My family and I have been going to Koi since we first moved to Port Coquitlam 6 years ago. Always fresh, reasonably priced and the All you can eat menu has a decent selection. Friendly and usually prompt service.
Great place for all you can eat. Fresh and great price, friendly staff. Rolls and nigiri are terrific- not all rice like most all you can eat sushi places.
My sister and I used to go to koi all the time and loved it but after dinner last night we will never go back.
The place was busy and the waitress tried her best but the wait time for food was awful... A meal that normally took us 30min took us a little over an hour and not because...

It's alright, the decor in there is a bit dated and drab. Also who I presume to be the owner working the bar, doesn't look particularly happy there.
We had all you can eat, the sashimi wasn't bad, not overly thick, but the spicy tuna cones were more sweet than they were spicy for us, We ordered beef yaki udon or something?..came on a hot plate and the thick greasy sauce was bubbling...

AYCE menu above average for the price. Ambiance /decor could use A LOT of work. The fluorescent lighting is painful to be under.
Come for the food, not the sights.
I ordered take out from Koi the other night. I've never been here, but it was on the way home and convenient. I ordered 2 California rolls and 2 Dynamite rolls. I very specifically asked for extra ginger. The ginger amounted to about 5-6 pieces, not even enough for one roll in my opinion, so I had to run out to the grocery store after getting home to get more ginger.
The Dynamite rolls were...

You have got to be kidding me. This place is absolutely horrendous. I am absolutely floored by the people who gave this excuse for a sushi restaurant more than one star and said it was great. I have a feeling that my 4 year old nephew could make better sushi while in playing in the mud. The dinner all you can eat cost $17.95 and approx 30% of the items ordered never showed up. The only... more
This is by far the best place to go for All You Can Eat Sushi in the Tri-Cities. The sushi is always fresh, and the price is more than fair for what you get.
I would highly recommend their ebi nigiri, kamikaze roll (which includes prawn tempura, spicy tuna, radish sprouts and asparagus MEGA YUM!), and they have the most amazing spicy agedashi tofu!
Koi gets quite busy through the week and on...

I had the all you can eat for 17.99 the other night at Koi. The food was ok but it wasn't great. I guess i couldn't expect too much from all you can eat. Sashimi was limited to 3 orders per type, so i had maxed out salmon but they only gave me 1 order ot Toro. Nigiri sushi had a lot of rice and small pieces of fish. The rolls were very tasty though, california roll had tons of meat. Chopped... more
The food is awesome here. The Oyster Motoyaki is great and the rolls are fresh. Prices are a little high. If calling your order in make sure you confirm everything because the girls that answer the phone do not speak english very well and I've ended up with the wrong thing. Overall a great place and would recommend to others.
