Typical Frenchman restaurant... all you see are a bunch of Quebecers thinking that it's the best food on the planet!!!
Always a good choice, but remember to bring your own wine because they don't sell any. No corkage fee. Well prepared basic Greek food. And they will accommodate special requests, like no rice or potatoes but more salad.
This place was ok. Seemed busy. Found out after the fact that you can bring your own alcohol, but can't order from the restaurant. It also ended up being kind of expensive. By the time you add on a Greek salad and dessert it ends up being an expensive place to eat.
Stay away from this restaurant very rude, no class and if you are making a reservation and once at the restaurant, they will not even have your name on the list. So you lost your table this happened too me 2 times. No proper customer support.
The VD charges $7.00 to share a plate. WHY? The portions they serve are large, But there's no way that us Seniors can eat that much. So my wife and I always share a plate where ever we go. News Flash = stomachs of Seniors shrink as we get older. Why punish us with an extra charge? Maybe the extra... plus
This restaurant of the Au Vieux Duluth chain (which was a Nickles before) delivers of good food with a nice atmosphere at a good prize.
The staff are courteous and will make your evening enjoyable.
It's to be noted that this restaurant is near retirement buildings and that a lot of elderly people eat there. The service remains top notch...

You can bring your own wine. Plates are full. Family atmosphere
We visited few of Au vieux Duluth in Quebec. Food is good, Ambiance sometime noisy.
Excellent family restaurant. Forget the romantic dinner with your lover...

Please, if you are visiting Montreal, do choose a different restaurant! This is the very basic Greek cuisine, and frankly, even if the food may be okay, it is not the best representation of what Montreal has to offer.
Always good for on budget outings bring your own wine
