Smoke free, pet friendly Charlottetown PE hotels, Quality Inn and Suites Downtown offers meeting rooms and free wireless high-speed Internet in all rooms. This hotel is near Confederation Court Mall
Stayed here for a night on business. Enjoyable experience overall, although the first room I had #407 had a bad smell, but after a quick call I was given a choice of rooms and all was well. Good rate too, so long as you ask for the break on the first quoted rate.
Firstly, the room was not even IN the hotel itself. It was in a tiny building. Secondly, the room was freezing cold..and would not warm up. Thirdly, the shower was broken. It was overall a bad experience. My family and I will not being staying there again. Very very disappointed. Wish I could have gotten a refund.
The staff were friendly and the room was clean. They had a good breakfast. I would go again.
Walking distance to outdoor concert, restaurants and bars.
Arrived in PEI @ the hotel and was informed I would be staying @ a " Heritage House".Esthetically it looked nice.Had trouble sleeping do to the excessive noise of footsteps above the room.As well people travelling past the door frequently at night. The fan hooked up to the thermostat was very noisy and had have on due to humidity. The bed was so hard we had back pain for days .These rooms are not... more
Nice hotel, friendly staff. Easy walking distance to downtown. Area north of hotel is not the nicest looking given the price but it was a quiet safe area. Breakfast included was ok but average quality. Hotel does not have a pool but offers free passestate to an absolutely fantastic pool about 3 km away at the University of Charlottetown.
This hotel is in a great location, close to everything Charlottetown has to offer . The staff was friendly and the rooms were comfortable. For the price-it is a great value
Comfortable and conveniently located close to downtown restaurants, shops and the waterfront. Front desk staff were welcoming and provided exceptional advice on where to eat. It was the best sleep of our entire vacation, even the kids agreed.
The front desk clerk was very rude and unfriendly.., we asked to speak to manager and she never gave him the message.. Our tv was not working and as far as she was concern, it wasn't her problem... I will not recommend this hotel to anyone... Please have manager call me.., unacceptable service and treatment..,
Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Room was clean and comfortable. Location suited our needs. Free parking, Wi-Fi and hot buffet breakfast were a bonus.
Musty, smelly, overpriced King Suite with a soiled sofa and uncomfortable bed in one of their character homes. Horrible breakfast with bad atmosphere and unpleasant servers! Friendly front desk attendant and room cleaners! Great parking and only a Hop, skip and jump away from downtown! Other places must be better??
Very helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast. Would stay here again.
Room was very clean. The breakfast was a full breakfast. Hotel is quiet and friendly staff. I would stay again on my next visit to PEI
Great location! Short stroll to downtown core. Staff was friendly and quick to assist when needed.
Very close to all amenities in Charlottetown. Nice and clean. Good sized rooms.
We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our suite. The bedroom had a king bed and TV while the living room had a comfortable recliner, pullout bed/sofa, TV, sink, bar fridge and microwave. It was only a 10 minute walk to the waterfront, downtown attractions or restaurants. The included breakfast buffet was delicious. They also allowed dogs without any additional pet cleaning fee. Good... more
got to hotel room was cancelled because of problem with credit card but we had conformation number. no one notified us no more rooms had to find other hotel never book thru this again . thanks for nothing
A bit pricey, but we were there at the peak of tourist season and it is centrally located in Charlottetown, so it would be hard to do much better. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was large and comfortable. It was reasonably clean, and the only minor complaint we have is that the room could have been vacuumed better. All and all, it is a good hotel and we'd recommend it to others.
I arrived late, which wasn't a problem. The staff were very accomodating when I called to inform them of my late arrival. The room was great, very clean and comfortable. It took me a Minute to figure out how to work the TV but hey no big deal.
Central location. Walking distance to the theater and restaurants as well as downtown. Very reasonably priced with a decent included breakfast. The room was very clean.
I stayed at the Inn on the Hill during a recent conference trip to Charlottetown.
The staff are very friendly and helpful - this place is great value. I was in a recently updated comfy room with lots of space, free hot breakfast, and easy access to downtown. I got great advise on spots to visit and shop which was...

Stayed at the Quality Inn during the 2014 Boldly Forward Credit Union conference and really enjoyed my stay. Being a pillow person I was quite impressed with the four comfy pillow that adorned my bed :) Fun fact I found out half way through my stay is that the inn is actually built where the 'hanging hill' used to be... more
This will be our third trip this year, we have stayed here every year. The first time we stayed in the hotel and the room was large and well layed out, the second year we decided to try Southerland House and loved it even more although we were on the top floor. This year we will be in Southerland House... more
I estimate 2000+\- personal hotel stays. Though I forgot names, our receptionist was the most friendly, knowledgable, accommodating, confident, sincere, efficient and delightful young lady I've encountered! We like her. I suggested she could be the PEI Minister of Tourism.
The breakfast room lady was a great match. Oh, the hotel was nice too.
I recently spent time at the Sutherland House and was beyond impressed ! It had everything I needed for a quick getaway vacation. It was comfortable and relaxing and allowed me to be well rested and refreshed! I will definitely return and definitely recommend staying here!
My wife, and 2 young boys recently stayed in the Sutherland House with separate bedroom. Worked out very well for the boys' nap-time, as well as being able to stay up to watch TV without having to be super quiet. The gentleman at the desk was very professional, helpful and informative. We ordered room service which was quite timely and... more
On an "escape" night we stayed in a suite in one of the heritage homes, which included an electric fireplace, double Jacuzzi tub in an alcove, king size canopy bed. The escape was enhanced by how quiet the room and building were. We didn't hear a sound from outside or the other rooms, as if when we closed the door... more
Staff are always friendly and helpful. Rates are excellent and you can't beat the location. I love that it's in walking distance to the mall and some amazing restaurants. Great food and the rooms in the Sutherland House are especially beautiful. Love the updated amenities with the old world charm. Great destination for a special occasion. I've stayed many times... more
I am usually not going for Quality Inn but this one really has impressed me a lot by its nice and clean room - It had for sure all you like when you travel for business - Only down is the terrible breakfast and coffee but there's a Starbucks not far
This hotel got large rooms and the beds are very comfortable. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean, staff is courteous and internet is fine. With reasonably good breakfast definitely good value for money in a good location in Charlottetown.
We arrived to check in and were told we were not in the main building. We were a little disappointed until we realized we were in a heritage home on the property just across the parking lot. It was beautiful. A very large room with king bed and double jacuzzi in the main room. We rarely take a tub when... more
We recently stayed at Sutherland House, on the property of the hotel. The room was so clean, spacious, and bright with high ceilings, hardwood floors, fireplace and jacuzzi tub. Overall, a great value, unique and modern, and the staff were all very friendly. We have stayed in the main hotel before and have always been pleased with the cleanliness, service... more
It was disappointing since I booked a queen bed that there was none available in the main hotel. I was not interested in staying in the house at the back of the property.
My partner and i, chose Quality Inn as it is walking distance to downtown and Holland College .When we arrived the assistant manager very kindly upgraded us to a suite in
nearby Sullivan house; a restored historical home also on the property. My partner Sue has worked in the hotel industry and was super impressed with the service and the amazing...

This hotel is the cleanest I have ever stayed at. The owner and employees work very hard to accommodate your requests if at all possible. They really work on making sure your stay is so good that you will return on your next trip to the island.
We stayed here 2 times with our 6 month old son. Once in the building around back which is like an old house, we thought it was a great spot also they have a coin laundry service which was great for us. The hotel served up an amazing hot breakfast and the location is just a short walk to the... more
room was clean staff was very friendly food we enjoyed very much and good prices. we stayed in the holland grove building top floor. very nice and quiet it was our 26th wed anniversary. we will go back again. it was enjoyable.
We stayed at the Inn this past weekend, booked in for 2 nights. 17 of us, ranging in age from 2 to 70. We had lovely, clean rooms and everything we needed. With a group this large and so many children, we were afraid of disturbing others, but never a problem. Front desk staff had a constant smile on their... more
we want to rate the Quality Inn as an excellent place to stay. Room 211 is totally wheelchair accessible. There are very few hotels on this Island, whose rooms are totally wheelchair accessible. Comfortable place to stay, easy walking distance to tourist attractions, restaurants and pubs
I've stayed in MANY quality inns and their sister hotels and I have NEVER had such a horrible smelling room. I'm not sure if it is the cleaning product used or what but it is horrible. When expressed this was unacceptable the response... more
Everything was great, except upon check in we were informed there was a $100 deposit for the room which was never mentioned when making the reservations. Otherwise it was great. It is close to shops and restaurants downtown.
I was not expecting at all the quality and beauty of the rooms when we booked into a "chain hotel." Hold back any stereotypes you may have about mass hotels, this was amazing! Quaint historic buildings with romantic rooms, satisfying breakfasts and the best customer service we have had on the Island. Beyond that, although they do not have a... more
My husband and I took a daytrip from Halifax and only stayed here for one night.Had I known about their newer suites I would have booked.Would reccommend asking about those-unsure of difference in price.I wouldn't say we had the most comfortable nights rest. The beds and pillows were very hard-but some people do prefer a firm mattress. However only staying one night... more
I spent a lovely weekend in a suite in the Holland Grove building. I stayed for one night at this hotel and will return again. I love that there is a restaurant right on site. The food was good, and the complimentary hot breakfast was a great feature. Was in Charlottetown for two nights and chose this hotel to stay at. Very close and within walking distance to all kinds of activities. Restaurant at hotel was good. Breakfast which is complementay is also a great breakfast. Room that we had was comfortable and very clean. Would definitely return to this resort and would recommend it to others
This was a great stay.. we stayed 3 nights and hated to leave.. rooms out of this world.. staff made you feel like family.. and the breakfast (included was second to none) convenient to the whrarf and downtown area. cant wait to go back.
We enjoyed our stay on both our trip east and our return trip. The staff were helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
We had booked a suite - as we were 6 people - 3 adults and 3 children - when we were assigned the room - it was small with 2 double size beds. The front desk was helpful and polite about it. The breakfast was ok - food wasn't that warm or replenished very quickly. Overall it was clean and a nice stay - close to attractions.
We stayed in the Quality Inn & Suites on Euston street during a recent visit to PEI. While at this hotel we were directed to one of their adjoining properties the Holland Grove House. Stayed in the Holland Grove House. It was a nice spacious room with a king size bed. We had a kitchenette & a balcony with table & chairs. It was a nice room with hardwood floors & the bed was very comfy & fresh smelling.
A nice stay but I little pricey for for you actually get.
Travelled with my wife for a business stay over night. Great spot for an over-nighter. Very disappointed to see DISPOSABLE dishes and cutlery for the breakfast!
We stayed here for one night while visiting the tulip festival and will definitely stay here again ! The bathroom had unlimited hot water and there was strong water pressure in the shower. We ate... more
The breakfast left a lot to be desired, it was small and there weren't a lot of options for people who have to eat gluten-free, like myself. However, the kitchen staff offered to make me up some bacon, which was so nice of them. Still, I'd say calling it a 'buffet breakfast' is really overstating it. The rooms were clean, and we had the suite, which was spacious and suited our purposes... more

Stayed there a few time. Let say that last time I was not impressed. I always ask for a room far from elevator. I travel a lot for business and a great night sleep is a must. Well when I got there I was assigned a room next to exit door. Staff was nice enough to let me change room.... more

"Quality" is not a word I would use to describe this inn. This hotel consists of one very dated main building and two adjacent restored historic buildings (Sutherland House and Holland Grove). This hotel is close to the UPEI campus where the Atlantic Vet School is located. My dog was seen on an emergency basis and the hotel advertised itself as "pet-friendly" - NOT true. The hotel has a main building and two "houses" on the property. I stayed on the third floor of a house. The room was huge and very comfortable. Everything was sparkling clean. The room had a couch and large TV too. The staff was very helpful. The hotel is about a 5 to 10 minute drive from the airport and close to the sites in Charlottetown.
Satisfactory and conveniently located. The room was clean, large and had airco, which was nice. If you are looking for a luxury hotel experience or a romantic getaway this is not it, but if you're looking for an affordable place that allows dogs, you could do worse. If you would want to find fault with anything, it's the dog poo that was right in front of the entrance during our stay.... more
Good value for a moderate price. Spacious room with comfortable beds.
This was a very affordable stay in down town Charlottetown during the height of tourist season. Ideally located, it is a nice walk down to the water front. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. My wife, two girls and I were very happy with our choice.
Very bad especially for the price we paid. Poor customer service clerks. no pool and location not so good either. Room spelled like mould; we had to leave the window open.
Great little hotel. My room was in a separate quaint building but was totally modern. If you like baths, a place with deep tubs is a gem.
For the price, this hotel was great! Very clean and very conveniently located.
The room looked nice when we first arrived, the poster bed was charming. However, the bed was not comfy, and the rug was really dirty, it was hard to close the blinds for privacy and keeping the light out. The air conditioning was not even, it blew directly on one of the beds. Overall, just o.k.
There were three of us in one room. The beds were comfortable and there were enough pillows. There was a sofa and a round table with four comfortable chairs--perfect for lounging or playing cards. There was a kitchenette with a microwave oven and small refrigerator. The cupboard had glasses and cups and other basics. The location was very convenient to the Charlottetown sights.
The hotel was extremely pleasant, clean, and friendly. The rooms were spacious and nicely appointed.
