Awful not worth the money

Firstly, the room was not even IN the hotel itself. It was in a tiny building. Secondly, the room was freezing cold..and would not warm up. Thirdly, the shower was broken. It was overall a bad experience. My family and I will not being staying there again. Very very disappointed. Wish I could have gotten a refund.

Enjoyed stay in Charlottetown

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Easy walking distance to downtown. Area north of hotel is not the nicest looking given the price but it was a quiet safe area. Breakfast included was ok but average quality. Hotel does not have a pool but offers free passestate to an absolutely fantastic pool about 3 km away at the University of Charlottetown.

Comfortable hotel within an easy walk to downtown

Comfortable and conveniently located close to downtown restaurants, shops and the waterfront. Front desk staff were welcoming and provided exceptional advice on where to eat. It was the best sleep of our entire vacation, even the kids agreed.

Had the worst service

The front desk clerk was very rude and unfriendly.., we asked to speak to manager and she never gave him the message.. Our tv was not working and as far as she was concern, it wasn't her problem... I will not recommend this hotel to anyone... Please have manager call me.., unacceptable service and treatment..,

Clean and comfortable.

Great Location, but....

Musty, smelly, overpriced King Suite with a soiled sofa and uncomfortable bed in one of their character homes. Horrible breakfast with bad atmosphere and unpleasant servers! Friendly front desk attendant and room cleaners! Great parking and only a Hop, skip and jump away from downtown! Other places must be better??

Big room, great location, good breakfast.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our suite. The bedroom had a king bed and TV while the living room had a comfortable recliner, pullout bed/sofa, TV, sink, bar fridge and microwave. got to hotel room was cancelled because of problem with credit card but we had conformation number. no one notified us no more rooms had to find other hotel never book thru this again . thanks for nothing

Great location, right in the down town!

A bit pricey, but we were there at the peak of tourist season and it is centrally located in Charlottetown, so it would be hard to do much better. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was large and comfortable. It was reasonably clean, and the only minor complaint we have is that the room could have been vacuumed better. All and all, it is a good hotel and we'd recommend it to others.

Great location, great stay

I arrived late, which wasn't a problem. The staff were very accomodating when I called to inform them of my late arrival. The room was great, very clean and comfortable. It took me a Minute to figure out how to work the TV but hey no big deal.

Convenient Location - Best Value for the Money

Best Staff' Award Winner

I estimate 2000+\- personal hotel stays. Though I forgot names, our receptionist was the most friendly, knowledgable, accommodating, confident, sincere, efficient and delightful young lady I've encountered! We like her. I suggested she could be the PEI Minister of Tourism.
The breakfast room lady was a great match. Oh, the hotel was nice too.

A great escape

I recently spent time at the Sutherland House and was beyond impressed ! It had everything I needed for a quick getaway vacation. It was comfortable and relaxing and allowed me to be well rested and refreshed! I will definitely return and definitely recommend staying here!

I am usually not going for Quality Inn but this one really has impressed me a lot by its nice and clean room - It had for sure all you like when you travel for business - Only down is the terrible breakfast and coffee but there's a Starbucks not far

Large comfortable room

This hotel got large rooms and the beds are very comfortable. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean, staff is courteous and internet is fine. With reasonably good breakfast definitely good value for money in a good location in Charlottetown.

This hotel is the cleanest I have ever stayed at. The owner and employees work very hard to accommodate your requests if at all possible. They really work on making sure your stay is so good that you will return on your next trip to the island.

This was a great stay.. we stayed 3 nights and hated to leave.. rooms out of this world.. staff made you feel like family.. and the breakfast (included was second to none) convenient to the whrarf and downtown area. cant wait to go back.

We had booked a suite - as we were 6 people - 3 adults and 3 children - when we were assigned the room - it was small with 2 double size beds. The front desk was helpful and polite about it. The stay here was wonderful. Stayed in the Holland Grove House, which was beautiful. The room looked like a step back in time. The bed and pillows was fabulous, I wanted to take them home lol. Highly recommend

Stayed at adjacent Sutherland House which was a restored building. Rooms were clean and bed was very comfortable. Receptionist upgraded us to a king size bed which was a pleasant surprise. A nights stay also included a continental breakfast. It was quite good...only thing I would recommend is to include decaf coffee. A very enjoyable experience!

Perfect location with friendly staff

Great location. It is two blocks off the main road and an easy 10 minute walk to all the cafes, restaurants and theater district but far enough away not to be noisy late at night. Very nice and friendly staff. Allowed motorcycle parking under the covered entrance. A fun place to stay. Restaurant for breakfast in the hotel.

Perfect place to stay in Charlottetown

The hotel has a main building and two "houses" on the property. I stayed on the third floor of a house. The room was huge and very comfortable. Everything was sparkling clean. The room had a couch and large TV too. The staff was very helpful. The hotel is about a 5 to 10 minute drive from the airport and close to the sites in Charlottetown.

If you are looking for a luxury hotel experience or a romantic getaway this is not it, but if you're looking for an affordable place that allows dogs, you could do worse. Two Comfortable Nights

This was a very affordable stay in down town Charlottetown during the height of tourist season. Ideally located, it is a nice walk down to the water front. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. My wife, two girls and I were very happy with our choice.

The room looked nice when we first arrived, the poster bed was charming. However, the bed was not comfy, and the rug was really dirty, it was hard to close the blinds for privacy and keeping the light out. The air conditioning was not even, it blew directly on one of the beds. Overall, just o.k.

Large comfortable room

There were three of us in one room. The beds were comfortable and there were enough pillows. There was a sofa and a round table with four comfortable chairs--perfect for lounging or playing cards. There was a kitchenette with a microwave oven and small refrigerator. The cupboard had glasses and cups and other basics. The location was very convenient to the Charlottetown sights.
