Short menu -- not harbor fare, per se, but highly appealing
May 10, 2014If you have grown tired of fish and chips, then give this a try. It offers a creative Iberian-based menu. Indeed, tasteful options -- tapas and entrees -- that my party enjoyed (save for the salt cod). I had spaghetti and meatballs and I was really pleased with it. Quite simply --- recommended.

Great food in Halifax

I ate brunch at this restaurant in Halifax as I wandered in out if the rain. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Food was fantastic. Had the fish stew and the Portuguese sandwich. Portions were tasty and HUGE!

What a great find - we stumbled on this placeon friday night - I had low expectations, given past meals in Hali - good but not great...but was blown away. The space was dark and cozy with a full crowd on a friday night night...lots of energy and local vibe...definitely not a quiet or sleepy spot.

I had the Seafood Rice; can't remember the name of the stew my companion had but both were very delicious. We shared Avocado Creme Brulee for dessert, very different flavour but very good. October 20, 2012I've been here twice and look forward to returning. What we had of the Portuguese/Brazilian menu was different and delicious. I found the staff exceedingly friendly and helpful both times. Where we sat the atmosphere was intimate, warm and cozy. It took longer than average to get our food but it was worth the wait.

March 10, 2010I wasn't sure what to expect from Brazilian and Portuguese food, so I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors and spices. I tried the Portuguese-style pork medallions, which came with a nice fresh salad too. Including my drink, the whole lunch cost less than $11.
