We had a big room with almost everything: microwave, refrigerator, TV, coffee maker and even stoves. The room is old with smoking smell, it is a place to stay one night and leave. We had coffee, juice and donuts, apple in the morning. Everything is low quality, but worth the money -- it was full when we arrived there.
Within minutes of putting clean white socks on, they were black on the bottom. The rug had not been cleaned in I don't know how long. Not a good experience overall.
Motel is located next to highway thus somewhat affected by highway noise. It has a swimming pool and a well maintained and spacious parking lot. There is a Canadian Tire gas bar and a shopping mall with Sears and Walmart just around next street. The room's cleanliness is acceptable and it includes tv, alarm clock, telephone, stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and hair dryer. Some motels like... more
Staff was pleasant. We appreciated the donuts and pastries offered. But the room was filthy. There was excrement stuck to the toilet bowl, hairs every where. And when I took my sandles off to change, my feet stuck to the floor.
Everything was fine except cleaner having smoke while cleaning "non smoking" room. But it was addressed immidiately by owner.
i went there to stay with my family and we had a great time! The service and staff was exceptional. It was nice and quiet there was privacy for my family. overall it was a family friendly place to stay.
The motel is nice and clean, has a nice outdoor pool and the grounds are well kept. The furniture is somewhat dated, however, the beds are very comfortable. There is no coffee maker in the room and no racks for hanging towels in the bathroom.
The room was just fine, it was the people next door who came in late...

On first glance the room looked nice, granted it was late at night and we were tired. Got into the room and realized how bad it was, very dirty, hand prints on walls and doors in both dirt and possibly blood, holes in the wall behind doors peeling paint, bubbled wall paper, no plug for the bathtub, tons of flies... more
For family point of view it's nice place to stay because of it's location, cleanliness and very excellent service. People we found were also nice and friendly.
I enjoyed staying there so will certainly prefer staying at the same place in future.
what a horrendous experience.....
I tried booking a room by calling the Knights Inn Kitchener directly and woke someone up; they asked me to call back after 8:30 am
So I tried calling the Knights Inn booking toll free number 1-800-477-0629 and spoke to Monica. we had a very difficult time understanding each other and ultimately she said that there...

We stayed here after arriving late into town for a meeting. Needless to say we know knihhts inn has great rates as we have stayed in the franchise many times in other cities. This one however has not been updated like many others. Unclean and uncomfortable.
Not reccommended for a family stay. O.k. if you need a quick cheap place...

I was satisfied - my kids thought it looked like a crack hotel - but they also were paying for anything. It was a place to stay for the night for a wedding, it served its purpose, I would go back.
Great! Will be back next time
It was alright but I won't go back to a filthy room. Staff were helpful buy experience was poor. I'll pay the extra $20 to stay around the corner at a Sheraton
I was totally displeased by the guy running the Kitchener Knights Inn, from the moment I got there to the moment I left all he caused was annoyance. When I arrived I was in a hurry to check in on the way to the reception while the rest of the groomsmen were in the truck waiting as they were staying in other locations, I was harassed by the man at reception for 5 minutes ensuring only one person... more
Although it seems that the hotel had put some money into new counters and some room features, baseboards and switches were dirty, the mirror was cracked, wall treatments are outdated, in room appliances are old, and the room was generally dark. I feel the motel could be greatly improved by replacing switches, and updating the rooms more. It is also worth noting that it seems due to the price of... more
The smell of smoke here is atrocious (and I am a smoker myself). It was so strong that my daughter and I went out to the local grocery store to get Febreze candles to try to make it tolerable. If it had not been so late checking in we would have left and found another hotel. In addition the room was outdated, basic cable and a dirty coffee maker.
Very nice staff, clean and large rooms, free breakfast. We will consider it when we are back to Waterloo.
If your expecting anything nice you are going to the wrong place. The owners aren't the friendliest people in the world and they sure make you feel unwelcomed like your inconveniencing them. Smiling isn't something they can do.
Room was beat up but the bed was clean and bed bug free so that's all I care about. So for $50,...

ok, we have been staying at this hotel for a number of years when visiting the area for work so it is paid by another and it is fine for us to stay there a night or 2.
This review is for anyone looking for a place to stay, If you want inexpensive ( kinda) then this ones ok. However,...

Rude staff, the room was a non smoking room, but when I opened the door, all I smelt was old tobacco smell.
I travel all over Ontario and spend weekends covering events. The owner/manager of this hotel is the rudest person I have ever dealt with at a hotel.
I Stayed at this motel for 2 nights in February 2014. Its an amazing place to live. The staff is very friendly and cooperative. The rooms are very nice and clean as well.I would suggest anyone who is going to kitchener should stay in this motel.GOOD JOB KINGHT INN KITCHENER.. KEEP IT UP:)
rooms are not very clean, area feels unsafe. the people are sketchy. it would be worth it to spend a bit more and upgrade to a different hotel. the cab driver was worried for us when he dropped us off.... that says it all
The room was not clean and very run down. Continental breakfast was muffins in clam shell containers obviously purchased from the local grocery store.
Stayed over after visiting friends and the rates were affordable and the rooms was clean. Khalid, the manager was very helpful. The hotel is located close to restaurants. I would stay here next time if I am in the area.
Very clean. Had no stop for the tub. No coffee pot in room or way of heating Waterford tea. . Gentlemen was very kind to heat water for me for tea in the morning. Great service
Freezing room with noisy air conditioner used as a heater.
On Saturday January 4th my husband and daughter stayed at the Knights Inn in Kitchener Ontario. We stayed in Room 134 with two queen beds. We chose this location based on price and that pets were allowed as we brought our small shihpoo. My daughter needed to be back at Laurier University on the Sunday and there was a snow... more
The room was very dated, and had no coffee maker or other amenities one comes to expect, but it was clean and quiet although as it had originally been built to front old Hwy 8 which is now a four lane expressway, the entrance was difficult to find. The beds were not the best, but certainly not the worst I have encountered
You get what you pay for, I guess. It won't kill you to stay here, sure, but don't bring your wife/girlfriend. Also, expect frequent visits from the police in the parking lot.
We chose this motel because we wanted something convenient to the Kitchener Auditorium. We just needed a place to put our heads, so went for a good price. You get what you pay for.
We needed one night to sleep before heading off and this was more than enough and was very good value
Received a wake up call at 4:30 even though I didn't ask for one. Later, we woke up in the early morning to the knocking of the cleaning lady. Then this was topped by her intruding the room without waiting for my reply.. her words were "sorry, checking out?".
Good stay. They always kept the place clean. Right next to a bus route to downtown Kitchener and a tim-hortons across the street.. I'd definitely go back there the next time I'm in Kitchener.
3 Police vehicle there for a large disturbance. Room was dirty. Cob webs on the ceiling, Dirty walls, wallpaper falling off, noisy all night, dirty furniture. Would not recommend to anyone.
The condition of this hotel was terrible. We had requested non-smoking and although rooms were labeled as such, the ones we were shown smelled extremely smoky, and had ashtrays sitting on windowsills right outside the door. Two of them obviously had had occupants who were smoking in the room. Since all three of us are cancer survivors, we found this unacceptable and had to find other... more
not good would not come back general feel of neglect
Motel wasn't the best. Bath tub was chipped, crayon markings on bathroom door. Poor lighting. Room did have a fridge and microwave. Bonus. Found large bug in bathroom.
The hotel is clean and about 5 Kms from downtown Kitchener...about an hour walk if you like to walk. Not alot of restaurants close by, but there is a Tim Horton's across the street and a Red Lobster about 1 Km down the road. There is nothing special about the rooms, but they are clean and the price is good. The owner was helpful, and the pool in the centre courtyard is well tended.

We stayed one night here. The room was dirty and the bed sagged in the middle pretty badly. The location is good but the place needs work. There are lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. I don't think I would stay here again.
Was in Kitchener for the Blues fest.. Upon check in,, Sid gave me the options of what room I wanted,, all though I had it booked already,, it was nice to have an option.. The property was very clean,, and the pool was a refreshing dip.. The room was a little outdated,, but was comfortable.. Staff was very friendly,, and even made some new friends while there.. Will be back again !!!
Room was clean, problem with leftover stale smoke smell, very few tv channels.
The room was okay. The furniture was a bit dated but nice and clean. They had non smoking rooms together and able to sit outside. Like the new keys that they had.
A coffee maker in the room; but no coffee and no cups A telephone but no telephone book
Convenient, lots of linen, outdoor pool was nice, satisfactory for our purposes, staff nice, would stay again for similar purpose during summer weather
Room clean, receptionist kind, helpful with instructions. Not a luxury hotel. Has fridge, microwave, clean pool. A good place for the price and will go back.
Ok stay. Rooms were ok, beds comfortable but rooms needed some maintenance.
There were police there about 5 minutes after we arrived and then again after we goi back from Supper
I travel to the kw area twice a week on business and have been staying at the Knights Inn for about 2 years now. I find that that the rooms are always clean with a decent price.. I also like that all the rooms have a fridge and a microwave which is essential for my travels. I would like to... more
For the convince & location, it worked. Very accommodating for a very late arrival & changing the mattress (due to a back condition). A little shady but I didn't feel unsafe. Spartan but adequate. Got the impression it was a longer term hotel for down and out residents.
Stayed one night April 5, 2013. The room was clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. Nothing fancy but the room had a fridge. Close to the highway as I was a vendor at the Elmira Maple Syrup Festival. Would recommend this hotel.
We went to Stratford for a show, and decided that it is too late for us to return home in Toronto. After a long day driving and starting the day off sick with a migraine, it was a welcome relief to get to the hotel. We were welcomed with friendly and helpful service. I stayed more than one month in ths hotel. Nice friendly staff. Motel is surrounded by well known restaurants. Affordable rate.
Location is very good. Easy access to ground entry rooms. Fridge and microwave facilitates food preparation in your own room. Wireless internet connection is important to us.
We keep coming back to this property because we like the way we are treated by the owners/management.
Friends booked so I had no choice. Price at $65 a night is good but the place is old and grimey.

We were going to be arriving late, so we tried to call them to let them know throughout the evening, no one ever answered the phone.
