The food in this used-to-be cosy restaurant is as good as ever but there is now a keyboard player belting out tunes as loud as his speakers can manage in the corner of a tiny dining room. Escape is impossible, as is civilised conversation. We politely asked that the sound be turned down a notch to be told, by the... plus
This cozy restaurant serves a wide range of authentic French bistro dishes. Our assigned server seemed distracted, taking 15 minutes to bring a wine menu 3 steps. Fortunately, she was replaced by an energetic waitress who was friendly and efficient. I chose the asparagus and brie quiche which I found to be delicious albeit a little drowned in a tasty,... plus
Food was o.k., nothing special; my escargot entree was lukewarm, the meat was chewy. The waitress is very unfriendly and snotty, does not offer any suggestion as to what we should order. Would not go back.
The owners Pascale and Lionel are truly nice persons. The martinis, delicious, needless to say the food is excellent. The price quite affordable and its near metro station. Better to make reservations on week-end. During summer they have a small terrace with flowers. The clientele mostly adults and a friendly ambiance. You will want to go back again.
I've been there quite a year ago, though it's only today that i've thought about it.
Its a small 25-30 places restaurant that expand their business in Summer with a nice patio outside. The place is cozy, with some nice decoration. As soon as you enter the restaurant you don't feel that the sophisticated but simple, French Cuisine would alienate you with their complicated menu or really...

This is one of my favourite little restaurants in Montreal. It's tiny, intimate, and has a great menu! The staff is amazing. It may be run by a family, but I'm not all together sure. Whether or not they are a family, they seem to treat their patrons like family. My grandparents used to eat here a lot a few years ago, but my grandfather does not like driving into the city. Last year I called for... plus
