We stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of July. Our room was lovely, with very updated furnishings, carpeting, decor, etc. There were plenty of plugs for all our chargers. Stayed here for five nights from end of Sept to beginning of October. The hotel was recently updated and staff was very friendly. The included breakfast and Wi-Fi was a nice bonus, however, for such a high end hotel, I was shocked to find that the vanity lights in the bathroom were completely out, and the toiletries in the room were used. A great place to stay in Vancouver - we enjoyed using this as a base to visit all areas of Vancouver City and found most things in walking distance (bearing in mind we had a 3 year old and 3 month old with us). It's not really a very big deal but breakfast is only served until 9am M-F which sometimes felt a little early to us.

Found the hotel front desk staff to be really helpful with directions, recommendations, etc. Hotel is pretty conveniently located--Granville Island, Gastown, Robson Street. Tons of choices for the breakfast with hot items changing every day, but you also have cereal, toast/bagels/muffins, and they actually had skim milk, which you don't find everywhere. Would recommend this hotel.

Very Nice Hotel in Vancouver

This is a nice hotel in a central and convenient part of downtown Vancouver. The hotel was clean and they make it easy for families to stay there. The staff was helpful, and the room was nice too. The breakfast buffet was also very good (many selections of hot and cold items), and was an added bonus that many other hotels do not offer. I recommend this hotel.

Breakfast could of been better could of had bacon, potatoes weren't seasoned other than that it was a decent stay.

The hotel was sufficient. Breakfast was very good. Front desk is understaffed and not very knowledgeable. I booked a king bed room and was told on arrival they didn't have one. I pressed and after about 20 minutes of head scratching I was given the room I had booked. Not the type of experience I expect from a Marriott branded hotel.

This hotel is very well appointed and well located. We could walk to Grandville Island (using the water taxi to cross the water) and to China town. The breakfast is awesome, it was a nice surprise. The facility includes fully equipped kitchen, work-out gym, and indoor pool, so you can arrange your trip upon your own needs. Be sure to carry your room key in order to operate an elevator. This hotel met our needs perfectly. It was close enough to walk to everything, included a kitchenette, and had underground parking available for an extra fee. The room was neat and clean, the staff pleasant. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay

Highly recommend this Residence Inn and as a Platinum member, I've stayed in a lot of Marriotts. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was excellent. Even had an indoor pool that the kids loved - got their energy out. Hotel was nicely remodeled and I would definitely stay there again. Just wish I could have received reward points for my stay.

This hotel is conveniently located in downtown Vancouver.It is an older building, but has been recently remodeled.We had a large room with an over-sized bath. Breakfast is included and is cooked fresh with many choices.The only negative is the parking which was $19/day, but standard for a downtown hotel and probably less than some others.We would go back again.

Pretty disappointed to find out that my view was of a trashbin sitting on the scaffolding outside of my window. Also both the pool and the gym were closed, and they were offering free use of another pool which was a 15 minute drive away to which they weren't providing transportation.

Under Construction

The hotel was wrappend in a green net. Loud construction work was going on from 8am to 5pm. The gym was just a regular hotel room with two training units. The pool was offsite - a ten minute walk. None of this was announced before the arrival and there was no discount.

Good location at a great price

The hotel is located on Hornby within walking distance of downtown Vancouver and Granville Island. Some outside renovation was going on, but did not disturb at all. Hotel provides a great breakfast included in the price and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed there for 10 days.

I usually don't bother reviewing hotels, as the vast majority are completely interchangeable. This place though really went above and beyond, best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel...The entire place had an air of quality, had a good night at a reasonable rate. The hotel was very clean and the personnel very personabe. However, the $25.00 per day parking was outrageous.

Overall nice stay

Nice place and can't beat the location and price for the Davie neighborhood. The rooms are a bit noisy from outside cars ect and from the club next door that lets out in the a.m. The complementary breakfast was awesome.

Friendly Suite Hotel

Vancouver Downtown is a City where everywhere is within walking distance. While the location of the Concordia Suites wasn't particularly central it was within walking distance of everywhere, reasonably close to the Canada Line Roundhouse Station with bus stops just around corner on Davie Street.

Very efficient and friendly staff providing a first-class service with personal touch. Spotless room. Breakfast was plentiful. Very convenient location – just a short pleasant walk from all main downtown attractions. The sightseeing trolley also stops in the front of the hotel.

Cascadia Hotel and Suites

We stayed at the Cascadia on our first trip to Vancouver. The hotel is close to the West End, Yale Town, and Granville Island, so there are lots of interesting restaurants and shops in walking distance. It's a longer walk to Chinatown and the cruise ship area, but Vancouver is a very walkable city. The rooms were nice-clean, quiet, nothing fancy but very doable. Good value for the money.

Sightseeing in city last visited in 1965. Love the greenry. Hotel not in the usual waterfront tourist area. Very quiet in the room. Breakfast outstanding with excellent staffing of the room.

The cleaning staff tries to get in too early, 9:30. The breakfast ends at 9:30 during the week. The room was good size. Large sofa, desk, two queen beds. Cascadia service is good but could be a bit more outgoing. We waited to check-in while it appeared that the manager could have stepped in to help. Other than that the location is very good an we enjoyed that we were able to have a very good breakfast there and not worry about where to take our 3 year old.

This was a great place to stay at a fantastic price. Price of the hotel was at least $100 less than surrounding places, and it featured a well-stocked hot breakfast buffet. Once we entered our room, we heard nothing from the rooms or hallways around us, even though we were across the hall from the elevators. I would definitely stay here again; it is perfectly located and great value.

Vancouver Weekend

Breakfast was excellent. A local tour bus stopped right at the hotel. We met people from all over the world at the hotel, which added to the experience. When we reported that our room was too hot, it was fixed right away. Service at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Internet access in the lobby was an added benefit.

When checking in, front desk staff tried to do upgade to room with a charge rather aggressively.Not all the staff were friendly. Great pool and decent breakfast. Our "jr suite" was very small and had runs in the carpet. They also charged me directly for our stay...had to call the hotel and get that reversed....not very happy about that!

This hotel is in a great location, the hotel is in great shape, nice pool, nice spa, fantastic breakfast!! The rate of $94 plus tax was less than half the lowest rate Mariott could offer. Buffet breakfast was excellent, room had 2 queen sized beds which were comfortable, the shampoo and lotion very good. Satelite TV channel selection was good although the 27" TV could use an update to plasma or lcd.

I would not recommend this hotel. It is in a "sketchier" part of the city and it felt unwelcoming and depressing. This hotel is sorely in need of a makeover! There are much better value choices available in Vancouver.
