I don't really understand all the low ratings for this HK style cafe. Kingspark is a bit on the pricier side, and although there are lots of other options for this type of food in Richmond, Kingspark is my go-to HK style cafe. They are one of the few that offer puff pastry baked soups!

As I mentioned earlier, yes, their dishes are maybe $1-2 more than it would be at Alleluia or Happy Date. And... more

+.5 for service

Of all places I could've eaten in Richmond, I chose this one. Oops.

Kingspark Steak House is a HK style cafe. From the reviews I'm seeing, if this was one of the "better" HK style cafes, then unfortunately I have to say Markham has you beat in that department.

I had the beef instant noodle with satay sauce. The taste was actually the resemblance of "meh", as I found the... more

Let's face it. Richmond Cantonese food is about pricing. Food selection is identical at any cafe and you don't go Cantonese cafe for service. But really can you ignore bad service when food is just as identical as next cafe or food court down the block? No i cant.

I am cool with male-only staff serving food with their apron. However, everytime restaurant door opened they all be checking out if... more

HK-style café with a very good variety of Asian and Western dishes and large portions at reasonable prices. When you order the set meals, I like getting a drink and a soup with mine: choice of a daily soup or lobster or seafood, and for all soups you can add the pastry on top (sorry, but I'm not sophisticated enough to know the name for that, LOL).

Craziness- but this is actually one of the better HK cafes in richmond.

Not rude service (like other reviewers have mentioned), just non-existant.

I get the classic baked pork chop on rice.
It's good. Not goldstone quality. But good enough compared to some of the WEAK efforts in the rest of richmond to match Goldstone.

I've been here a handful of times and they were all decent meals but this recent visit after a year of not being here, will probably be my last.

I came here late night with my boyfriend to try and catch some late night deals. We didn't see much or any special deals.

I got the Pan-fried Flat Rice Noodles with Beef (around $8?). They were average and typical in taste, nothing to get too excited... more

I've been here on and off since they've opened and I gotto say the service had gone down hill, having only no more than 6-7 tables, we had the usual first glass of tea and never got a refill after that. Servers looked miserable as f@!k and food portions have gotten smaller. I won't be returning anymore.

Sadly this subpar dining experience will have to be my first review.

Menu offers your standard HK cafe items.
Ordered the 2-item grill combo... Which came with mushroom sauce featuring raw unwashed sliced mushrooms.

Waiter insisted that's how it's supposed to be. Visible dirt on mushroom was "sauce particles" and that's how "western style" mushroom sauce is supposed to be. Ooook then..

Maybe... more

Worst service ever!! When you first walk in, the waiter doesn't acknowledge you and tilts his head to signal you over.

The food is edible but not fantastic. I don't know if this is their policy, but the food for my party came all together which is good. Most Chinese places serve the food as soon as it is cooked.

They call it a steak restaurant but it is definitely not their specialty. They... more

Name is fairly misleading, not really a steak house. It's a hong kong cafe. I found it interesting that they have two sides of their menu: western noodles & rice, and asian noodles & rice. They serve some typical western stuff like spaghetti and meatballs, as well as a good selection of various asian dishes. I got the fried udon noodles (shanghai style). It was a fairly hefty portion, and was... more

I've been coming to Kingspark for years, although i've never ordered or would suggest eating steak here. Here's the deal, the food is good, service is terrible, portions are well sized and pricing is awesome. The home run is "thai style" chicken fried rice. It's great. My other favorite is the curry, u can get it with chicken, brisket or lamb. I have enjoyed the chicken and brisket. Everything... more

I've been going to this place for a while and it is one of my go-to places for HK style food.

If you go after 9pm you can get the cheap menu which includes a drink. Definitely order their HK style milk tea when you are here - it is one of the best in town in my opinion.

I usually order curry beef brisket with rice or the grilled plate (you can choose different options of meat with... more

Cheap chinese breakfast- congee, sandwichs, meat and egg plates or noodles with drink- up to $6.49

I usually get the Chicken steak sandwich or Soya rice noodle rolls. If I'm hungry, then I'll add Congee or one of the combo dishes on the side. It's a great deal, good food.

I never expect good attentive service in these types of restaurants but it's quiet and quick with my food.

Try it out :)

I have no idea how "Steak House" got in there.

I only visit for take-out. The set meals are priced quite well for the generous portions. There is othing too striking about this place, really. Some food combinations here are quite odd to me as I am not from HK, hence less accustomed to the HK diner-style food. Overall, it's edible; just nothing fancy.

This is my delima. Trying to write my review, take pictures while at the restaurant that I'm reviewing, with my iphone.

So I get back to my house to finish the review. I have to admit, that sometimes I will just post whatever I wrote on my iphone without any edits and let it run.

In this case, I had to make changes due to all those auto-correctness that this phone loves to impose on me.... more

a new to-go hong kong style cafe for me!

introduced by my coworkers, this restaurant hit the right spot for me. the price was decent, the food was good, the service was relatively quick. for a group of 9 people, they didn't mess up any orders.

i tried their noodle combo, where i got to choose my own noodles and soup base and toppings. let me tell you, i ordered the parsley and preserved duck... more

Our steak was way over-cooked and the manager was an a@s about fixing it. He stood there p@!%!d off and angry, but eventually offered to cancel it (after more arguing). Won't be coming back nor recommending it to my friends.

Move along... there are plenty of other HK cafe's in Richmond that give a little more respect to their customers and have good food.

*Great Hong Kong-style cafe*

Kingspark Steakhouse Restaurant is a Hong Kong-Style cafe which serves internationally inspired dishes which are asianized to fit the tastes of Hong Kongers. Typical Hong Kong-style cafes serves set meals which comes with an entrée and a drink (sometimes with soup as well).

When I come to Kingspark, I usually order their western-style dishes which are your rices... more

this place has been around for a while. the food's average and the set meals are a better deal during afternoons. service is not the greatest but alright. a lot of choices/variety on the menu like all hk cafes. my friend's car got broken into in the parking lot while we were eating inside, even though it wasn't even dark yet so be careful--maybe richmond's not as safe after the skytrain's been... more

A nicely decorated HK-syle cafe with discounted meals after 9pm, before that then it's add $1 to each item, you still get your free drink. I like how they have many items on their menu to choose from and it's organized in categories instead of just a huge long list.

Their fried rice/noodles is really well made, can't go wrong, awesome sized portions, not mini at all, the size stays the same... more
