Nice hotel but beds were not comfortable

The hotel itself was quite nice, clean and the hot buffet breakfast was an added bonus. Unfortunately, I did not like the beds they have, can't remember the name of them, but they are the "air" mattresses. It was difficult to find a setting that seemed really good and even though by the second night I was used to it, I would definitely not want to share a bed with this feature. Nice clean hotel

I found that this hotel was all pros and no cons. Clean, comfortable room, quiet, friendly staff, easy access to the highway.

Convenient location

We were welcomed right away, friendly smiles. The staff went out of their way to print off directions to our next stop, suggested places to eat. Meals and proximity

There are very, very good restaurants almost on-site and across the road. Proximity to major provincial highways and local highways are excellent.

This hotel was very good value. The staff was very helpful - excellent service. House cleaning staff were also personable. We were there for a two-night stay.

Great location across from Charcoal Steakhouse

We were greeted professionally and warmly. Our room was changed to 2 queens rather than a king which was just fine with us and we were given with 2 free hot buffet breakfasts. Our breakfast was delicious.Also had a room service request which was met promptly. No surprises... a delightful stay. This was our 3rd visit.

Good hotel for business travel, well located

Excellent Hotel Service

a very nice hotel

No complaints other than a wireless phone that would have been promptly thrown out the window by Steve Jobs. There is also a wired phone which worked just fine.

Disappointed on the animal floor/we had no animals

Staff very friendly... Nice breakfast..no pillowcases on pillows and placed on animal floor which had odor and noisy... We had no animals

Travelling through to pick up a relative

Left something in the hotel room and did not remember until we were long gone. It was still there and staff had kept it for us. Honest person who turned it in. The only problem was that our bottom sheet was old and rough.

Nice hotel, convenient location

The hotel was nice and the staff very courteous. Everything was clean and functional. The breakfast buffet was good but the selection somewhat limited. The only negative part of the experience was the "Sleep Number Bed" - possibly the worst mattress I have ever slept on. Would not chose this location again.

On duty Manager was borderline rude. She did not explain any amenities just handed us the key without any explanation. Wait time to be served was approximately 10 mins and she only offered to help when it was apparent that the other front desk clerk was going to be some time with his current guest.

Under construction, we had no notice of this, hard to park as they were painting the blacktop and lots of smokers hanging around the doorways ugh! Kinda of sketchy... But the room itself was great!

Kitchener BigMusicFest

Very much like Radisson hotels......Good, clean hotel chain at a decent price(albeit jacked up price for concert weekend, but don't they all!!). Staff were cordial, room was clean.......only issue was I booked a King Bed and ended up with 2 queen beds. Not a deal-breaker, but a bit disconcerting.

Close to restaurant and event

Enjoyed Martini's, and Del Dente. Both right by hotel. Hotel close to event we were attending. Cab easy to access. Room was comfortable and even though we were facing freeway , heard no road noise. Hotel was quiet, even though it was full and there was a soccer team staying there.

Location perfect so we could get to McLennan Park,

Everything was perfect and we are very pleased with everything. Reception was the best and thanks for everything, no problems what so ever.

Great hotel

The hotel was very well maintained. Staff were very accommodating and quick in their response to extra towels and toiletries. I would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed everything but the overcrowded elevators.

Enjoyed the pool, breakfast and the room. The overcrowded elevators Sat. evening and Sun. morning were very frustrating. The breakfast was crowded and could have been a little better stocked.

everything was great, I only get to stay in Kitchener for 3 nights per year for an annual 3 day regional convention. I so look forward to the stay. I hope the Radisson stays on my list for next year.

One night stay

Staff were pleasant and helpful, room was clean and breakfast was okay. Bed hardness was adjustable but never got it right. Nice restaurants next door. Good hotel for short stay and reasonably priced.

Convenient Location, Friendly Service, Great Room

The Radisson In Waterloo is a very comfortable place to stay. The room we had was spacious, had a bar fridge, good size bathroom and a king bed. The hotel offers a small pool and a fitness centre which we did not have time to use. If travelling with kids it would be perfect. The hotel offers a breakfast from 6:30am to 11:30 am. Business trip

First trip to Kitchener for business. Hotel was clean, and a free breakfast every morning. At night the steakhouse next store was very good. Can walk from the hotel. Parking was very easy as well.

Hotel was clean, bedrooms and entire hotel. The beds are Sleep Number Beds, so you can adjust your comfort of the bed. I was going to Centre in the square and it was only 3.2 miles. Good Regular Hotel

It was clean, quiet, well kept. Parking was easy and free. Room was nice, slightly smaller than that in a Brampton Marriot (where we stayed the night before). Free Wi-Fi but no free breakfast. We would stay here again.

Nice hotel

It was good stay . Staff members are very cooperative. Competitive rates and good facilities.

The bed is loud

No matter how careful it just won't quite down. Location is good,pool is small but nice,I would recommend it to all travelers except those who need a very quite room for refresh say go to chess tournament the next day

Incidental Charge Surprise

The stay was good. Having three restaurants to choose from was great. The staff was friendly and polite. The Sleep Number beds are not very comfortable in my experience. I hope they are replaced soon. The only other issue was a $50.00 charge on my Visa by Radisson which I did not know about until reviewing my Visa bill. Everything was tidy and clean. The rooms were a little "older" looking. Near the shower some of the wallpaper was coming away from the wall so it looked a little tacky. The location of the hotel is excellent - close to 401, to mall and to Freeport Hospital. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Great location for access to getting around.

I enjoyed my stay here as I had stayed here prior. The only thing that would have been nice was to be made aware of the hotel renovation taking place that disrupted the breakfast service. The hotel had set up a temporary location which was okay, but not what I had expected. I think it should be standard that all hotels be required to post if there are renovations taking place in their facility.

I had confirmed a reservation made through Expedia with the hotel by telephone and was told that breakfast was included. On arrival I was told that breakfast was not included. The wait for one of the two elevators is enormous, we walked several times. Also in a room with 3 people we only got two fresh towels because they were short on towels, but brought some up after requesting it. Under Construction In a BIG way.

First off, it was almost impossible to find where to check in due to the construction going on in what we assume was the main lobby. This included breaking up the floor. The noise and dust made it impossible to think or safely breathe. To compensate the customer for this inconvenience some genius thought a piece of chocolate would be sufficient. Hotel met our expectations; please with the room and the location. "Sleep # Beds" were not worth the upgrade. They had been well used and were difficult to adjust.

Nice quiet stay!

Check in was easy and staff was very helpful and polite. Hotel is quiet and has good parking. We had a later flight and the hotel gave us a late check-out without any extra cost or hassle.....not many hotels will offer this service.

my 2nd evaluation due book this hotel earlier before i stay for the 1st time. as said wud have given them a 5 star if only breakfast provided.anyway, good value as there is not so many good hotels in kitchener area.

Rooms were big enough, but our room was a bit too cramped because there were 2 queen sized beds in it so each bed had one side that was too close to the wall.
