Ontario Place is downtown Toronto’s premiere waterfront park where the whole family comes out to play all summer long. Ontario Place is an Agency of the Government of Ontario and this is the OFFICIAL page!
As Toronto’s number-one destination for family fun, Ontario Place offers hours of entertainment, with over 30 rides and attractions, including the Wild World of Weather, that heat up the City’s waterfront from spring till fall.
used to love when we had school trips here - it's tons of fun for adults too
Great for concerts. A good day in the summer for the whole family. Both relaxing and fun - lots to do!
Ive never been to Ontario Place for the park...just to see conerts in the Molson Ampitheatre. I really like this venue because its outside and spacious. You can sit on the grass and there is seating as well. The sound is quieter than usual because it is outdoors so you can actually takl to your friends but still hear the show. As usual, drinks and food are overpriced and the line ups are long.
There are so many things to do thier for kids! I've never heard of a kid no loving Ontario Place, so if you have the chance, then go.
Ontario Place is great; there are tons of ride and games and fun stuff to do there. For kids there are the the H20 Generation Center and Atom Blaster, among many. The H20 Generation Center is the largest climbing structure in the country and is a great place to amuse kids, its plethora of tunnels and slides and mazes are bound to entice and occupy a kid. The Atom Blaster is a place that contains an unlimited quantity of foam balls that kids can shoot, tip, blow, slide etc and is extremely fun.
For older people, there's the Super Slide, Wilderness Adventure ride, and Free fall, three exhilaratingly awesome rides that will excite you to no end.
If you don't like rides, check out Soak City, where plenty of water action is happening-- form twisting plunging water slides to an interactive water park for kids, Soak City has something for everyone (though the lines are quite long).
For little kids, there's Microkids, where your little one can draw and color with an unlimited supply of toxic-free crayons and markers, Power Wheels Race Track, where you can race around and OP Driving School For Kids!
Ontario Place is full of fun!
We My MOM and me went to the CNE then you can walk to Ontario Place, its nice to see the water, all the boats. The resturants are,nt cheap thoug, and my \family took me to th IMAX the MOVIES are ok, BUT its so loud, i needed a painkiller for a nasty headache. But other than that it still nice to walk around.
First let me preface this with I have been going almost every year for 30 years, the province should have embarked on this change progressively and many years ago, instead of closing everything... more

I love the amount of free things to watch and do with a family here. Like the water ski show and the acrobatic show were alot of fun this year :)
I give it a 1 star because of the free Thomas show. If you have kids under 10 save your money and go to Centreville.
I went to Ontario Place with my 2 kids and my mother on Aug.10, 2010, . I went there as a kid all the time and loved it and took my oldest there when he was a baby. I have not been there in quite a while, and I will not be returning. The water park sucks, there is no toddler area, no shade and quite frankly it's boring. Then we went to the Adventure Zone, wow, who designed that. Not a... more
Absolutely cannot wait to travel to Toronto again and take in all Ontario Place has to offer. We didn't realize just how MUCH there was to do for kids of all ages!! Sadly, the Hydrofuge wasn't running but hopefully next time! =D
Families with young children will love Ontario Place - a great place to cool off on a hot summer's day. We arrived at 5pm and were entertained for some hours, especially in the water park - everything else is geared much more towards kids.
Queues weren't very long for all the steep slides and - what was best of all - you could go down them together - it's always more fun when someone's there...

This was an amazing end to a day at Ontario Place. The Chinese Lantern Festival runs until October 7th this year, and it's definitely worth checking out.
Every night, over 40 enormous lanterns light up - from Chinese dragons and stories behind legends to cute pandas and logos for the next Olympic Games. We enjoyed Chinese acrobatics and a soundtrack of Asian music as we sampled familiar food...
