Bonne bouffe, bons souvenirs !
Depuis des années un "must" pour une bouffe pas compliquée et une soirée vraiment agréable.

Le restaurant est très beau et la nourriture est excellente. Les pâtes sont délicieuses, même si les plats sont un peu dispendieux pour les étudiants. Le vin est cher. Cependant, ça vaut la peine d'aller y faire un tour! Bref, c'est mon avis et je le partage !

We found this place to be pretentious and overpriced. The spinach salad was drenched in dressing. The pastas tasted like something my college roommate could have made. And the food took over an hour to arrive. Stay away. Bref, c'est mon avis et je le partage !

La pasta est au prix du steak. Le service est un peu lent. La carte des vins est un peu courte. Les assiettes sont un peu creuses. L'ensemble est toutefois préparé dans des sauces élaborées, entouré d'un décor bien actuel et livré avec un ambiance musciale soignée. Des sucres lents qu'on oublie pas. Bref, c'est mon avis et je le partage !

C'est une valeur sûre! Le personnel est discret et efficace, l'ambiance est "trendy" avec un musique techno contemporaine et le prix est raisonnable. Pour la nourriture, je prends toujours les trinettes de poulet (pâte genre fettuccini avec une sauce crèmeuse et morceux de bacon. hummm...). J'ai effectué une visite dernièrement au Misto et j'ai bien apprécié le service. L'assiette de medaglioni à la sauce rosée m'a fortement impressionné, car je mange souvent dans des restaurant italiens, mais je n'avais jamais vu une sauce rosée dans un restaurant qui n'est pas juste un mélange de sauce tomate et sauce alfredo. Classic italian food with a modern touch, Eat there several times on different occasion The food is good and service excellent, they are really proffessionnal I recommand the chicken calzone, the shrimp pasta, and the great cannelloni Give a try in their home made desserts The only cons i have is the price Too much expensive for a pasta and pizza food

Good service and great food. The food seemed really authentic and was very enjoyable. I stopped in on a Thursday and the atmosphere was great. Would definitely go here again!

What a fun dinner. The waiter was super energetic & welcoming and the bar-lady was very attentive and helpful. Landed on this spot by accident; a great find! Casual Italian bistro, good wine list. The chicken carbonara was so good! Was hesitant of egg on top, but made sauce even creamier. Husband had the veggie pizza and added chicken. The crust was the perfect crisp/soft combo, and the tomatoes were super fresh! Delicious!

Oysters were poorly shucked and half of them were still attached to the shell and/or contained pieces of shell.
Rest of the food was OK, but service deserved 1 star. Rude hostess, bored waiter not making any effort to put our shared plate between us and/or rearrange our table.
Considering the very high price of the food, it's unacceptable to have such poor service.
Will not attend again.

Nice outdoor seating brought us to eat at misto for dinner, but the food was very ordinary and lacked true flavors. The appetizer was decent, but the pasta dishes were so blah.
The wine was extremely over priced and two small glasses were 1/2 our check cost! Dissapointed to have selected this place on a whim instead of checking reviews.

We've been at Misto for the first time because it is a cool spot on Av.Mont-Royal and we wanted to taste it.
The restaurant is pretty cool, the food is good quality but overpriced!
What made the experience bad is the service: slow, impersonal and inattentive...And the restaurant was not busy at all! Our waiter forgot the entrée, we asked...

Prefix menu is awesome

This place has been around for some time. We finally went and here is our thoughts:
The food was not particularly good (the pasta was over-cooked in all three dishes) and the sauces were not above average, the service is blasé and uneven and the place is too loud.
It's not horrible, just not good.

Our party of 5 thought Misto was only average. The appetizers were good (nice cheese plate, good Mozzarella di buffala) but our mains were... meh!
My chicken foccacia pizza was flavorless, the crust was doughy, there wasn't enough sauce, making the whole dish really dry. My cousin also had a foccacia and we agreed that we've had better frozen pizzas....

Went to Montreal with another couple for the first time for the long weekend. After the road trip up from the city we were starving!
We took the train to the Mont Royal stop and walked around until we found a restaurant that was cute with outdoor seating and a good looking menu!

Great atmosphere to enjoy awesome pasta
29 mai 2012We decided to try something out of the downtown core and found this place on the plateau Mont-Royal. This casual Italian restaurant has fantastic pastas, affordable wines and a great local atmosphere. Service was good with various staff available to handle any requests throughout the meal. Both indoor and the outdoor patio on the street have a great vibe!

Top Notch Service
15 janvier 2012Arriving early and expressing a special interest in the wine list, the waiter was quite attentive and helpful throughout the night. Our table was serviced promptly and without undue haste. All guests made a point of congratulating me on the choice of restaurant. Food taste, presentation, and quality was solid. Wine list prices were reasonable, as these things go.

Went to Misto with customers on a tuesday night after work.
It is not easy to find the entrance door but remember it is 929 Mont Royal. Once you are in its is very charming and cosy..
The wine selection is ok with the restaurant profile!
Wiatress are nice and always smiling Our waitress was very helpfull she gave us...

From what I recall, Misto is a trendy place that serves overpriced pasta.
I think the pasta wasn't overcooked, but it was not the kind of pasta that parts the heavens.

After stumbling around Montreal trying to decide where to eat dinner, we were recommended by a local to try Misto - an italian restaurant with superb food, amazing service and very reasonable prices.
The experience was fantastic, and we were lucky that we came early, as most locals tend to eat later in the evening; the place was absolutely packed...
