C'est l'endroit idéal pour relaxer dans le luxe.......
My husband and I have stayed at this location several times in Montreal. The staff are friendly and helpful, the service is great, the breakfast is amazing and the location is perfect..
Absolutely the best location. Handy little kitchen too. Clean comfortable room. Only a little problem of the housekeeper being rude
Perfetto!
Not only was the services offered by the hotel excellent, put the staff was extremely helpful in many aspects. Their professionalism was outstanding!
Easy check in and check out, clean and comfortable room, comfortable bed. The elevators were a little slow. It is a good hotel for everyone who does not want to spend too much on a hotel stay, but wants comfortable accommodations. The hotel is located in a close proximity to all major sightseeing attractions and shopping. There are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel.
Nice hotel. With facilities and free wifi and near diwntown and metro station
It's always a bit daunting when you book a hotel online, wondering if it will meet your expectations. I felt it exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spacious, staff friendly and accommodating. The breakfast offered a large variety of different foods. The staff seemed willing and ready to help you in any way that they could.
Reception should be Extended. Anyhow, staff available did his best. Room could be larger.
The staff were polite and welcoming. The room was clean and pleasant. The hotel is in a nice location. I would definitely go there again. Breakfast was very good. Many thanks.
Hotel was great, check-in was easy, plenty of garage parking, rooms were comfortable and the living rooms and kitchenettes were great. Hotel staff went out of their way to be helpful, and the complementary breakfast was a lot more than what you usually find! Hotel even let us keep our cars in the garage for the day of checkout until 5pm with no additional charge! The only point against it is... plus
Very nice. If you want reviews you need to make them short and sweet otherwise I pass.
We had a last minute travel and We booked this Hotel. We had a very good sojourn and the buffet breakfast was very good.
really enjoyed the trip, our first time to MONTREAL, we were EXCITED to be there as our son was having a ceremony for completing basic training the following weekend in St.Jean sur Richilieu, so we decided to make a week of it and take some time in Montreal, spend some time with him the weekend before the basic training ceremony, and see some of the things he had seen during his time in... plus
Very friendly reception personnel who made checking in and checking out a pleasure. Room was excellent, clean and the internet wifi worked perfectly. The location is superb, close to relatives in Westmount and within walking distance of downtown. Highly recommended.
This residence hotel has rooms with full kitchenettes, ample space, and pleasant lay outs. The kitchenettes have a full array of dishes, pots and pans, a microwave, and dishwasher. There are several quality supermarkets two or three blocks away, so I found myself preparing meals and making far greater use of the kitchenettte than I had expected. This was a hotel to which I enjoyed returning... plus
Our suite was large, well outfitted with the necessities and the breakfast was good with any choices provided. The rooms were clean and the hotel well maintained. Nice clean pool on the PH floor. The staff was excellent - very helpful. I would stay here again.
Once you get there, it is disaponting, the space of rooms and apartments are good. The staff are welcoming. But the building and the other service you get is not worted your hars working money. Just it is good for sleep.
The hotel is near downtown Montreal and Mount Royal, which made it easy to move around town. The staff were friendly. There was no parking at the hotel, we had to park a couple of blocks away, which was a bit inconvenient. The room was nice and spacious, with a full kitchen. Breakfast was a very complete buffet. Our main complaint, and I think most guests would agree, is that the elevators are... plus
Convinient, near the old montreal center, clean rooms, very nice .evevator little bit of a chalenger.
This hotel needs a renovation in the worst way. Rooms are dark and cramped. Gym and pool on the top floor are ok at best, at least they have a nice view. The two elevators in the hotel for all 20 floors are a joke!! You press the up button and the elevator stops to pick you up but then goes down, this happens on just about every elevator trip you end up going all the way to the top or... plus
Clean, pleasant place. It was great to have a little living room, kitchen and bedroom. Plus a balcony -- though it wasn't a place I'd hang out -- just cement and a leak from air conditioning, it was a nice touch. So helpful to have a fridge in the room, and the microwave popcorn on the table was a nice touch. The elevators were very slow in the morning, everyone had to squeeze in. If I stayed... plus
stayed one night, Hotel was clean and had all necessary amenities, but the wifi was little slow.
The room and hotel were very nice and clean. The pool was the perfect temperature and the staff was very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was a big bonus!
The lobby furniture was extremely old and dirty. Our first impression was that we had prepaid for a dump. I was depressed immediately. That all changed when we got to the room. The room was exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower didn't drain the first day but when I reported it the gentleman at the desk apologized and had it fixed immediately. The hotel is one block from the... plus
Staff was wonderful .. very accommodating and super attitude. Full free breakfast reminded us of European travel. Nice lounge areas. Balcony for the room was a treat. Only sticking point was the elevators .. there are two and they can use a third. Price/value was very good in comparison to other hotels we considered.
I stayed at this Marriott Residence Inn for 2 consecutive weeks while preparing my move to Montreal for a new job. I found the area, the room, the service excellent. Breakfast choices were generous, and there were surprising evening refreshments - various cheese choices on one night, hot dogs and oignon rings one night, soup and salad, hamburgers and fries.... plus
The subject line basically tells the story. The hotel is average overall. The rooms are nicely appointed with full kitchens. The pool on the top deck has a great view of downtown Montreal. They have 2 small elevators and we continually saw service people (maids, etc) using them. I will assume this means they don't have service elevators. Which in... plus
This was our second choice after Old Town but I'm glad we stayed here. The property is attractive and has the all-important kitchen. Yes, it may be smaller than other Residence Inns but it fit us perfectly. Upon check-in, the clerks were gracious and very helpful. We didn't get a gift or any upgrade as Gold Elite members but no... plus
The hotel is located near Concordia University in a fun, student-type neighborhood with lots of good restaurants (mostly noodle joints) nearby. The hotel has been fully renovated except for the inexcusably slow elevators. (That situation would be improved if the staff were asked to walk the one flight up from parking when coming to work and the laundry were taken... plus
I recently stayed for a night and was pleased to see the results of the renovation. The room was updated, functional, quiet and comfortable. Check in was easy with friendly staff, and the buffet breakfast was generous. Having stayed here many times before, and always used the parking garage I was familiar with the low roofline. However, this time I... plus
This is a fabulous choice in Montreal. While it's not in the heart of downtown, it's in a perfect location to take advantage of nearby shopping on St. Catherine, as well as restaurants/bars/ in the Crescent St. area. The hotel is on a quiet side street so there's no traffic noise.
The rooms are very comfortable and updated with a...

We spent a few nights at this hotel in April 2014. All in all, it was a disappointment to us all, for the following reasons:
- two bedroom suites with just one tiny bathroom which contained the toilets as well; for this type of accomodation, this was just plainly inappropriate, especially when there was a huge walk-in closet which served...

When I say a little far I mean that a little far. Old Montreal is one of the highlights of Montreal and the hotel is like a 10 min drive but a 45 minute walk (with lots to look at on the way and a very nice walk).

I stayed at this hotel during the weekend of a conference elsewhere, since i wanted to be close to certain places. Recently stayed for three nights with friends. Close to Atwater (shops, subway station) in a residential area. Beautiful view of Mount Royale. Very Quiet Hotel.
Other reviews have been spot on in terms of the elevator situation.

Great value (the two bedroom suite was huge).
View is incredible.
Nice having a full kitchen
Staff was extremely kind

Besides a wonderful city, this Residence Inn really added to the experience. You are within walking distance of entertainment, excellent restaurants, and the museums. It is a renovated property but it is comfortable and well kept. The bedding was firm, my favorite, and while the room was on the small side, it was perfect down to the small kitchen for... plus
A wonderful place to stay in Montreal. It is clean, close to metro, and restaurants. Breakfast buffet has a variety of choice. Staff is very friendly. The parking spot in the garage is tight. If your car is larger than a regular size sedan, you might want to consider parking somewhere else. Beds are not very comfortable, but bearable for a night or two.
Very pleased! The staff were excellent and very helpful, the breakfast was great, and the suite was super.I certainly will return!
This was the first time we brought our young kids to Montreal. Usually, we like to walk around everywhere so we wouldn't have considered this hotel before. Metro stations are nearby but we had the car so its location, in the west end, was not a big deal for us. On our last day, we did walk to the Fine... plus
This is our go to hotel when we visit our daughter in Montreal, very friendly atmosphere and awesome breakfast buffet everyday, just got back and looking forward to next trip! Minutes from Atwater Market and shops of St. Catherine's street and close to universities for visiting parents like us!
Only two elevators in a 20 story building, and one of them was broken. Very long waits. The tap water was undrinkable because it always stayed warm. The elevator buttons weren't grounded properly on the 5th floor and I got shocked every time I hit the button.
The staff were very friendly/helpful though, so kudos to them!
Really nice rooms, comfortable beds and couches, service was excellent. The hotel is really close to everything, I was very sick wasnt able to check out on time so the lovley front desk lady gave me a late c/o which I really needed. Thank you so much :D
We stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn -- Montreal Westmount in November and had a very positive experience. The location is excellent, but parking is severely limited. You have your choice of parking a couple blocks away in either a parking lot or indoor garage (they are in opposite directions from the hotel) and walking back. The staff is decent,... plus
Check-in couldn't have been simpler buy parking was a pain. Apparently the hotel lot (underground) is tiny and my grand caravan had to be parked up the hill, 4 blocks away in a public lot for $20/day... I would have appreciated clear instructions from the front desk... I mean they gave me a map to the parking lot but no indication that it was public, outdoor and needed to be paid for...

We stayed here for a few days while in Montreal and loved it. I had planned to use the kitchenette to make breakfast, but when I discovered the free morning buffet, it was no longer necessary. It was fantastic. Staff is nothing but friendly, full breakfast every morning, conveniently located near the metro, parking on site (unless you're like me and you have a big vehicle... in which case you'll have to make other arrangements). I loved everything about this hotel... except maybe the parking.

Me and my family stay at the Marriott every year we visit Montreal. Nice breakfast, ace views and comfortable beds. I love the ambience in the Residence Inn; a gym, swimming pool, lobby and large rooms. I would go close to a near five star if a buffed breakfast buffet and fixed taps. Lovely family hotel!
Great location on a quite street but close to shops and the metro. I would highly recommended this hotel, especially if you have some Category 1-4 certificates to use. Getting an upgrade was easy with elite status and the service was great. The hotel is old, but does not look dated. Would definitely go back again! We just had a small issue being charged for something erroneously, but a quick... plus

The literature in the hotel said they were celebrating their 10th anniversary. I assume the property was something else before because it looks dated through out.

This hotel meets Marriott standards. As it is a residence inn there are complete kitchen facilities available which gives the impression of a small apartment rather than an hotel suite. If you pick up food you can cook it and store it which is great if you want to eat in.

This seems to be favoured by workers who need long-stay accommodation and want to cook / eat in their room. It is not far from an area with cafes and restaurants, but none are visible from the front door. It has a canteen-like self-help restaurant providing decent breakfasts and functional other meals.
I've stayed at my fair share of Marriott locations (Platinum status, anyone?), and this has to be one of the best ones! We were greeted with a "Bonjour! This one ticked all the boxes:

It's a shame this hotel doesn't have more reviews etc. Probably because it is a hidden gem of sorts. I stayed two nights at this hotel and it was fairly nice for the price. The rooms were clean, its a fairly good location and there is a breakfast included. Stayed here a weekend in August 2013. Rooms were nice and clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. If you needed an extra blanket someone would bring it to you 5 minutes top. This hotel is a disaster. As a current gold and former platinum rewards member I've stayed in enough Marriott's to know this is way below their normal standard.

Nice hotel with a good location close to Metro Station, kitchen
Rooms are OK but bathroom could definitely be renovated as well as the windows which are difficult to open and close.
I was expecting better for a Marriott hotel
Close to the metro in a quieter area of Montreal. Rooms were good. Elevators were quite slow. Only two small elevators to accommodate all guests equaled a longer wait to reach your room.
Perfect location! 2 blocks from Metro, supermarket only a 5 minute walking distance. The breakfast is amazing, rooms very clean and the staff very friendly, would recommend! We are a family of 4, children 6 and 4. there is a pool on the top floor as well as a gym.
This is a decent hotel that is centrally located with plentiful breakfast, that's about it. When we arrived, late at night, there was one staff member available at the desk. This hotel is three blocks from a metro station and seven blocks from a lot of restaurants and bars. The rooms were wonderful and the pool and gym on the Penthouse were great for views. However, there were only two very slow elevators for the entire hotel. Walk up the stairs when you can.
One of the best places for a reasonable stay in Montreal. It is very clean, great staff, and also has self parking. The location is right near the old forum, and at the beginning of downtown. The restaurant makes a nice breakfast as well.
I love this hotel! The breakfast is fabulous. The rooms are clean and intuitive. The kitchenette is very helpful for when you want a break from restaraunt meals, and there is a Metro just across the street. Remember to bring your bathing suit and workout wear!
Love, love, love this hotel! It may be a bit old, but the location, staff, cleanliness, breakfast and all else was great!
It's apparent that the management of this hotel is very talented.

I had long-term stays at this hotel off and on for about two years. I was normally checked in for several weeks at a time, and it's the only hotel I'll stay at in Montreal.

We went to Montreal on a Wednesday night after skiing for 3 days in Mont Tremblant. The hotel is about two subway stops away from the major bar scene. Yet, this is not a problem because cabs are inexpensive. The staff was great, except the complimentary breakfast ended early (9am), and there was barely anything left around 8:30am.
The hotel itself is pretty clean. You get a good breakfast buffet with your stay. The hotel is also pretty close to St. Catherine Street where a lot of the action is, so it's in a good location. My only 2 complaints about the hotel are:

This place has a great location and fantastic amenities. The rooms are spacious and you can easily fit many people into a room for a party.

I've stayed here twice and both times had good experience. The room was basic, but clean, with a full small kitchen. Staff was extremely friendly & helpful. Great selection of rooms when travelling with a family. I believe this was converted from what used to be an apartment building. It is in a quiet neighborhood of Westmount, but close enough to Sherbrooke so that I was able to walk to and from the Ritz Carlton for my uncles wedding.

“In short, a fantastic experience. Hotel was luxurious, I was also surprised about the size of the room-it was large and spacious and had a wonderful large balcony as well. Hotel staff were more than helpful, offered exquisite customer service. Overall, great deal-will certainly recommend it to friends and family and will personally use it again.”
“The staff gave us a corner suite for no extra charge. Great bedding & pillows-it was like sleeping on a cloud. The complimentary breakfast was very nice.”
“The hotel was above my expectations for a 2 star hotel, and it was better than any other Residence Inn that I have previously stayed in. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was clean/semi elegant, the kitchen was not the greatest, but I did not use it or intend on using it. The lobby makes for a great gathering place; it's chic and it has a see-through fireplace.”

Complimentary breakfast is extensive and will please all appetites- the "make-your-own" waffles are a treat. Parking is reasonably priced and so easy to access at all hours (day or night).”
“Very nice hotel. The room we got had a full kitchen, so we felt we got a little more than we bargained for. The room also had a balcony, but it felt kind of unsafe. So we didn't really use it.
