August 14, 2014Very welcoming hotel clean super friendly staff the restaurant has one of the best steak sandwhichs I definitely recommend it. Ashley was a very friendly and funny server at the ashleys grill made me feel very welcome. Im definitely gunna stay here again

Wonderful stay

Staff is very helpful and so friendly. Rooms were very clean, and extra amenities readily available.
Room service delivery time was quite short, equal to or shorter than an actual restaurant. Food from the in house grill is amazing. Best steak meals we have had for quite some time (including dinners at actual steakhouse restaurants). Would definitely stay here again.

April 04, 2014I had a wonderful stay at this refurbished Quality Inn.The service was excellent and very friendly staff. The steak sandwich is the best I have ever had, and the three course meal had good choices and is great value. I would stay gain on my next trip to Red Deer.

Dirty & smelly

Came from Quebec and stayed a night in this motel. Stay away. Staff not friendly,
rooms smell smoke and is dirty. Tried to move out but would not give my refund.

Just the threadbare basics
October 23, 2013The hotel is old and unkempt. There's a strong, nasty and unidentifiable odour throughout the property. The continental breakfast is not good. No hot water
June 05, 2013Stayed here in may-june, had no hot water for 2 full days. The problem was the fault of management, but the frontdesk staff were very good especially Joanna. She took the brunt of the complaints all night and tried to do the best she could.

Wouldn't be in my top 10
November 07, 2012The lady at the front counter wasn't helpful or cared about much. Glued to her phone. The room gives the impression of dingy, the heater kicks on but no warm air. And to top it off, the room smells awful. Wouldn't choose this place for a couple or family.

Surprised by the good reviews

Need Microwaves

I stayed at the Quality Inn one evening in late June. The hotel is dated, smells a little smoky, but wasn't a bad value for the money. There is TONS of free parking out front of the hotel, which is well lighted thanks to the massive advertising sign that lights up the night for miles.....

Hotel was renovated not that long ago, but still needs alot of work. Instead of renovating everything, they just did some stuff and left the ok old stuff resulting in visable problems in areas

The city was pretty booked up for the 2006 Summer Games and I reserved at the NHI after calling quite a few other places.
Checked in and the bathroom had mold around the tub, the taps in the tub were turned on slightly still and the taps were not at all clean. Makes you wonder if anything in the room...
