This hotel just few minutes away off downtown. Although the facilities are basic, the room was tidy up every day. The price was low with provision of free parking and wifi. If you have a car and have activities in downtown, this hotel is a good choice.

Definitely is not the best Ramada I've stayed at. This particular Ramada is old and needs to be renovated as everything looks, feels and smells old. Good rates at a close to downtown location, but that's about it. If all you want is a decent bed to sleep for the night, then this hotel will do.

We were a little taken back by the outisde appearence but ended up being pleasantly surprised. The room was clean but a little on the small side but was clean & we were very comfy and enjoyed our stay. Originally we were not supposed to have a balacony but the very nice front desk clerk changed our room for us. The staff and outisde heated pool were awesome!

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived and upon leaving. The room was clean and quiet. The second night some guests were booked in next room to us and we could hear them talking quite clearly, but by 11 pm all was quiet. Had some problems trying to access WiFi on cell phone, but laptop was no problem. All in all, it was a decent hotel, comfortable stay, no problems.

This hotel is a great choice of stay as is very close to downtown Victoria and is reasonable. We paid $130/night during the high season (mid Aug 2014). The outdoor heated swimming pool was a delight. Our room was facing the back of the hotel which was very pleasant as it was quiet with the city and pool view. I absolutely recommend this hotel.

Overall good. There was one day the housekeeping was not up to par, the bed sheets were not tucked in, just spread over the pillows and the bathroom floor not vacuumed. This is peak season so the price was reasonable. Outdoor pool was attractive but too busy in the evenings.

It was a neat and clean hotel. Its a nice area to stay in close to downtown Victoria at affordable cost and far from downtown traffic and tourist volumes. The only drawback is that its next to the hospital but during our stay for 2 nights we did not hear any noise or hospital traffic. We had a good experience.

Great value for what I paid for room and as a business traveller I do appreciate when I can save costs on accomodation. New restaurant attached to hotel serves a fantastic breakfast and was convieniant to grab a bite before heading out on my business visits.

Room smelled like someone had smoked in it, would advise that they steam clean carpets and curtains to remove the smell.

Notre chambre adonnait sur le toit du 2ème étage: un genre de recouvrement très mal entretenu. Le balcon n'était pas propre. Nous avons demandé de changer le linge de vaisselle, mais le même linge nous a été remis, le matin suivant. Ordinaire de la part de la femme de chambre.

we had 5 rooms - family wedding in Victoria - lots of kids and noise but the staff was great and alloed us to have a great family visit by the pool

The staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. The hotel could use some renovations, but generally OK. Parking was fine and safe.

I did not have my Windham card with me and the front desk were not able to look up my number on their computer system...I find this odd in today's world. The fitness room was not well looked after. Hot, stuffy, and minimal equipment. Could use fans, etc.

When we cancelled the two following nights staff was good about it; no additional fee was charged.

we obviously were put in the older part of the hotel which was very run down, beds were uncomfortable. There was a large portable air conditioner stuck in the corner which was very LOUD.

The receptionist stated that my reservation does not show up on their
computer. This placed the burden on me to prove that I had made thru
booking.com. I had to produce document to support my reservation. Though
the official check in was 1500 hrs. The room was not ready for move in
even at 1715 hrs. Because the maid service was running late!

Excellent for the price

We were staying in Vancouver and wanted to spend more than a day in Victoria so we looked for a hotel and this one was great. The balcony was dirty, but we had no desire to go outside anyway. Good price and the staff helped us navigate the bus system and offer some great tips.

Pet-friendly comfortable hotel

We had a really nice weekend here. They welcomed our mid-sized dog, hotel is a short drive from downtown Victoria, and they're right on top of a comedy club that was quite fun. The area feels peaceful and reasonably quiet.

Great location. Close to everything.Friendly staff including housekeeping. Excellent staff re duties. Overall very clean and neat and comfortable. Restaurant food nothing to write home about. It was a little loud between the people in the halls in the early hours of the morning, the bar and liquor store out front seem to be quite the hangout for the teens, and the walls are thin.
