I went to Montego for a work/seminar dinner, which was a great setting for this. I was able to have the entire second floor for the evening for a group of 20 with presentations throughout dinner.
Typically many restaurants don't give options if you're looking for a fixed menu, however, at Montego I was able to stay within my budget and have choices for appetizers and mains so that everyone's...

Cold food, steak was rare. Wanted medium. Waiters are rude. Plate was almost empty. Beer was EXTREMELY expensive. 12$ for a stella. Would not recommend.
This place is your typical classy contemporary (but slightly dated) joint with a neighbourhood feel. Service is usually kind and efficient, but it sometimes comes across as a little... forced (or at least it did the past couple of times I have been there).
Now, I was debating between a 3 and 4 star review, but my latest experience unfortunately compels me to give out a lower grade.
You see,...

We were invited to Montego for a dinner reception. We deove from Boston to Quebec and it was worth it. The room size was perfect, the food was exceptional and the service is rated 5 star. The food is prepared in front of you and the wine selection is one of a kind. Thanks!!
Very good and the second best meal we had in the area. (First best was Flagrant Delice). I'd call the decor and background music nouveau/edgy. Good meal. Not disappointed at all.
I am a Quebec city resident.
I have gone to Montego resto club multiple times for business meals, with my husband or for events ... i have never been disappointed.
Their lobster risotto is exquisite.
We had to make reservations for this place. The food and service was great. One of us was vegetarian and they actually had the chef whip up a starter just for us. The starters was amazing as was the main course as well as the desert. There was live music with musicians moving around the many dining areas (i think... plus
We arrived at our B&B in Quebec in the early evening and didn't want to venture all the way to the Old Town for dinner. Our B&B hosts suggested the Montego Resto Club and made us a reservation. We were not disappointed. While a bit pricey, the food and service were exquisite. They brought us complimentary appetizers (meatballs and fondue,... plus
We just had a fantastic meal at Montego Resto on Maguire Avenue in Quebec. It was Christmas night and the restaurant was very busy; but our waitress Cynthia was very attentive and patient with our requests for Gluten free meals and English translations. We really appreciated the extra time Cynthia took to verify each dish was gluten free (as our... plus
When in QC, I try to have one meal at the Montego. Food is very good and the staff is attentive. Lots of locals - so you know it's consistent.
Great food eventhough the portions are not so big, great atmosphere, friendly staff, beautiful modern elegant furniture!!! 4th visit, just love this place.
This is a beautiful place. Well decorated. Excellent service and very very good food. This place has it all and as my B&B hostess did to us, I highly recommend this place to all. Pricy for sure, but worth it.
Have been here at least 5 times and every time I had the most wonderful food! Pricey, but the food is so good! Quite creative dishes too.
I love this place!
Great food and server very helpful with accomodating our basic French language skills! sat on outdoor side porch
Great food-great service. My favorite restorant in quebec city. I come often for business at lunch et it is also great for dinner.
They know the celiac illness and will propose nice alternative for gluten free. I love their risotto and minestrone.
An amazing dinner...the best we've had in Quebec. From beginning to end everything was beautiful. We had a group of 7 and everyone had a perfect meal. Will make another reservation this week!
I am local and have dined here frequently for over 15 years, mostly for lunch during the week although suppers are nice, too. Service is good and the atmosphere is lively. My preferences are their Asian-inspired dishes and the tartares (salmon, tuna, beef - all good). To be honest, I don't enjoy the live music in the evenings, but most... plus
For years we heard of the wonderful cuisine in Quebec City and explored different options on each visit trying to find it. After a few hits and many, many misses at other places, Restaurant Montego finally hit the spot in spectacular fashion. The service was top notch, a decent wine selection and mouth watering menu. The high end presentation is... plus
As our B&B recommended this place, our expectations were high. The prices also were a little on the high side, although the quality of the food was 'just' good, not exceptional. A big plus is that for several dishes you can choose between a small and a large dish, always good for small eaters!
Service was good, even if it...

Like its sister resturant Graiffi - this place never disappoints. Outstanding service, food and consistant.
Mostly locals, reservations required. Maguire Street is a unique QC experience.
Food is great here. They are very busy during summer, so reserve in advance. Not air conditioned, so can be very hot inside.
Coming to Q City is new for most people, come to this fantastic restaurant, this place has such great energy and fun and the food and wine list will have something to please everyone!
This is a restaurant you don't want to miss out on. Wonderful people, delicious and originally presented food. Located not too far from the Old Quebec City this restaurant is a must when visiting the area. For a special brunch or an intimate diner with your spouse, you will enjoy the experience. Very popular place so you will need to... plus
I was here for a business dinner last week and was thoroughly impressed by this restaurant.
The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful offering English menus to my anglophone colleagues.
The food was outstanding. I had the beef carpaccio which was served with just the right amount of truffle oil and grand padano. My entree consisted of a mushroom risotto with duck confit and foie gras....

I have been in Quebec City for business for 2 weeks now and I eat at this restaurant as often as possible. Yes, it is slightly above my per diem but I could care less. The service is great, the people are nice, and the food is the best I've found. Please order the lobster risotto. I think I could live off the calamari. For the price, it is worth every penny, or whatever the Canadians call it.
Restaurant Montego Club Cuisine Ensoleillee offers these services: restaurant.
Montego Resto Club is one of the Quebec area's trendiest bistros, this sunny spot serves first-rate California cuisine in a delightful, bustling atmosphere. Innovative pasta dishes include Linguine with Prosciutto, melon, peppers and sundried tomatoes, while traditionally prepared meat and fish courses are accented with fresh produce and other typical West Coast accoutrements. Located in... plus
Located across the river in Sillery, this lively restaurant serves a variety of "feel-good" dishes hailing from places like California, Italy, France and China. The Southwestern décor and rainbow lighting may seem out of place in Québec, but locals like it just fine. Serving up everything from steak with avocado and peppers to tuna carpaccio to Cajun-style crawfish and linguine with scallops,... plus
