Auberge that doesn't look or feel like an auberge

Felt more like a B&B. Hotel staff was extremely nice. The only thing was it could have used a T.V. in our room. I'm an early riser and breakfast is not served till 8am. Could really have watched something from 6am till breakie. Breakfast was great lots of fruits and pleanty of food.

Very close to local bike trails & area sights

Room was clean and service excellent. Stayed three nights. Floor model air conditioner noisy, couldn't be left on at night. Breakfast was very good, but same repeated 3 days in a row, should have had some variety in menu.

Sauf la climatisation extrêmement bruyante et l'autre fenêtre avec moustiquaire qu'on ne peut pas ouvrir, le confort et la propreté de la chambre étaient parfaits. Stationnement gratuit, emplacement à un coin de rue des activités, un bon petit déjeuner et un très bon accueil

Séjour agréable dans la Romantique

Chambre propre, bien décorée, bien insonorisée et confortable. L'entrée de la chambre se situe juste à côté de la réception ce qui fait qu'on a parfois l'impression de déranger les activités d'accueil quand on entre ou sort. Déjeuner de style continental avec service courtois et efficace mais manque un peu de finesse et de chaleur pour un B&B. Globalement un bon rapport qualité/ prix.

Amazing gem

Loved the place. We were in town for a funeral and stayed two nights here. It was pleasant and the lady that ran the place was amazing. Decent English, not great. Enough that you knew where everything was. Breakfast was super filling and fresh fruit and cheese!!! I would stay here again if I get back.

Bien situé

Très bien pour un 3 étoile 1/2. Style campagnard. Personnel très agréable. Bien localisé, à côté de la rue principale où il y a resto , bars, boutiques. Certaines chambres n'ont pas soit de douche, télévision. Vérifier les commodités de l'hôtel.

Au Virage B&B Magog QC

Very centrally located B&B - walk to just about everything in town. We had a room with a bathroom - very small but comfortable. Owners are really nice and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Great little back yard to sit, soak in the nice comfortable pool, have a drink and chat after a busy day. We would go back anytime.

Surprisingly amazed... Very cozy and warm place... The owner is extremely friendly and make you feel at home... Breakfast choices unbelievable... Extremely clean place. Very nice experience.

A very charming place and owner with a great breakfast

We went to sleep at this place after I bought coupons from GoYub.
I can not believe the deal we had.
The place is charning, the room was so nicely decorated.
The breakfast is served by the owner. He is very welcoming.
His mother makes a part of the food. She is a great cook.

A great place to stay

The Au Virage B&B is in a great location, just a very short walk to the lake, restaurants and the main street in Magog. The beds are comfy and the hospitality is very good.
Breakfast was delicious and never rushed. (and the coffee was very good.) It is a nice bonus that there is free wifi too.

Very good experience

My wife and I spent one night at La Belle Victorienne in January.
Both the room, breakfast and the spa were good experiences.
I am very surprised to read some of the comments down here. Our experience was completely on the positive side.
OK the breakfast is not your typical eggs and bacon, but I personally prefer the healty plate... plus

Clean but needs improvement in many areas including all around service, reception, breakfast etc. I tend to agree with the negatives of the other reviews. Stay away

Ultra small rooms allowing zero intimacy. Common kitchen offering no privacy. Non collaborative owner offering us no refund or alternate arrangement.
Not only were they dishonest with us but also with daily deal companies. They bypassed the daily deal company to avoid paying commissions. This should have been a warning sign.
No lakeview front as falsely described.

Disappointing Spa

The rooms are nice and clean , the bed was comfortable but they could upgrade the pillows.
We were in the maison de Judd. It was quiet and nice. But, if you want to enjoy the hottubI strongly recommend staying in the main building. The hottub at the maison de Judd is far from the house with absolutely no privacy.... plus

Quite nice

We stayed in the suite, that is fitted with a bath, 1 powder room and 1 bathroom with a small shower. This unit also has satellite HDTV with movie channels. The decor is warm and pleasant, the linens were clean, and all towels and bathrobes were quite fluffy.

Lovely stay

We were hosted by the excellent Fleurette (who shares the hosting with her son who was away that week) - totally warm and charming - she made the stay so worthwhile, was helpful throughout. Lovely breakfast. Comfortable bed, sweet room. A small handy fridge just for guests. Right downtown so walkable to anywhere. We'll stay there again next time.

B&B itself ok, but mean owner/poor service

We stayed two nights in the "Romantique" room on the groud floor. The B&B itself is well decorated and our room is clean and in good size. Bathroom is pretty small but everything you need is there. Our fifth and final B&B of our 2 week holiday was by far the most disappointing.

Great B&B in a great area

We stayed here for two nights in the Somptueuse Room. It has a large private balcony that overlooks the back yard that is perfect for reading or hanging out. The breakfasts were excellent and the service great. Nice hot tub in the side yard. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. The Italian restaurant down by the water was excellent.
