I wish I had more time and money to drop since I popped in for a quick visit, but I was really impressed by Millennium's selection. Easily one of the best goth clothing stores I've visited in North America with a considerable range of labels, styles, and prices. The staff were very helpful while I was browsing and I'd love to stop by again.
I remember when this place was in Metrotown...I miss that. I am glad that they were able to relocate, even if it was a few times. Vancouver needs a store like this in general. I agree that the clothes are $$$, however, a lot of the clothes for the genre are well stitched and put together by some notable names in the fashion genre. I've had a pair of Trip NYC pants for 5 years with good wear.... more
Prices are expensive and some prices are not tagged on the merchandise itself.
Sales were outgoing when it came to up selling products.
However when I went to return an item I purchased, they wouldn't even look at me. I managed to get my money refunded however it wasn't a full refund.
Due to the poor handling of my refund, I don't i'll be going back there anytime soon
I come for the clothes.
I stay for the hot cashiers.
Uber expensive, so it's definetely a "birthday/stat pay money" place.
Did I mention the beautiful punk cashiers??
Awesome place! Staff is very friendly, outgoing and helpful. THey aren't afraid to approach you or upsell the things on sale. I also quite enjoy that they give their personal thoughts and experiences on their products.
I find lots of really great stuff in this place, including some awesome clothing (mostly dresses).
Love love love!
I've been a loyal lover of Millennium since I was way young and it was in it's Metrotown years. I loved the whole experience, the space, the dragon, the staff, the music and of course the beautiful items. I think it was better suited in that space, but it's also better suited for the area it's currently in. Millennium stocks everything from fairy and medieval decor to geeky Dungeons and Dragons... more
I remember when this store used to be in Metrotown. Yeah it's that one with the big dragon in the cage which has now been taken down. Their clothing is awfully expencive for what you get. I have a few pair of pants from there that I think I could find cheaper on some places online.
Still nice to go in there and see the whole collection of weapons (swords, armour etc), dragon figurines etc....

Being a Vancourite my whole life, and someone who has seen the demise of "cool" on Granville street, I am pleased to announce a new store that has opened and brought the freakyness back to the city where it once lived so long ago.
You may remember when Cheap Thrills, the Beauty Bar and the Underground were staples on G-ville, before the big box retailers moved in to where all the cool kids...
