Inexpensive and chic establishment that lets you bring your own wine.

Exceeded my expectations. Noisy and chaotic environment, a bit like bring on the set of Hell's Kitchen. Restaurant is open, airy and beautifully sunlit. Service was about whet you'd expect from stressed out apprentices. My bavette looked like it was run over by an Abrams tank; they must have used some kind of mechanical tenderizer on it. The result was tender but ugly. Seafood pasta was fine,... more

Don't confuse this restaurant with the others, each has different decor, different chefs and different menu.L'academie shouldn't be considered a franchise. Now as for L'academie St Denis, I can safely tell you that from my past experiences with the restaurant, that it is not good at all(from a food standpoint)If you guys want good food, go to l'Academie Brossard

Was dissapointed when suggested "Baby Back Ribs" turned out to be "Boeuf Braisé" and VERY fatty. I don't usually mind fatty meats, but this was too much.

Horrible food, bad service and long waits. This is the reason why i stay away from franchised restuarants.

It was ok. Nothing special except the décor...although the dessert cart had a tasty yield.

I don't get this restaurant. We live around the corner and eat out alot. This place is always packed. So, we tried it out a few months ago and were really unimpresed. Not only was the food diappointing, but we were also given a time limit on our dinner...not my idea of fun. We tried again a few weeks ago for lunch, hoping that we had a bad night the last time, but still nothing much to impress... more
