Mediterranean grill cuisine? Greek to me

10-minute walk from hotel with unassuming appearance but quaint interior. The calamari dinner was excellent. On a 2nd visit I had a lamb gyro, but the meat was stringy(should have ordered the roast lamb dinner, I think). The Avgolemono soup with egg & lemon is excellent, as are the Greek salads. Service was exceptional.

Excellent as usual

Excellent food and the friendliest of service. Have never been disappointed in all my times in the restaurant. Parking is a bit of an issue.

Nice little Greek restaurant

We had a reservation or we likely would not have got in. Our waitress welcomed us and described the menu items for us. Everyone ordered something different and the servings were very tasty and quite large. My roast lamb was very tender and everyone else enjoyed their meal immensely.

Authentic, Delicious Greek Food

This small restaurant has a great, warm atmosphere. The menu and flavours are authentic; lamb and chicken dishes particularly delicious. Meats are always moist. Service is friendly and prompt and even on take out orders, dinners come hot and quickly. Kids are welcome, but also a romantic atmosphere for dates. Have eaten here for 20 years, ALWAYS consistent!

Best roast lamb on North shore, for sure

Normally get the souvlaki, which is always excellent and affordable, but this time I decided to go for the roast lamb. Can't believe how good it was! Tender and juicy still even though it was a delivery. Will order this one again.

Super Greek home cooking

This is authentic Greek food which tastes great. The portions were too large for us but this is our only negative. Parking is out back, service is good as are the prices. We just wish we could have spent more time in Vancouver so we could go back here again.

Great Greek Food

Loved the Lamb, Gyro, and Avgolemono soup was so good. Service very friendly, kind atmosphere and candle light. It was a special night for us and just what we needed. The prices were very fair.

Very nice taverna atmosphere, authentic Greek food, attentive and friendly wait staff. One order of lamb souvlaki, and one of scallop and prawns were both very impressive. A very satisfying experience!

Excellent Greek food with atmosphere

Enjoyed a fantastic meal at this gem of a restaurant. My husband had a delicious roast lamb, my daughter loved her gyro and I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken souvlaki. My younger children enjoyed the chicken burger and chicken strips. The lemon potatoes were amazing and the Sangria was fantastic! All of this was reasonably priced and served with a smile!

We were staying over night before leaving on an Alaskan Cruise, looking for a place to eat after our long air flight from east coast. We walked 2 blocks from our hotel and peaked in the door of a building that looked like a bar! Try the chicken livers or the fried cheese as an appy, really. You won't believe how good they were, and the lamb kabobs? Wow!

Intimate restaurant, good quality food

This is a rather small, intimate restaurant on Marine Drive. The service is decent and food quality is good. We like their vegetarian selection, but be careful about the rice (could be cooked in chicken stock).

We loved the greek food served here. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and is nicely decorated. Every 6th customer won a free dinner and we were the lucky ones.

We went on a Monday night and the place was not busy at all, so the service was great. I had the moussaka which was good, but I didn't like the bechamel sauce, so I just ate around it. The servings are huge and the lemon roasted potatoes and greek salad are good. I would go back. They are also open 7 nights a week, which is nice, and I like the atmosphere of the place.

Fabulous Greek food

I've been a guest at Kypriaki's for years. While not a large restaurant, and reservations are recommended if there's more than 2 of you, the atmosphere is terrific & the food is outstanding! I'll definitely be back!

Very good. The cosy and on theme interior belies the exterior of the building, have faith... The food seemed authentic, was very tasty (how do they make the humble potato taste so damn good?) and reasonably priced; the service attentive. Lamb for four dinner is Killer. It's delicious and the portion is enormous! It'll fill up two big guys and their dates without difficulty. If you have a chance, get their calamari! It's honestly the best I've ever had, but so was the spanakopita. Dolmades are solid, but not outstanding.

Excellent Greek Food. Large portions. Our personal favorite is the Vegetarian platter - moussaka, spanakopita, dolmades, greek salad, rice and hummus and tzatziki and pita bread. More than enough food for the two of us for around $30.
