The Museum also houses one of the finest fossil collections in Western Canada which is renowned for its scientific and research value. Great place to visit with your kids
August 02, 2014What a neat place to visit. So much to see and you could interact with the different models displayed of the Telephones and Morris Codes machines. The Gift Shop had everything you could think of Video upstair and showed the History of Qualicum Beach and Vancouver Island - and endtrance was by Donation. Would definitely go back with family!

Love to take the grandkids
July 19, 2014This was a pleasant hands on small museum to take your grandkids through. The displays are plentiful, many protected from little hands but available to learn about, there is an engine and power display outside with some hands on and again upstairs the children can learn and experience many of the past and history

Rich in local heritage
February 09, 2014Such a little gem! Discover the origins of the community that is now Qualicum Beach and see how the first residents lived and worked. So many interesting things to see in a relatively small space. Enjoyed the videos! Thank you!

Small but informative
February 07, 2014We stopped her for a couple of hours whilst doing some family research. The volunteers could not have been more courteous or helpful. And for such a small local museum, such a wealth of history and information - thank you!!

Great collection of ham radio gear
August 31, 2013A funky little museum well worth a visit. The brick powerhouse building has a great collection of radio equipment from spark coils to "modern" Heathkits; also the town's original diesel generator.

a must see
December 08, 2012a delightful treasure. Gives a true sense of this area as far back as pre dinosaur. Very informed and helpful staff
