Great for business lunch

I have tried this place several times with friends or business associates. It is a good place for reasons like that, not sure how it looks for romantic dinners in the evenings (probably as good). The servers are friendly and have the right attitude where your client would feel cozy and important.

Great table to have a business lunch where you feel like your own little world. Great choices to meet anyone's desires.

It was a wonderful lunch with delicious food and a server that was stupendous! Taylor made the visit. She was fast, courteous, and was such a lovely person - she really brightened the day and made the experience. three thumbs for her!!! :)

Redwater is one of the best!

I love Redwater Grill. The food is divine! The wine is awesome and the atmosphere is elegant. I recommend this restaurant to all my friends and our company dines here frequently.

Great lunch.

I had the Turkey & Provalone sandwich with a glass of Gewurtztraminer and it was absolutely delicious. My lunch partner had the Salmon sandwich with a Chardonnay. It was equally delicious.

Great food

I had the salmon with quinoa & it was delicious! The salmon was crusty on top & tender in the middle. Perfect! My friend had the tomato & cheese salad & she loved it, too!

Service was great. Our server was awesome. She was very attentive, provided informed advice on menu selections. Had a great time. Will be back. Enjoyed the Strawberry Kale salad, very yummy!

Nice Quiet Experience

The restaurant wasn't busy on Saturday night, so the atmosphere was quiet and serene. Andrew did a great job taking care of us. I definitely recommend this place. It's a gem.

Business lunch

Redwater is a regular choice for a business lunch destination as well as family dinners and an evening out with my partner.

Very Disappointed

Lunch started with my drink being served in a glass which still had lipstick on it from a previous customer. I ordered a salad with steak and with no cheese. The salad came with cheese. After a long wait. the returned salad came back with fresh greens but the same meat - which still had cheese on it. A definite warning sign for those with cheese allergies. Great Meal

We went to this restaurant with a group of people on Tuesday evening. The service was great, and Andrew did a splendid job providing service. We all enjoyed the meal very much, and left very satisfied. It was the first time at the Redwater Grill for the other 4 people in our group, and they said they would definitely return.

Another Great Dining Experience

We enjoyed another great dining experience at this restaurant. Andrew took good care of us and Becca delivered a special treat that made us feel quite at home. We enjoy this restaurant and highly recommend it. The food is great, but the service is outstanding.

Outstanding food

The angus roast beef boneless rib was spectacular. It was juicy and tender and the vegetable accompaniment was prepared very well. Overall a great meal with a great price. The bison burger was also a great pick. The waitress was also very friendly and the atmosphere was baby friendly

Once we got seated at our table we had to wait a long time before we finally flagged someone down for menus.
The chairs in the area inside but by the patio just before you got in are terrible and are in dire need of fixing. My lunch companion and I sat down and nearly fell through the chair. Was uncomfortable for the whole time I was there.

Value for the money?

No doubt, the service is great and so is the food, but the portions seem small and it is quite pricey. If you don't mind paying $20 for a small bowl of pasta or salad, I would recommend the restaurant.

Kale Citrus Salad was horrible

My sister and I ordered the Kale Citrus salad... it was just a chopped bunch of kale with oil on it Very disappointing.

Great Experience

Another great experience for us at this restaurant. Jessie did a great job with our service, and it was nice to have a visit from Rebecca and Andrew. They make us feel right at home. Food was excellent, too!

Little loud

Was seated in the Bar area which was VERY noisy. Next time would ask to be seasted arond the corner.

Lunch at the Redwater Grille

I had a lunch meeting at the Rustic Redwater Grill in Bow Valley Square and the service was great. It was 1 o'clock and they ad run out of the menu item tat I had picked but I went with lasagna and it was great. One fellow had a salad ad the other a noodle dish. The waitress was great and very attentive. She even joked around with us and fixed our rocking horse table herself.

Server was very rude to our Asian friend with heavy accent. Food was ok.

Too loud and slow service

We luckily did not sit in the lounge. But the dinning room was just as noisey and the chairs need to have the seats refilled as I weigh 125 and still sunk too low and uncomfortable in them.

Great

First dinner on our holiday to Canada - really good lobster taco, steaks and Bison burger, perfect fries, good selection of wines by the glass, attentive service. Definitely recommend.

Decent and quick

Had a great lunch meeting at Redwater. The food was tasty and arrived quickly. Our waitress, Toni, was friendly and informative. Be sure to arrive a little earlier for lunch or you probably won't get a table. (That fact speaks for itself!)

We went here with my sister and her husband. 3 of us had steak and my sister had the tuna. The steaks were done perfectly as was the tuna. Our waiter Andrew was excellent. The ambiance is nice and relaxing

Great Lunch Occasion

Redwater on 6th Avenue is a great place to get away from the downtown hussle and relax in a great setting. Food was great and the service tip-top.

Overpriced but worth the indulgence

We came here as a group celebrating 2 birthdays. The menu and wine prices are high compared to other restaurants of the same caliber, but worth it for a celebration. Great lunch service - will be back!

It was our first time to visit this downtown location and we were not disappointed. My friend who eats gluten free enjoyed her food and the service was good. If we wouldn't have to go back to work, we could have easily gotten wine from their extensive list but mauve we can do that sometime soon!

Consistently Good

I have found Redwater to be consistently good with their food and service. The pricing is mid range. I am a particular diner and Redwater is my standard "go to" where I know what to expect.

Great Service!

The service we received at Redwater during our lunch was excellent! Right from the greeting at the door we were made to feel welcome. Ruby, our server, was an absolute darling and the other wait staff were very efficient in ensuring the dirty dishes were removed quickly and our needs were met. The food was great with lots of selection on the menu and the portion are more than adequate.

Consistently good

Back again to Red Water where the food is consistently good and the service is better than the majority of places downtown. This is my go-to place in the downtown core.

Perfect for a quick work lunch

Great for a work lunch, but make reservations far in advance. It can be hard to get a table at lunch time without a reservation. The beet salad is the best!

Great Dinner - even when on a Detox

My husband and I decided to dine at the Redwater Bow Valley location for a well deserved meal out 10 days into our detox. We were able to enjoy the salmon/vegetable dish - it was superb - we wanted to lick our plates!

I love beets but wasn't quite sure it would be enough to keep me going through the day so added prawns. Not required at all. The noise level is my only issue....it is hard to hear what people are saying with all the noise in the restaurant. When the whole purpose of the lunch is to either discuss buiness or visit on a personal level, you want to hear what is being spoken about.

Decent

This restaurant never really blows me away, but was here again for a quick business lunch the other day given it's location. The club sandwhich was decent, and the side soup pretty tasty. The service was with a smile and pretty effective for the most part. I'll likely dine here again (lunch only) but it's never at the top of my list due to the generally average experience overall.

Favorite Lunch Spot Downtown

This is one of my favorite places to dine downtown. I love coming here for birthday or small work lunches as the food is always fantastic. Excellent Food

My family and I celebrated my graduation with dinner at the Redwater. It was a very enjoyable experience. I ordered the 6oz tenderloin and it was superb. The chimichurri sauce complemented it nicely and it was cooked to perfection.
Service was prompt and friendly, and dessert was fantastic as well. I would recommend the carrot cake. Yum!

I took a group of 20 people to this restaurant for a business dinner and could not have been more impressed by the food or service. We visited on a business lunch and I found the flavours good, but not inspiring. My meal was the tuna ahi tartare and the Spolumbo's sausage flatbread. I was wistfully thinking of my seared tuna fillets at Escoba. Still the service here was impeccable.
