doesn't help that I had some of their delicious wings before hand. Make sure you get a side of fries, you won't regret it.

They are famous for their chicken wings on Thursdays (current price 40c a piece, and still rising :-( ) but it is hard to get in (you have to wait on average ~30mins) and if you are late, you are likely to get the food prepared many hours before (as I experienced it many times). When it comes to quality, Your Father's Moustache has the best wings in Halifax. They also have a variety of beers and good side dishes. Make sure you show up early on Thursday or you won't get a spot.

Since this place gets pretty crowded on Thursdays, it's not ideal if you want to have a conversation or enjoy some quite time with friends.

Best Place in Halifax

The Mustache is the greatest place to go if you want to hang out and have a few drinks and dinner or a starter. The roof top is the place to be on a nice summer day. Brunch is amazing for a hangover cure. Cheap and so very good. I always recommend people to The Mustache if someone is from out of town. It is and always will be my favorite place.

Your Father's Moustache calls itself the Halifax's Landmark Pub & Eatery. I dropped in at a busy Fridaynight and got a prompt service from one of the many waitresses. The crowd was young, students and alike and some hundred voices were competing. The food from the grill was served fast and had a basic Canadian quallity. Great prices but...

I wasn't impressed with the poor lighting in the restaurant, and i wasn't met at the door when i arrived so i was extremly confused if i was to sit myself or not. But in the end i had a nice server and the prices where very good.

I love this place . It has tons of atmosphere and is always buzzing with business people on lunch break , students and visitors .. It's cozy and warm in winter and the upstairs patio is funin summer....especially near the outside edge , where you can watch the people below.

Delicious Nachos!!

It was a nice environment with good customer service. I would recommend going with a bunch of friends. I don't think there is any age group that wouldn't have a good time there.
