We were unimpressed by the initial contact with the restaurant. The matradee/bus boy was rude and condicending. The other staff were friendly enough, but our initial meeting was very distasteful. Perfect place to eat

We ate in the Bistro portion of Le Beaujolais. I'm not sure why the restaurant is split into two sections. There weren't many people eating here the night we had dinner. Everytime it gets better

This was our second time dining at Le Beaujolais and everything was beyond amazing once more. Our waiter Ted was very knowledgeable and so funny, he made our dining experience just that much better. The food here is amazing! We are definitely keeping this restaurant on our list of "regular" places to done at when visiting Banff. :D

Well prepared meal and good service

We enjoyed our dinner in the Bistro and the server was very nice. Everything was carefully prepared, well presented, and quite good. Reservations in the summer are really recommended and ask for a window seat.

Best restaurant experience I've had in years

Our waiter, Laurent Beclier was outstanding. Suggested great cocktails and wine for the meal, and was a pleasure to talk to through out the night. The Elk Osso Bucco was amazing. We'll be back every time we're in Banff. Formidable !!

Excellent Fine Dining in Banff

Excellent restaurant in a very nice setting. Food and service outstanding. Wife had the osso buco bone marrow and veal scallopine. I had the filet Bernaise and we shared profiteroles for desert. Highly recommended.

Good French food in a quiet atmosphere

Having dined at some high end French restaurants, unfortunately Le Beaujolais doesn't quite compete. However, considering the small town of Banff I was pleasantly surprised. I had the Chef's 6 course dinner with wine pairing. I certainly enjoyed it, but I've had better in big cities. If in Banff and looking for French food, I would recommend it.

Words can not describe this restaurant when it comes to the food, wine, and service. It is an absolute must visit!
