easy to walk to VGH & one can do it as often as preferred / required
hotel was fine it was a little noisy being on the city side of the hotel. timmies and shoppers across the street. Starbucks just down the street
Location was great. Most importance to me was being close to the hospital. Location offered walking distance to almost anything a person would want/need to do. There were lots of good restaurants, shopping, walking, ext.
Needed a place to stay to attend a conference at BCCH. An easy bus ride away. Plenty of shopping and groceries in the vicinity. Easy to get to the ferries. Hotel fulfilled it's role as a place to sleep only.
Had a great time at the Park Inn while in Vancouver. Stayed for two weeks and it was pleasent and comfortable each night. Must mention the staff who are extremely polite, professional and love doing there jobs. Overall have no complaints. The only negatives however were the coffee maker which didn't work and the shower which was difficult to get working at times.
We had a 2 night stay at this hotel and for the most part enjoyed our time. It was very noisy but given the busy street one would expect noise.
Hotels in Vancouver in General are very expensive especially if you want one downtown so we had to pick one on Broadway. The good thing about this location was, it was a 20 min walk from Granville Island but was too far from downtown to walk. It was old, tired looking inside (peeling wallpaper), and had a window air conditioner that blew right on the bed next to it. The staff was lovely and... more
Amenities are plentiful, close proximity to the hospital (had a family emergency) and only a $25-30 cab ride from the airport. Some members of my family were uncertain of how long they needed to stay, and the staff worked hard to ensure they had rooms for them when they were sold out. Again, a solid 3 star and would stay there again if the need arises.
Our only problem was with an air conditioning unit blowing cold air at one bed. Unplugged it !
Overall a satisfactory stay. Bus stop right downstairs and Sky train 4 blocks away.
The room as very clean which is most important to me. The staff was courteous and very helpful. The kind lady at the front desk took a lot of time to explain all the nearby restaurants and the places we might enjoy in the city, including giving us a map and locating on the map where we could eat and enjoy the city. Much appreciated. I spoke with a lady from housekeeping in the hallway and she... more
Hotel very convenient location. Street view has amazing views of the mountain and city. Close to hospital so a big noisy, light sleeper should request back of hotel. Hotel a bit older, room was clean. Gentleman at front desk was fantastique, gave great recommendations, great knowledge of area.
Don't expect much in the terms of luxury. But if you want a clean bed and room for the night you can't go wrong for 90$. Showers lacked some water pressure so expect to take long showers, our hot water never ran out in our 2 showers. Nice and close to downtown and tim hortons. Perfect if your overnighting in nanaimo and driving in the morning.
Park Inn has an excellent location! We had a good time walking through the closed by park to Grandville Island. Public train is within a few blocks. We were able to go to the Waterfront !
Best location got the room with city view (you can see from Granville Island bridge to downtown in 1 glance. All different kind of food, medicine and grocery available in walk able distance. Transportation, subway as well as Taxi easy to reach :)
Our stay at the Park Inn & Suites by Radission in Broadway, Vancouver was good. Firstly, the location was excellent and secondly the staff at the hotel were very helpful.
Good value! Older property with nicely updated rooms. Clean. Quiet rooms face south to hospital; view rooms face Broadway; could be noisy, but have great city views, I would stay here again to avoid the crowded downtown area.
This hotel was perfect for our needs. Visiting family easy acess to public transportation . Rooms clean and quiet. Staff helpful.
We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. The room was very comfortable and clean. The view was, however, over a rental car return car park. We used the tea making facilities and brought in food for breakfast from nearby shops. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, as well as professional.
It was a very good experience in this hotel, excellent location and friendly staff.
The shower just about knocked me over but once i got my balance it was great. Some repairs needed here and there but over all it was ok.
The room was very comfortable and clean. Next stay we will ask for a room with a view as ours looked out onto the arthritis clinic. The hotel was very quiet even though it was full.
Have stayed at this hotel many times. Seems a bit run down.
Nice room and good location. It is on a main bus line and walking distance to the subway (skytrain as they call it) with easy access to downtown and airport. Their elevators were constantly out of service however which is real inconvenience when on the 6th floor.
While a little away from downtown everything you might need is close by. Good for just the overnight stay I required. Rooms clean and tidy and staff very helpfull
I would like to warn about two unusual hotel policies. First, they insisted in placing a 'preauthorization' charge of $50 per day on my credit card to cover incidentals. I know it is typical for hotels to request credit card information to cover possible incidentals, but I have never had a hotel place a 'preauthorization' charge for this. I have stayed at many hotels - including other Radisson... more
清潔で静か。 フロントの方の対応もよかったです。 やや、WIFIが遅いときがありましたが、そのほか問題ありません。
public transportation within walking distance, great city view
Stay anywhere else if your looking for comfort! I stay at a lot of hotels and this one was the worst. TV was terrible!! Constantly smells like smoke! This is an old hotel and It shows! I seriously considered sleeping on the floor
Walking distance from Canada Line along with easy access to a lot of restraunts in the area.
The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating and the location was close to the hospital. The seasonal rates for this hotel were much more affordable then other hotels close to the hospital at this time of year. We had been regulars at another hotel in the area but I will be switching to this hotel because of the comfort of the room and the affordability.
Sauberes Business Hotel in guter Lage. Sehr gut angebunden an Bus und Bahn. Schnell vom Flughafen erreichbar.
Well to begin with, we are certainly not used to driving in the big city of Vancouver and our GPS kept screwing us up. We were tired and thirsty and decided to call Park Inn. Spoke with a front agent by the name of Anita at the front desk. She was a life saver. She guided us right to the hotel ( even kept us on the cell phone) and even came out to direct us to the correct parking spot. If they... more
We picked this hotel partly for the free wifi. My husband had some work to check on and the kids were going to watch a show before bed. The wifi only worked by the hotel room door, so it was pretty useless. We complained and the girl said she would send maintanence up. Not sure how they would help but they didn't show. Another person told us to call tech support. The parking garage has signs... more
We needed a hotel close to the hospital and this one was perfect. Clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Elevator was under repair so only one was working which slowed things down but not too much of a bother.
The overall condition of the hotel was not acceptable. It needs upgrading. Bathrooms and overall condition of rooms were dowdy One elevator was under repair the entire time. Staff were pleasant
This hotel was right on the bus line and a short walk to the train station. The front desk staff was always helpful. Guests could access the computer in the lobby. There was a phone in the lobby dedicated to the local taxi service. My room was clean and housekeeping was very nice. When I had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door, they just slid a note under the door telling me to let them know if... more
The rooms were old and well used. The toilet made a horrible noise and would come on in the middle if the night. The beds were small ~ a double. Next time we will plan ahead and make sure we get a better hotel. There was only one elevator working and it was so slow.
We gave it all fours only because we only stayed there over night and did things with family who live in Vancouver. Didn't see hotel staff... people in reservation were courteous....room was clean...it was quiet. There was nothing to be unsatisfied about. Would totally stay there again.
Likes: location, near lots of restaurants room was relatively clean Dislike: fix the second elevator
My friend and I stay at the Park inn everytime we stay in Vancouver . We love the location and the service at the hotel . We like how the rooms have Fridge , microwave and coffee maker. It makes our stay a pleasure at the Park Inn . We love it . Service is great .
We enjoyed our stay overall.. But we had been flying for over twenty three hours. We arrived at the hotel at 10 am and had to wait till ONE PM TO ACCESS A ROOM. When we returned to wait in the reception area just after 12 noon no one told us our room was ready till we asked again. Generally however the hotel is value for money. Refurbishment is still going on and it seems it has for many many... more
Based on my experience staying at the hotel this time I will most definitely stay there again especially having hospital appointments . Staff were excellent, restaurant excellent, location excellent t.
Hotel staff polite & helpful. Restaurant very reasonable.
Although the room was clean & up to date, there was a musty smell to the room.
have stayed there in the past and will again. staff friendly, parking availability was awesome as well
Other than bad smell, and the fact that housekeeping never once stopped by during either of our 3 day/2 night stays, it was clean and pleasant. But even though we had nonsmoking rooms, there were ash trays on balconies and room smelled of smoke.
It was a unique experience to stay in Park Inn situated in West Broadway.
Unique Quality: If you are staying on 4th or 5th floor of the hotel you can have a splended view of the city over false creek. It is on walking distance from false creek and Charlson park.
Location, service, vise
The restaurant is lousy but there is a lot of good restaurants in the neighbourhood.
The location was the best spot to get around.
The cleaning staff were very pleasant.
The front desk staff are not the most pleasant.
Very pleasant stay. Good to be able to add our teenage son into our room
Parking fee of $15 was too much
Location close to eye clinic.
We enjoyed our stay very much.the only problem we had,was food poisoning
from one of the restaurants that was advertised inyour room booklet. It
was called the taste of india which is just down the block from your
hotel.other than that it was perfect.
Very friendly check-in staff, and a message was on our telephone as a greeting, and saying if we need anything to let them know. The best thing is the view rooms, of the False Creek area and north shore mountains.
great view of city skyline (if you're on the north side of the building); easy parking (for a fee); close to restaurants and light rail station for access to downtown, comfortable beds, 1 mile (1.5km) walk to Granville Island
street noise was loud at times, parking fee ($15 CAD per day)
Excellent location on West Broadway with dozens of coffee shops, stores and restaurants nearby. Great view of Vancouver and Granville Island. Easy walk to the park along the river and to the market.
They need a gym.
The King Suite had a spectacular view from Burrard Inlet to GM Place, all along False Creek. Very quiet hotel.
The Elevator was a bit slow.
Location - walking distance to VGH and clinics Price - affordable Staff - friendly and helpful Rooms - well laid out, attractive, included fridge and microwave
Close to Vancouver General Hospital
Elevator broken down on arrival. Was advised that price quoted was based on three-night promotion which was invalid if I checked out after two nights, but there was nothing indicating I was getting a "deal" when I made the reservation.
pulizia , ordine, rispetto della natura, gentilezza degli abitanti
costi elevati di vita
It was within walking distance to Granville Island; the staff was gracious and very accommodating.
Beds weren't very comfortable; no screen on balcony sliding door; could hear noise from hallway; hotel a little "faded."
Location and price
In need of renovation. Stair wells were not clean. Single elevator was inadequate.
great location for my needs
great to see they are installing another elevator. the original elevator was extremely slow
Funcionários, localização e limpeza.
Preço estacionamento e não ter café da manhã incluso na diária.
The city views were amazing and this hotel is perfectly situated for quick access to many locations (beach, Granville Island, South Granville shops, gourmet restaurants) if you have a car. The staff were very friendly, professional and efficient. The hotel looks recently refurbished, was impeccably clean and is non-smoking throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be back here... more
Could not turn off the room fridge which came on constantly throughout the night disturbing our sleep.
Centrally located to where i had to be
Lack of elevators room service and cleaning late in the day
It is priced right for what it is.
Just a minor thing - they only use duvets on the beds with just one
blanket in the closet. I found the duvet much too hot for me but the
sole blanket was insubstantial. So I had a miserable night the first
night with the noisy air conditioner on to cool the room down. The next
day I arranged for a second blanket for the bed and ditched the duvet
and all was...

They should have a special hospital rate for patients
Very comfortable and clean. Staff was very helpful with questions that I had.
Tv needs to be tuned, no clear picture on any of the channels
Price Food at seminar Good food service
Room poor workmanship Clock radio did not work Shower curtain not
hygienic No early checking or late checkout Poor exercise options
Convenient to Granville Island and a reasonable priced taxi ride to the theatre in downtown Vancouver.
coffee shop woman was incompetent in her job and wasted a lot of my time
Your location
You took $250.00 extra from my visa on March 4/2013 which took you
couple of mintes to do.and still did not return it. Today is March
11/2013 Disappointing. Stan.
View from balcony
A farce the check I was a disaster they wanted to cancel my first night
payment to booking .com then start all over again and on top of that
charged me over 200 dollars security deposit when I asked about tho I
was told this was normal complete rubbish I have been going to Canada
for many years never had it to add insult to injury they claimed my visa
debit card didn't work...

Comfy, stylish rooms. Friendly staff.
Could have been cleaner on arrival. Example hairs by toilet and
stains on door.
---- Helpful, friendly staff
---- Reasonable rates

Excellent service for reasonable price;
Excellent food;
Excellent customer service.
Very uncomfortable toilet seat.
The rooms were comfortable, clean and well=equipped.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
I can't say that there was anything to complain about.
Bed and linens were comfortable.
Didn't care for the food in the Market Cafe. Only ate there once.
Location, tidyness, space and complimentary fruits
Breakfast not included.
Closeness to Granville Island and Sushi restaurants
Traffic on street outside
A mi-chemin entre le centre ville et UBC où nous installions notre fils. Quartier très agréable, beaucoup de restaurant et de magasins. Bon prix pour la ville et parking sur place. Staff très agréable.
I like the location. It is not right downtown but yet close enough to take a cab there and back. The rooms have king sized beds which are very comfortable. The room is well appointed.
I liked the convenience of the location.
I thought the two staff members we came across were extremely unfriendly. When we checked in we did not feel welcomed and the young woman spoke so quickly with so much information we couldn't understand and were made to feel like we were bothering her when we asked questions. When we asked about parking, she was abrupt and not helpful at all. Neither...

Location was convenient, however the area was just so, so.
The room was fine, however the building is dated.
Convenient. Decent breakfast. Clean room. Great view. Rubber Ducky brought home to grandson, who is enjoying it. Front desk staff helpful in regard to information about phone cards - where to buy them, how to use them, etc., since I live in US. Was helpful.
Restaurant staff two mornings very unfriendly. Rust comes out of shower for the first few seconds. Shower pressure so strong it hurts.
it has a microwave and fridge and balcony with beautiful city view
only one comfy chair in room
clean, comfortable rooms helpful staff close to the services I wanted reasonable rates
