A Calgary staple, the Mercury, as it's known, is a dark wood and black leather boîte that favors complex cocktails and candlelight. My girlfriend and I went to the Mercury for dinner and drinks on a Friday night. It was a little windy so the patio was deserted which didn’t bother us at all. Typically good food and reasonably priced. Atmosphere is good as long as you're there before the club gets going, otherwise go for the liquid diet it'll be more fun. For a really great culinary experience try Eight, the attached restaurant.
One of my favourite lounges to go to. Always have a good time.

No food, just my favorite bar!
Great food late at night...great martinis too
I love paying $8 for a beer who do you think you are.
Nice place, however it is pricey!

The weekends are busy, so if you want to avoid a line-up, head out early. The... more
