The best Public Golf Course in Victoria
A great golf experience! Use every club in your bag as you wander through pristine Vancouver Island forest. Waterfalls, wildlife and great golf holes add up to a great day on the links. Great views, fantastic practice facility and the food in the clubhouse is first rate.

Decent track in good condition

There are some nice holes on the course and a few where you need to be careful what club you use, put the driver away. 5 hour round as a twosome

After dropping my membership at OV, I tried to play there last week. Tee time was 50 minutes late from starting and painfully I was placed between 2 groups of staff members.

Scenic Course and Challenging Layout

Very natural
June 01, 2014A must play when on a golf trip, this was our 3rd time playing here. Tough but fair course , great views, lots of wildlife, and good food in the clubhouse. Clubhouse was under renos this trip so we really missed siting on the deck overlooking the 18th hole. Will return again

Fore for Food

Nice course
April 18, 2014Played from the tips. You definitely have to give the course its due, don't try to overpower, just play what it gives you. Was in great shape just a little wet from heavy rain the day before.

Challenging golf in scenic woodlands

Wonderful course

Tough course but very beautiful, our group played from three colours so were able to see all views of the course. The waterfalls were so nice to see as that was a first for all of us.
PLay was a bit slow on a few holes but speeded up gradually.

June 11, 2013This course is in great shape. Do not be fooled by the lenght, it is a challenging course with beautiful views. Accuracy is required as the fairways are slanted, not very wide and there are quite a few blind shots.

Lovely atmosphere, good food

November 05, 2012Friends and i went here a month ago today, Sat of thanksgiving weekend. Beautiful sunny day and busy day for the links i am sure. All three of us have a handicapp of 17-20 so not beginners but not pro's either. We have all played OV before and can usually get 18 holes in 4.5 -5 hrs. Not this day.... more

One of the prettiest golf courses, anywhere
October 17, 2012A challenging course for both beginners and more experienced golfers. The breath taking scenery and the deer wandering around are a bonus. The staff in the pro shop and in the restaurant/lounge are extremely friendly and helpful. It is no wonder that wedding parties gather at the 17th hole waterfall for photos!
