Always great food and reasonable prices. Great place for lunch and a pint. Lamb sausage pasta was delicious and hit the spot. This restaurant also participate in summerlisious and winterlisious events.
Great atmosphere! Sat outside with me daughter. Loved the food... soul food! Had pesto roasted salmon and braised beef gnocchi. Had Dean as our waiter and he was fabulous!
What a gem! We had a Father's Day dinner here and randomly found the place via yelp but what an amazing find! I ordered the crab cake appetizer and it was one the BEST crab cakes I've ever had and the sauce was magnificent! My husband ordered the cod and he said it was done very well. The dessert (trio of creme brûlée) was sooooo yummy (esp chocolate!!!) Drinks were good and Nadine and other... more
Whenever I come to Burlington, I make a point to go to Paradiso's. Their Moroccan Chicken is amazing!! Great service...always friendly. I can't wait to visit this summer!
Went for Valentine's Day and had an awesome experience. We had a reservation but did have to wait a minute for our table still, on Valentine's Day I totally expected worse. They took our coats which was nice not to have the bulk at the table.
Food-It is an absolute requirement that you get the baked Brie. It was so good we contemplated ordering a second. Order one per person you won't want to...

The location was great with lots of parking near by. The service was excellent and the food came out so quickly. Everything we ordered was delicious, apparently the restaurant next door has the best calamari but I think paradiso is better by a long shot. Really recommend coming here!!
This is easily my favourite restaurant in western GTA! Try the wild boar dish ! Excellent vibe as well!
I had a wonderful experience at Paradiso. I have to make note that it was for a private party, a baby shower.
On a Sunday early afternoon we were greeted at the door by a very friendly staff member. She showed up to the private room that was beautiful. Lots of windows that let the sun shine in. The decor was understated and perfect. There was a menu at each place setting outlining the menu...

I went to this restaurant on Sunday evening for a date night with my fiancé, and we both agreed it was one of the best meals we have had! We started with a charcuterie board and wine, but both our mains stole the show. I had the 12 hour braised boar gnocchi and he had the Moroccan chicken supreme. They were delicious! Both dishes had so much flavour, it was an excellent dinner. The restaurant... more
Seriously great. Just delicious. Gnocchi is melt in your mouth meaty goodness. Yummy-yum!
First of all, I didn't even know this restaurant existed until I ran past it and thought to myself "I wonder if this is owned by the same people who own Paradiso in Oakville?" Apparently, yes! It is tucked away on a side street and sort of in the Village Square. Of course, I have only lived in Burlington for 3-months so what do I really know anyway. Anyway, I needed a good "date night"... more
Luv their charcuterie board. The chicken liver pate was delicious. Also their braised beef gnoochi was amazing.
My friend recommended the Moroccan chicken to me so I tried it and I was not disappointed! It was very tasty. Highly recommend it as well if you don't know what to get! This is one of my favourite restaurants in Burlington. Customer service was exceptional.
Great service and great specials. Had 1.25 oysters with the sauces. My favourite was the red onion vinegar sauce. I had the mushroom risotto with pork chop. Very yummy!
We had a wonderful time at Paradiso for a special occasion. For a large group our waitress was phenomenal, the service was very efficient and no one ever felt like they were waiting on attention from the server. Each individual got a different main course, which was very neat, a diverse selection of meals and everyone was satisfied...Which is a rarity. We ordered appetizers, to mains, to... more
Was at Paradiso on a Saturday afternoon. Food tastes really good. Prices are a bit above average, however given the porion size - price would actually be high if ordered to satisfy appetitie. The portion did not satisfy my appetite. I'm not a hugely large portion eater, however I enjoy Palace on Pape, Koozina's, Julia's in Oakville, Zoro's - of which all offer great quality foods and portions.... more
The food is the die for and the service is fabulous. Great menu selection. The 12 hour braised beef gnocchi is a definite must have.
Went for lunch today and the food was remarkable. Had the beef sandwich with Greek salad, crab cake salad and a pizza for the little one.
The food was out fast the waiter was awesome (Collin). Will be back for sure:)
Um, delish food. Warm on a cold winter night. Oddly not busy on a Friday night in Burlington. Makes me think this is an underappreciated local gem. I will be back!
The food all had a very good flavour to it, although it was a bit oily for my preference. The bread was fresh and had a nice basil and herby taste to it. I got the risotto, which had roasted chicken, chorizo, steamed mussels, and shrimp on top, and it was delicious. The crème brûlée trio (vanilla, caramel pecan, and chocolate) was also very tasty and definitely a must-have. The service was also... more
This is my partner and I favourite place. Every dish that we have had is fantastic, and the service is always excellent! Sasha is the girl that more then likely is our waitress. She's very kind, and always has a smile on her face. We always leave happy, Great place, I would highly recommend it!
We went there at supper on a weekday. We ordered moroccan chicken and two of us had pizza. The moroccan chicken was good, the pizza was not. They simply dont know how to make oizza. The dough was hard and the sauce was tasteless. The service was pretty good.
Have been here twice for lunch. Excellent lunch choice! Quick and friendly service, simple but quality menu. Their Rubin sandwich is awesome. Open kitchen which is always a sign for me the restaurant has confidence in its chef and kitchen staff. Consistently good!
I was recently here for a girl's lunch on the weekend. This is wonderful food served a deliberate pace. The wine list is very nice. Loved the Moroccan chicken and the crab cakes. Highly recommended for when you are not eating with children
Went for Father's Day with family. Ordered Caesar salad and pasta. Waitress forgot the salad. She apologized but did not offer to get the salad. So, I left the restaurant hungry. Will not be returning.
Went here with a group of friends for Taste of Burlington recently. We all started with the spiced butternut squash salad with baby arugula and goat cheese because it sounded so good, but I was disappointed by it. The butternut squash didn't seem fully cooked, so it wasn't sweet like it gets when it's roasted. I had the roasted vegetable spanikopita for my main and it was fantastic. The ricotta... more
Very nice spot for a date night! Their wine list always has some nice new discoveries and I love their pizza.Paradiso is in a great location, right by the lake, walking distance to the art gallery and pubs. Try the antipasto plate too. In house made preserves are delicious!
Had a late lunch here on a Sunday, so the restaurant wasn't too busy and the service was great - very accommodating and kind!
Ordered soup which was great as an appetizer and for entrees, the chicken penne and Moroccan chicken. Best. Chicken. Ever. It was so flavourful, we spent a majority of the lunch fighting over it.
Be prepared to pay more than average, the chicken was over $20 which can...

The jury is still out on this place for me. I recently went with a group of eight for an annual pre-Christmas dinner out. It's located in a quaint village-like part of Burlington which is incredibly inviting. The decor is beautiful and is a cross between formal and casual. In short, you feel that you could just walk in without being too dressed, while still being treated professionally.

This place has mediocre food with mediocre service. Overpriced if you ask me. I've been there every year at least once for a Christmas gathering and the menu never changes. If your looking for dull and bland this is the place for you. They need to add some excitement to their food and to their wait staff.
Went recently and they have changed their menu since my previous visit to Paradiso. Food was still very yummy. The restaurant was very busy, there was a wedding in the room in the back. Service on this visit was slow, but I would attribute that to the wedding party and possibly busier than any other time that I have been there. Overall great food and atmosphere!!
Our out of town relatives chose this place because of great reviews online and I have to say those reviews are pretty accurate. The server was a champ and deserves an award for dealing with our large party. She was SO accommodating of my husband's aunt who has a garlic allergy. She went back and forth to the kitchen to make sure everything our aunt ordered was fine to eat for her. I'm so sorry... more
Such a great spot. The patio (closer to "the village" side) is very quaint and charming on a nice night. I've never had a bad meal there but their Monday night "date night"is by far my fav. Amazing food & great value
Fantastic food and service. Many delicious gluten-free options.
I made a special stop at this restaurant as we drove from Buffalo to Toronto. I had eaten year several months previously and was so impressed that I wanted her to eat her as well. She had the Moroccan chicken and I had a pasta dish and both were impeccably prepared. What we particularly enjoyed was the opportunity to watch... more
Love this place. Tucked away in downtown Burlington. Food is consistently amazing. One of the best restaurants to order alcoholic drinks. You can tell they do not water it down and you get your monies worth. They change their menu and it is never disappointing.
The atmosphere at this place is quite calming with the dimmed lights and warm colours but the food was simply ok, in fact perhaps a bit overpriced for what you get. The location is great, but otherwise, nothing here made us return again.
My wife and I recently escaped A function that was being held at A location close to Paradiso, to see if we could sneak in for late evening romantic dinner. We were pleasantly surprised to find that even though it was already 9:30pm the hostess, servers, and manager were more than accommodating and even still pleasant.(sometimes hard to find in... more
We celebrated my mother-in-laws birthday in the private room. The room was rustic but cosy. The servers Nick and Andrea did an outstanding job making sure we had drinks and served us our selected menu. The food was hot and the portion ample.
The service and menu are excellent, attention to detail is very good, and efficient. Pricing is mid range , and the quality of their food is excellent.
We are always happy with the food and service even on holidays like New Years Eve and Valentine's Day. Our favorite place in Burlington.
I love Paradiso restaurant! It is absolutely our favourite restaurant. Chef Adam recently outdid himself with the Greenlane Winemaker's dinner. Scallop over a potato chowder, crispy polenta, wonderful lamb, amazing chicken, delectable sirloin. Each paired beautifully with a Greenlane wine. The staff are amazing - friendly and attentive. My husband and I have gone to Paradiso at least once a... more
We love this restaurant. It is our first pick when going out to dinner. The Wild Boar Gnocchi is the most incredible meal. We love it and the Crab Ravioli is great, too.
You will always get a good meal at Paradiso. Never have we been disappointed. Nice menu, specials, and the servers are friendly. The room is cozy, without being crowded and there is a patio for summer time dining.
My favourite place to go !
When we lived in Canada, this was one of our favorite restaurants. We were lucky enough to get a table even though it was the beginning of Taste of Burlington. I ordered from the tasting menu. The beet salad was good although a bit too sweet and the sauce was too thick, the rainbow trout was amazing as was the... more
I had the absolute pleasure of attending a winemakers dinner here with a 5 course meal prepared by Adam Mackay. It was delicious. Staff were attentive. The winemaker (Greenlane's Dianne Smith) was enthusiastic and informative, and chef Adam came out and told us about the courses and how they were prepared. Over all a memorable evening. Very well done and hats off to both Paradiso and Greenlane!
i do recommend this place... though i don't think i'll be returning anytime soon. with reservations booked for valentine's day, we arrived only to find that my table had been given to another couple. this isn't always a bad thing.. except that i reserved a certain table for a reason. the table we were seated at was located right next... more
The restaurant was amazing. Great food from start to finish. The calamari appetizer was delicious. The Crab Ravioli and Moroccan Chicken was surprisingly great. Got a free dessert for my birthday, had the Salted Caramel Pecan Tart- again, delicious! Our waitress was really friendly, very attentive and the food came out very fast and fresh. Can't wait to go back.
Went in a group of four prior to Christmas and the place was packed. Good thing we had reservations. Everything about the place, service, food, table layout was perfect. Although we do not eat out often at a higher end restaurant in town, when we do I always prefer this place.
Our first visit to Paradiso and we will most definitely be back! We had a large group which the staff handled well. The food was wonderful. Claire, who handled our reservation was helpful and accomodating. Our complements to the chef and all at Paradiso's.
My husband and I enjoyed dinner at this beautiful restaurant. The chef executed wonderful food and the service was superb! Well done!
The food here is always excellent. We have been here about 10 times. Whether you want chicken, steak, pastas or dishes out of the ordinary you will love this place. Plus the kitchen is out in the open and you can see them preparing your meals.
I was looking forward to this restaurant for the reviews were so positive, so maybe I set my self up for a disappointment. The service was very attentive however the food was average, I had the crab cakes and braised boar gnocchi both were missing a spark, taste and seasoning.
We had dinner here this past weekend. The service was terrific, attentive but not overbearing, the entire staff was very friendlily. Our server was Chatelaine, who was excellent. We started with the salad and calamari, best calamari I've had and I have had a lot. We had the gnocchi with the braised boar, it was absolutely delicious. Definitely looking forward... more
We had dinner here last weekend and even though it was the Sunday of the Thanksgiving holiday, the place was quite busy. The braised boar with gnocchi was outstanding and not to be missed. This restaurant is an open kitchen so unless you want a lot a noise, ask to be seated in the back area which is much quieter.... more
The headline says it all. Excellent starter and main course. I had a tomato soup with crème fraiche and bacon. Hearty, but not overly heavy. Then I had the spaghettini Bolognese with meatballs. Cooked perfectly for me (between chewy and al dente) and piping hot.
We had an excellent server (Chatelaine?) and she kept apologizing for not paying attention to...

We met with some friends who we had not seen in a long time, so there was alot of catching up to do. At no time did we feel rushed or looking for service. We ordered four appetizers to share, Red wine poached pear salad - left me wanting with four slivers of pear, crab cakes - delish, angus beef... more
I wasn't impressed it was ok. I was in for a business lunch and no one else was in the restaurant which I guess says something. Then we were handed 2 for 1 coupons so.....That said it all for me
Like a good bottle of wine, you try different ones but you do come back for the pleasure of the expected satisfaction. Always the best and never disappoint . Great menu, great staff... more
My husband surprised me for my birthday at Paradiso and I had the most amazing time. The food and wine were perfect. Douglas helped us find the perfect wine and he added to the great experience I had. The food, wine, atmosphere, and service was perfect. I think people should know how great Paradiso is.
We dined here last night and we had great meals all around. We started with the Pate, which was creamy, tangy and delicious! My dad had one of the house specialties, wild boar gnocci and it was amazing. My steak and my boyfriends pasta were also amazing. I was worried how my sweet potatoes with gorgonzola and chorizo were going... more
This restaurant came highly rated and it was booked for a family party. The menu was set by the hosts, and a menu card was on the table saying choice of soup or salad, pasta and choice of entree. There were 10+ children attending as well.
Everyone received their choice of soup or salad. Then, a tiny plate of pasta...

I have been here numerous times and would recommend this restaurant. The food is normally very tasty. The staff is professional with good service.
Food was all good to exceptional, although perhaps a bit pricey. Very nice facility, with friendly and efficient staff.
Paradiso is one of our favourite restaurants, but for some reason we haven't been back for some time. We were pleased to find that the food and service are still absolutely excellent.
I ordered the Rainbow Trout which was a great choice. The trout was extremely tasty and the accompanying vegetables were also excellent. My husband ordered the Greek salad...

Enjoyed a birthday lunch here on August 2nd. The service was friendly and attentive and we really appreciated how the wait staff and hostesses worked together throughout our meal. Probably one of the best dining experiences in my many years in Burlington. The staff was lovely and extremely informative and helpful. Food and staff are excellent. Open kitchen with booths allow diners to watch the cooking process.
Only fault is that they do not change menu and after many times can get kind of boring.
We recently held a retirement party in the private room at Paradiso. The event was great - the location, food, and staff made it a very memorable event. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great restaurant.
I wanted to take my Hubby & best friend out to celebrate his Birthday. The restaurant I originally chose closed it's doors. So what to do... We went to Paradiso to a Birthday party a couple of years ago, & sorry to say we put it in the back of our minds. But Hubby said why don't we try Paradiso,... more
I've written a few reviews regarding the amazing food at Paradiso in Burlington, so I don't really think there's much to add or reiterate. This place is simply great.
Heather, Doug, Adam, and all of the front of house staff are really wonderful. The back of house staff are just as great, performing behind the scenes (sort of, open kitchen)...

Wonderful location, great ambiance and good food adds to vibrancy of the downtown core. We have been going there since it first opened and they have been consistent in delivering great food with great value.
Great Service! Thank you Mandy. Enjoyed the Tapas appetizer and Gnocchi was to die for. Great wine selection and recommendation on the Pinot Noir. We'll be back!
I have never been for dinner but have enjoyed the lunch menu several times. It's a favourite place to meet with my Mom & sisters for special occasions. The service is attentive and relaxed. The food is excellent & portions are perfect. Prices are very reasonable. We will go again & again.
This is one of those places where you know the food will be really, really good. The atmosphere is wonderful, especially on Friday evenings when they have live music! I love that they change their menu up so we can return as frequently as we wish, and can count on delicious options by great chefs. It's hands down a favourite... more
good food and selection. wait staff is attentive and lunch menu is good and reasonably priced. has good ambience and is a favorite
I selected this restaruant because they have a gluten free menu. I made the reservation online, which was great. The food was average and the service was poor. We went for dinner on a Saturday night. It was very busy, we waited approximately 15 minutes past our reservation time. Went with my boyfriend last night for a celebratory dinner, atmosphere was great, wait staff was very helpful, food was absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.
Went with expectations of a great Friday night dinner, this restaurant proofed that unforgettable dining experience is more than just tasteful food plates, great atmosphere also its sincere warm services. Well done, and look forward for next visit when we're in town.
I dont know what they pay their staff, but their customer service is amazing. They overheard my dining partner was vegan and took it upon themselves to check every ingredient, including the bread. I reviewed this restaurant before (July 2011, see www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g..., when Matthew Tait was the chef. They offer affordable wines.
I love this restaurant! The food is delicious and the service is always amazing. I have never waited more than 5 minutes for a table and the courses come out quickly even at very busy times (e.g. New Year's Eve). Their specials are definitely worth trying out and they do make some seasonal changes to their menus which adds variety. Prices are very reasonable for the location and the quality of... more
Located in Burlington Village, this restaurant was perfect for my two-year anniversary with my fiancee. We had organic free-range chicken with risotto and a spaghetti bolognese, Both were very decent - not entirely authentic, but decent enough for sure. The music was nice and the seating is great, the place is big, but you feel very private in certain areas. Would definitely return.
As a Burlington resident Paradiso is a restaurant family and friends go to for that special occasion. Over the years the service has been excellent and the same for the food. For the vegetarians and vegans they have a separate menu from which to choose your meal, usually adapted from the main menu. You will not be disappointed. Downtown location,... more
We went for a late Friday night dinner - we did make a reservation as it seems that all Burlington restaurants are busy on Friday nights! The service was attentive, but not hovering. I took my girlfriend here for lunch for our first date. I was extremely impressed with the amount of vegetarian options they had (they have a separate vegetarian menu) and the service was impeccable. Loved the food and the experience.
I come here once a month for a networking luncheon with 30 other people and the thing I find most impressive is the service. The servers are very attentive, speedy and are surprisingly very quiet... which is important in not disrupting the meeting.
When the meeting is over and everyone is ready to pay the servers always hand everyone their individual bill and process the payments quickly and...

My wife and I went on date night to Paradiso last weekend. We were greeted by two friendly hostess who promptly brought us to our seats. Our server was fantastic. He not only checked to make sure our food was great shortly after we received it, he always made sure the he topped up our glasses of wine before we did ourselves. By far the best service I've had in a while!
Girls's night out for dinner and we couldn't have chosen a better place!
My husband and I, along with another couple had dinner at Paradiso this evening and it was really good.
Paradiso made our special occasion outstanding! An impromptu celebratory dinner for two became a fantastic feast. Multiple delicious courses and exquisite wine.
