This is a really cute restaurant and the menu looked promising, so we went in. We were definitely not disappointed. The restaurant was modern looking with an interesting looking glass wine cellar near where we sat. The waitress was very friendly and helpful.

Sadly the move hurt the food and atmosphere

This once was a very good place to eat, but sadly they moved down the street last winter and I was told the Son took over from his Father. The result is not good in my opinion. Real French cuisine. Huge portions. Very good

The starter was VERY good (warm goat cheese on a bruschetta) and the main dish was excellent (beef ribs). We shared it with my daughter and could hardly finish it. I mean it was HUGE!
But it was so good we could leave a piece on the plate.

Awesome service and good food

We had dinner at this restaurant. The wait staff was awesome and very accommodating of Americans. I had a pizza which was really good and my wife had fish and chips which was equally good. Her only complaint was that her fries were only Luke warm. We will definitely return to this place, it was a lot of fun.

Great food, great price

We orderet steak with fries and salad. I was very surprised to see that entire salad was arugula, which I loved. Price is great compared to other places, we paid $ 16.50 and portions were great (and we really eat a lot).

Decent lunch

I stopped in for lunch and had a panini and a pop. Panini was pretty decent, not earth shattering, but good. Not $15 worth though which is what it cost.
Atmosphere was nice....open air place on a warm sunny day. Service was OK....I ate at the bar and the bartender was quite busy but tended to me as needed.

Tourist trap

I was surprised when I walked passed the restaurant since it has just opened recently and I had never noticed it before.

Very good

The meal my family and I had at this restaurant was good. However, they didn't come around to fill up our water glasses and it was strange playing Spanish music in a French restaurant. Still it's a good place to eat and it does have wi-fi. Just ask.

We had dinner and breakfast at this restaurant because it was near our hotel. The dinner was very good the pasta with smoked duck and the profiteroles were very tasty. We found this by accident our first evening in Quebec, for which we had not made plans. Great place to watch the bike race plus good food

A very typical French bistro. We had lunch here as a break from walking the old city and watching the bike race. The steak frites were excellent as was the plate of chipolatas and frites. And we could watch the bike race going on outside and on the TV.

Good food grumpy service

My husband and I and our 17-year old daughter stopped at this restaurant our first evening in Quebec City because it was fairly close to the hotel. What a mistake that was! Warm and Homely

Calamari was seared to perfection and the Suisse Pizza well balanced; to try something different, ordered the half titre of the house wine which turned out to be drinkable. On a cold and rainy evening we found this place, warm friendly and very enjoyable; the made us feel at home.

Hit or miss

My meal the osco bucco was great. House wine by the glass is nicely priced. My friend, how ever ordered the lamb chops and the were awful. Bland and impossable to cut. She looked like she was using a saw just to get at the meat. Probably would not go again.

Interesting and eclectic atmosphere, great European French food

This place came on recommendation of a friend, so we decided to check it out. 2 plates of bacon &eggs and 2 plates of french toast.
I find that pricey for for this meal...and it was no better than a $4.95 breakfast special at a greasy spoon.

This is a pretty good restaurant adjacent to Hotel Le Vieux Quebec. Food is pretty good but tables are small and a little cramped.

I might be biased be forwarned

Having being a regular customer of Fréres de la Côte for over 15 years now my judgment may be biased ;). A friendly place where I ate each night

I went to eat at this restaurant for the second time. The prices are really good for this part of town and the food is excellent. I had a bouillabaise that left me astounded. The steak and fries was also very good. 5 thumbs up for this place.

Delicious baguette

We had lunch here during our trip to Quebec and both my wife and I ended up having a baguette with smoked salmon, cream cheese, and capers. The meal was delicious and the service was very quick. Very reasonably priced too.
