Will not stay there again

Room had a terrible smell. Front desk ignored us for several minutes when we were trying to check out. Other guests there were very sketchy. No decent dining choices till you walked across a highway to some chains that were mediocre. Cancelled our stay there for our return trip as we were very unhappy with the choice.

We were waken up by noise from air vent in the middle of the night. After searching, we found the noise is from a vent. People were talking, laughing and they were having a party at 2AM! We called the front desk to wait for them to settle. We called again and again in the next 30 minutes, finally two guys were sent to our room then they disappeared claiming to look for the source. One bed for three people

Hotel put me in to a room with one double bed despite booking for 3 people. They didn't have any rooms with two beds. Also wouldn't let me cancel reservation. I will avoid this hotel going forward.

Hotel close to visiting point

Difficult to locate, many speed bumps along the entrance way and room walls were paper thin. Bad night sleep

Convenient location from a family party we attende

The room was ok, but there was grape vines on the floor and the sink was not clean. It looked ok but when I went to rub off some powdered makeup I was using the dirt started to roll up in my fingers and I realized this sink is getting a quick wipe with a towel or something not a proper scrubbing. Wasn't impressed.

Barely a 3 star

We chose the hotel because of the location: right off the highway, access to amenities. The staff was friendly but the facilities itself falls flat: the funny insecticide smell in the hall way, and hair in the bath tub.

Staff was exceptionally helpful and efficient. Rooms were very clean and presentable. Close to a couple of restaurants with lots of parking. Well located at the east end of hamilton, unfortunately we in activities at the west end! But would highly recommend this property.

Convenient location to visit Niagara and Toronto.

This hotel was chosen as a nice place place between Toronto and Niagara Falls. Price was reasonable and hotel was well kept. There is plenty of free parking and freeways are really close by.

Excellent reno job!

All new furniture, carpets & lovely lemony painted walls. The beds were new & very comfortable. The staff was very pleasant & the included breakfast was delicious. My husband even enjoyed a second helping of scrambled egges. We like decaf coffee which was available & very fresh.

The rooms were nice and clean. The front desk receptionist Vanessa was exceptional and really made me feel welcome! Also the lady in the breakfast room was very pleasant and was keeping it clean and tidy. The breakfast room was a nice addition and well stocked with everything. Garbage stay with a garbage resolution

The hotel was kind of stuck into a weird little corner in behind a plaza and a bit difficult to find. Alright hotel.

The rooms where pretty decent for the price. One of two elevators was working. The location is next to a scrap yard and industral shops with no road access from main drag. The resturant attach had terrible food with a wait time of about 30 minutes for club sandwiches and a burger with fries. We where 2 of 4 people in resturant at the time. We probably wouldn't stay there again.

Exceptional Service

After travelling for 10 hours, it was nice to experience a quick and efficient check in. The continental breakfast was amazing, food was plenty, a lot of choices and taste good! Great, friendly staff!!!!!!

It was my second time staying here. For the price it is good. The room was extremely warm and was unable to adjust the heat. Had to turn on the A/C on a cold December day. Staff is very friendly and the overall cleanliness is good. I would stay there again.

Very reasonable rates wnoithing was too much trouble

Very reasonable rates included a satisfactory breakfast.. Staff were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Bit noisy when the hockey teams came in but nothing overly disturbing.
Very handy restaurant next door called Golden Griddle with lovely inexpensive meals. Again the staff were lovely and fridndly.

Recommended - Very good! Maybe difficult to locate, but once found a good place to stay.

Ok, considering the price. Fridge absent and the hotel could use some refreshing, especially getting rid of carpeting in rooms. Had to evacuate around midnight on Sunday night because of fire alarm, which turned out to be false; probable system malfunction. We did not hear one word of apology from the hotel staff for the incident.

The hotel was difficult to find where to turn in - we never did figure out where the driveway was leading to the front door. It is an older building and looks like it needs upgrades to furnishings, etc.

Stayed here for one night on a friend's recommendation - very nice sized, clean room and enjoyed the attached Golden Griddle for breakfast. Front desk was pleasant and helpful and we had a good night's sleep. Not a bad area at all. Would definitely come back.

this hotel is on the old side, but overall it is OK. The beds are comfortable, the front desk associate was very pleasant when we checked in. The only downside to it was the breakfast, I was a bit dissapointed that there were no omelettes for breakfast considering it was a Friday. I would come back if I had to.

Always spot on

This is a favourite whenever we visit Hamilton. It is not centrally located which is a good thing. At the same time, it is easy to get where you're going. Staff are nice, breakfast is good and rooms fit the bill, all at a decent price. We will be back.

We stayed at this hotel because it was a sponsored hotel for runners in the Hamilton Road2Hope marathon weekend. Our stay was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was adequate. Service was pleasant. Rooms were nice. Overall, exceeded my expectations.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at this hotel on the third week of October.
The lobby is nice - the room we had was well appointed and quite comfortable. Not much of a view but that was not the purpose of our stay anyway.

This hotel is very run down. Please see the pictures.. For the price go some place else. Wall paper peeling, tub over flow piece missing, grout missing from floor and wall in bathroom. Carpets dirty and mold on the door.

Smells very badly

The property had a strong urine odor while we were there. Other guests noticed this. Has items stolen from our car overnight. Not a pleasant stay. Would not recommend unless you need to be in the area. Other properties are nicer/cleaner/newer/cheaper.

Basic but OK

Only gripe I had here was that they could not provide a crib for my Grandson. Reception said they had only one in the entire hotel. So parents with young children should take note and bring a travel crib.
