our stay was very short but room was good and staff was pretty friendly
Was overnight on a business trip with colleagues. We were treated by friendly, informative staff. We ate in the hotel restaurant where they food was very good and at good prices. The room was very clean and the kind size bed felt luxurious. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Quick check in, friendly service, good breakfast, had also a excellent dinner.
It was nice and comfortable and very clean - the staff were helpful - the breakfast was a nice added touch
Stayed here on a stopover from Stowe to Toronto. Clean hotel. Nicely renovated rooms and hallways. Good beds. Accomodated a family of 5 (rollaway bed).
Room was exceptional, clean and well appointed. Hotel staff was friendly and courteous. Everyone smiled and greeted us warmly. All around a great place to stay! Cheers!
PROS: Close to 401, stores & restaurants. Extremely clean. I personally liked the ceiling to floor windows. CONS: The information binder had no pages. Pillows were too soft (upon checkout I was informed I could have requested firmer pillows). Plug for the bath tub didn't work. If you're priority is cleanliness then this hotel is for you. If you want everything to be perfect, you should probably... more
Responsive staff, well kept facility. Reasonable fitness centre. Free breakfast is very good and fairly comprehensive. Bottled water was a nice touch. Comfortable bed & quiet despite being located on a main road.
But they accommodate us with the pets. The room was great.
Good night's sleep before driving to Montreal. Clean, quiet, friendly, good breakfast included.
While the pillows are fluffy and rooms look clean on the surface - I'm always itchin - I am in hotels always - generally stick to Hilton brands - never itchy (bugs?) pretty good area surrounded by food places Walmart and the bridge to USA (casino) if that tickles your fancy - no pun intended
We stayed one night at this hotel and I can not say enough good things about it. Very clean and very nice place. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was excellent and way more than i expected. Stay here for sure!!!! Will be back again.
We picked Ramada since we tried it last time when we travelled to London. It was nice, quiet, in a good location and the price was okay. It was $95 in the London trip. It was on a Saturday night. This time the price was $150. I thought the price might have been high due to it was a long... more
We stayed here on our way to and from Waterloo, Ontario. I cannot say anything negative about the Ramada. We arrived exhausted and very late each time and had asked for a quiet room. They gave us room 208 and it was perfect. I would really like to know what type of beds and pillows they use because we both... more
Stayed two nights at the Ramada Inn in Cornwall Ontario. Choice of several room types depending on the amenities you want. Swimming pool, Work out room. Excellent in house Dining Restaurant with a good menu selection.
Would highly recommend this place to stay while visiting the Cornwall area.
What a great place for a retreat. The last weekend of July 70 people from Eastern Ontario and Quebec gathered at the Ramada Cornwall for a weekend retreat. It was a "home away from home" experience. Management and staff were courteous and very helpful. Every one of our needs were met with a smile. The rooms were spacious and clean.... more
Yes, the hallway carpet could use a touch up in some spots. A vacuum along the baseboards in our room could be done. However, it did not take away from the overall cleanliness of our suite. Easy check in. we used the hot tub and pool twice. Ate at the restaurant. Lots of food and reasonably priced. I had roast... more
Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights to attend a wedding. The wedding reception was held at this hotel so we chose to stay here with all of the other "out of town" guests.
We had a regular room with a King bed. The room appeared to be recently renovated with new furnishings. The bathroom was clean and also updated...

The linens were all white with no nasty top blanket on the bed so I got a great night sleep knowing it was clean! The hotel is older but the room was upgraded and had new carpets, a nice large bathroom with a wicked shower head with many spray options. The shower curtain was clean and the curtain rod was... more
Great hotel, never spent the night in Cornwall before for business, I usually head back to Ottawa. Next time I'm in town I would not hesitate to stay here.
New carpeting should be near the top of your "to do" list.
Good hotel, polite stuff. if you need a rest - try to ask for some distance from event rooms. Usually it is possible to accommodate, but noise is not crazy
Comfortable and convenient to the conference center inside the hotel as well as to restaurants outside the hotel. The pool size is larger than other places I have been to. Although the room was nice, it was quite a walk distance from the lobby.
The breakfast was not up to par with comparable hotels we have stayed in during the past two weeks.
Very welcoming. The staff are very attentive to the needs of their guests.
Room was large and comfortable. Very comfy bed and great shower. Excellent value for the money.
Close to stores , the bridge and only a short drive to downtown. Most guest are just staying a night on a drive through the area. Its ok nothing to brag out. rooms are far from the front desk.
This hotel is a very good stop over in Cornwall. The overall experience is a cut above your average Hwy rest spot. It is a hotel you could spend a few days in as a "headquarters" for seeing this part of eastern Ontario, the St Lawrence river etc.
We had very good experience at the Ramada and will be sure to return.
Okay experience, older hotel that needs some work. However the staff were great.
The hotel was clean, staff was nice. This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel and both times the serve the free breakfast with small diner plates for bread.I had a plate for eggs a plate for potatoes a plate for toast, how inconvenient.Marc
People were very friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely. Bring your own bottle opener. We asked for one and received a 10 minute explanation of why they don't provide them anymore. The summary is that they were being stolen; but that someone can come to your room and lend you one as long as you give it back right away. We went for a wedding that was also in the hotel which was very nice.... more
Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean and room was comfortable.
We had a room with 2 queen beds facing an inner courtyard. The staff were all excellent-friendly and efficient. The hotel hallways could certainly use a touch-up, but the room was very good. We didn't use the pool. Breakfast was not great-basic continental flare with some sausages. We had to wait a long time for coffee-it seemed they could only... more
Hotel and staff were great but disappointed with the free breakfast as it was limited in choices and the coffee was terrible.
Nice stay at Ramada. Didn't appreciate the fifty dollar hold back on credit card. Actually never happened to me before. Room was clean with excellent view. Tv in first room didn't work. We had to pack up and move to another room. Not happy about that. Room was a bit pricey in comparison to other hotels.. All in all an ok stay
May 24th 2014 we stayed at the Ramada Inn in Cornwall, Ontario. Upon arrival the staff were very attentive and polite. The check in went smooth. The room was nice although the carpet did look worn and dated, the bed and bathrooms were very clean and fresh looking. The indoor pool and Hot tub were great and clean. The one... more
It was great, we've received a very good service. Very satisfied.
Went to a wedding and the party was at the hall of the hotel , great place to have the party and sleep at the same place
The hotel is two storeys and does not have an elevator. Only the front door is ramped. There are secondary doors closer to many guest rooms, however, there are curbs and a step at these making them impossible to use. If walking is difficult be aware the distance from the front door to many of the guest rooms is quite long. The breakfast buffet is set up on the bar making it impossible to access... more
Right from the first awesome greeting at the front desk to the crazy comfy bed. Great stopping point between my travels from the east coast back to Ontario. Awesome location with any shopping/dining needs all walking distance. Any additional travels in this direction will include a stop here.
My wife and i stayed with our one year old and four year old all weekend. The front desk staff were amazing and professional and had loads of information on the city, restaurants, parks, anything we asked for. The hotel left some to be desired, but mostly from the age factor. Hallways were musty, clearly very old carpets in the halls, but the rooms were very nice with updated beds and bathrooms.
Front desk clerk Penny was very helpful regarding computer and printing something out. Breakfast was delicious and meals were good. Staff was very friendly and nice. Kelsey's across the street was handy for meals.
The staff was very helpfull. It was my first time in Cornwall and the next time I return, I will certainly be staying at The Ramada. I take this opportunity to say THANK YOU .
Very pleasant experience, met our needs perfectly. Though I had expected the price to be a bit cheaper considering that its not in a huge metropolital area and that our stay was off season.
Pleasant and uneventful stay. Facility and staff were nice.
I was over on march 21 with my husband and our grand children, the refregerator was usefull since we brought some snacks for the kids, and they enjoyed themselves in the pool in the evening, the staff was very nice and everything was as we expected, We Will probably be back n'est year, for another great week end! Thank you,
The desk sevice was great, pool was wonderful (3-9 feet) the rooms are nice as well as the free hot and cold breakfast in the morning. Love the fact that they have a late check out for no extra cost. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Stayed for a week at the end of Feb 2014. The room was good, and the staff was great. Very friendly and attentive. The pool and sauna, and free breakfast were great features. The room was good, with a firm, comfortable bed and strong shower. If I stay in Cornwall again, I would definitely plan on staying at the Ramada.
This hotel was great!
We stayed with a 14 year old, a 4 year old, and an 8 month old on the 8th and 15th of March on our way to and from a ski holiday. We got a junior suite, which was on promotion for the same cost as a regular room. It was a great space with plenty...

For its price-point, this hotel deserves 5/5 on all rating categories. It's just not a "5 star hotel" so I rated 4s. Friendly helpful staff, very well maintained rooms, good incl. breakfast and nice pool and gym. Next time we pass through Cornwall for the night will absolutely stay here again. Not a problem for us but if you can't climb stairs, make sure you ask for a first floor room.
Had an excellent time. It was quiet and clean. Food in restaurant was good.
Congenial, helpful staff, clean room, Wi-Fi, central location
We stayed at the Ramada for one night only and it was a great family outing to celebrate the spring break. As we were from Quebec and the spring break for Ontario students is not at the same time we were lucky to have the pool and sauna to ourselves.
I recently stayed at the hotel for 10 weeks due to damage to my Condo apt. I had a junior suite that had everything I needed to make my stay very enjoyable & very well priced. It came with continental breakfast that was exceptionally good. Everyone at the Front desk was very friendly & made you feel welcome & at... more
I chose this hotel based on the reviews. When I arrived at the hotel, the lobby looked clean and modern, the front desk clerk was friendly and made check in quick and easy.

My husband and I just stayed here for 2 days and enjoyed it very much. The hotel is very reasonably priced and the staff was kind and courteous. Room service was quick also. We
have been here many times and have always enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
Conveniently located for a trip between Toronto and Montreal/Quebec City etc, this hotel is not the most fashionable but is very clean, has comfortable beds and very friendly staff. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality for the cost of the room.
This Hotel is a little dated, but the staff make up for it. Front desk staff are all very welcoming and friendly. Cleaning staff to an excellent job, and nice continental breakfast with hot items available and once again great staff.
I stopped in Cornwall as a natural break point in my recent road trip from Quebec City to Toronto and was thrilled with my stay here. The gentleman at the front desk was very adept and was able to accommodate my request of a quieter suite with no problem at all. The only room for improvement I would have to... more
Close to 401, friendly staff, kids enjoyed to pool.
My family of 4 stayed at this hotel before a hockey tournament, choosing it because there was an indoor pool for the kids. The lady checking us in and out was very pleasant, but other front desk staff were what I would describe as grumpy. The room was spacious and clean, the pool was warm and the hot tub was hot! Breakfast was included and consisted of boiled eggs and ham, three types of cold... more
We stayed overnight at the Ramada visiting family over Christmas. We were pleasantly surprised and the facility. The room was renovated recently -very modern bathroom clean and full of towels. Furniture was in good... more
This is our second visit to the Ramada, Cornwall in late December. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and the pool is great. The "free" breakfast is ample and with a good selection. Probably the biggest challenge is finding the entrance to the Ramada which is easier the second time.
Reservations are easy on line and...

My husband and I were driving from Toronto to New Brunswick and needed a break from our long drive for Christmas during the ice storm. We stayed 3 nights and had no troubles at all. Our room was clean and comfortable and we had fun in the pool, which was well kept. We stayed here with our 2 kids for 1 night before going onto Montreal. This hotel exceeded every expectation (except maybe the tater tots!). The pool and hot tub area is outstanding, warm and gorgeous! I'd come back just to relax for a night!
Main problem with this hotel is there is no elevator. It is only 2 floors, but if your room is on the second floor, you will need to carry you luggage up stairs. They did offer to call a porter if we wanted help with our luggage. They do offer free WiFi and it was pretty fast.

If it wasn't for the friendly staff, I would have rated this hotel below average. The continental breakfast was by far the worst I have ever had at any hotel. I tried... more
We were greeted with a cheery "Hi, folks!" upon our arrival and encouraged to use the pool while we waited for a room on the ground floor to be tidied up. I rated it average against chain hotels. From my quick pass through Cornwall, it might be better than average. The hotel is dated, probably 20 years old at least. My wife and I have stayed here 3 times. The hotel is now fully renovated. It has a lot of good things about it including a reasonable set of exercise equipment, a large indoor pool, and a free continental breakfast (I really don't eat anything, but the coffee is passable).
