Some of the best Chinese, north or south of the border

Easiest way to sum up the pleasure of the food we got is to say the the vegetables actually crunched when eaten - not because they were undercooked, but because they were fresh and PERFECTLY cooked! The duck place, recommended
July 06, 2012Very good food, the 5 flavours duck simply irresistible, dumpling as starters not at the level of what followed, chinese beer a bit pricey, kind staff, overall nice athmospher, not overcrowded or packed by too many customers, it doesn't strike you when you walk on the street, but it's worth a visit. Based on reviews, expected better
June 18, 2012Good but not great. Dishes have good flavor but not authentic when they don't contain any vibes vegetables. Broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, and carrots instead of gailan, bok choy, or choy sum. Walked almost a mile from my hotel to rest here based on reviews. Slightly disappointed .

I have been enjoying this restaurant on business trips for more than 10 years !
On Avenue du Parc , just off Sherbrooke St. near McGill University, this family owned restaurant serves great chinese food at reasonable prices and they truly show appreciation for their clientele. Patrons include students and staff from the University, tourists and regulars.

I recently visited in June for the second time. I cannot wait to return for a third. The table d'hote is not only an incredible value, it is an astounding meal in five courses (plus complimentary port). They are also very accommodating to dietary needs (seafood allergy, vegetarian).
