We are regulars at Sizzle. It's close to work and we get a discount as well. They are quick, they know their regulars and service is friendly and fast. Give it a try!
very good food, good quality and you can tell it's fresh! (at least my salad was really nice and fresh!), and the prices are fair... the service is REALLY good too!
We are a very large family with 3 kids among us attending Queen's University. Trying to get a reservation anywhere on a Sunday for 11 people was proving to be quite the challenge. I remembered the great breakfast we had a the King Street Sizzle when we stayed at the Four Points last year. We were so thrilled to not... more
went here on feb.17 after trying ti eat there the day before but it was closed for 'cleaning'. no sign but anyways. returned the next day around 4. only one other table had guests. we ordered a craft beer. we had the chicken parm and the fish and chips. both were excellent. cooked perfect. coleslaw was also very nice. would... more
Had dinner last night at the King Street Sizzzle last night, we were seated a nice private table. The menu had a great selection and we had a difficult time making a choice. The service was great, fast and friendly. The meal was delicious and the portion size was plentiful. I recommend this restaurant, no complaints.
I heard great things about breakfast at Sizzle. I have to say that I was not impressed. You do not get any better quality than in chain restaurants (like Smitty's) and the price is similar to much better options downtown Kingston.
Located in the lobby of the Sheraton Four Points, we went here for dinner and breakfast. Although the menu looks good, the quality of food was below par. I ordered the "fresh beer battered haddock". What I got was clearly not fresh! Two tubular portions of frozen fish in a regular batter. It was probably supplied by Highliner. There was... more
Went for breakfast here on a Sunday morning. Service was friendly and fast. Breakfast was with standard options available.
This restaurant is in the lobby of the Four Point Sheraton Hotel. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We went to this restaurant for breakfast one morning and dinner one night. They had a great kids menu and lots of choices for the adults.
This restaurant is clearly run by idiots. The food came out tasting terrible, and the server did not seem surprised at all when we complained. Their dishes are a joke. Santa Fe Salmon? Who thought to smother, clearly frozen, salmon in guacamole?? EW. I know the hotel Sizzle is attached to recently passed into corporate hands, and let me tell... more
Some food came out cold, and the waitress seemed annoyed to have customers when we were there. Some food was tasty which was great, but the lack of attention from the waitress when the restaurant was dead was frustrating.
Food was not cooked thoroughly. Disgusting way to run a restaurant. Maybe they were just having a bad day???
good food, a bit pricey but a more formal dining experience - close to the water - nice menu selection - great place to dine as a couple or as a group. really nicely decorated and lovely presentation
This resturant accodomated our large group of 25 for dinner with no problems!
The staff was pleasent and helpful and did a good job getting our meals out in good time. The food was pretty good too!
I want to like The King Street Sizzle, I try to like The King Street Sizzle, but I always leave feeling dissatisfied. It's expensive (but then again, it IS the restaurant of one of our more expensive hotels) I like the decor but yet it's lacking something....authenticity. The first time we dined there, they came around with plates of appetizers... more
Love the atmosphere, the menu choices, the retro funky dishes and flatware staff are awesome and very knowledgable parking can be a challenge
We dined here for a holiday party (about 40 people). Our waitress was unaware of our arrangements and was a tad bit rude. The soup and salad were alright but the main course ( I had the sante fe salmon) and dessert were very disappointing. No one at our table ate their dessert. The last two courses tasted cheap. The... more
Was not expecting quite this standard from what is an otherwise unpretentious restaurant. We had a more than adequate breakfast on the first day - probably a little on the large side, but no matter. At night, we enjoyed a very agreeable 3-course meal which started out, in my case with one of the most interesting dishes I've ever been... more
The Staff here are rockin! Robert the chef creates magic for breakfast! All of the wait staff go out of their way to give you great service for breakfast. They do close @ 10pm which is a ok for the kitchen but the bar should keep longer hours for the hotel guests.
This is definitely a great choice for restaurant. The portions are actually too big, but the food is excellant. The ribs are spicy so be careful. My steak was perfect. My wife had gluten free pasta and it was put together by pros. The kitchen is open for everyone to see and the guys are great cooks. Don't book the... more
This review has to be viewed as to the fact we were a group of 20. We had a private room which was just able to accommodate our crowd. It was a wee bit tight. The room is very well decorated – bright cheerful colours.
The service was slower than what we found to be acceptable. The meal took a...

Beer selection was good, I would have liked to see more local selections. The waitress steered me in an excellent direction when I asked for a meal recommendation. The ribs were excellent, with sweet potato fries and grilled veggies. A huge meal!
The food is very good. Presentation, taste and value. A hidden gem. Staff are very pleasant as well.
sitting here on the patio, enjoying a proper cup of tea. ( I'm so tired of mediocre establishments handing you a pot of tepid water with the bag on the side for the customer to put in.) Sizzle does it right
We had dinner last Saturday night, not expecting such tasty food for a hotel restaurant.
The Sizzle salad was unbelievably delicious. My children had the signature pasta and both
of them raved about it. The service was great, we had a delightful server that was very attentive.
The ambiance was warm and comfortable. I would recommend anyone to visit and...

We went back after rading some reviews and thought we would give them another chance and after the meal I dont know why. The service was good which is to bad because I want to give the restaurant a positive but I can't. The food was just as bland and seemed to have no effort or carrying behind the plate.... more
had a review on this place but seems to have disappeared so I repeat ,,nothing special,,fancy place but its just pub food on fancy plates that in my opinion is overpriced.
Went to dinner with another couple on Saturday night. The service was slow at the start. The server mistakenly offered tomato & bacon soup which was actually potato soup. 2 people were served. Our waiter disappeared. We mistakenly thought he was getting the remaining meals. 15 minutes later, my husband tracked him down. The server forgot to place the orders!... more
We stay at the Sheraton almost monthly but rarely dine at the hotel apart from breakfast room service, which is always good. Our experience there for our daughter's 9th birthday will certainly change that! We were dining with a child who has a serious tree-nut allergy and emailed the hotel before booking to scope things out -- we know eating... more
Loves the turkey club with pesto! Meaty, hearty, tasty and great value! Nicely displayed in modern plate!
But the French fries....out of this world amazing!
I absolutely love the King Street Sizzle- I always end up there when I am in Kingston visiting friends and family! It is our regular hang out! The food is delicious, the staff are personable and professional, and the drinks and desserts are unique and satisfying! the restaurant has a unique and sizzling vibe and it's in the perfect location-... more
Abundance of options and excellent food all around. I love the Sizzle Signature Pasta and the soups are always amazing! The desserts are awesome too !!!!
This place has an intimate vibe while still being able to accommodate a large number of patrons. If you're a group and want a private space, they have the best private rooms in town!...

love the booths, funky glasses and dishes, bright colours and great food.
The price of our dinner was 95.00 an exceptble price if the food wasn't so flavorless. My wife ordered the pasta done your way which had less flavor than chef boyardee. I ordered the lobster stuffed ravioli it was mushy and tasteless I don't know what was in the sauce but very bland at least the veggies in it were... more
Stayed at the Four Points Kingston and ate dinner and breakfast at King Street Stizzle. Great staff and wonderful food. We will be back.
This restaurant is located in the Four Points Sheraton, and we were referred here by our own hotel where we had missed the complimentary breakfast.
It offered the predictable breakfast offerings, with the traditional bacon and eggs plate, eggs benedict, pancakes. Both my husband and I opted for the eggs benedict. My husband prefers his eggs soft while I like...

Wanted some place nice, unfortunately seating was very cramped which I could have accepted if the food was good. This was the worst place I have been to in a long time, food tasted like a microwaved TV dinner, and the presentation matched. With so many other resturants in the area, be advised and spend your hard earned cash at... more
Usually I avoid restaurants in hotels because they often disappoint - but the King Street Sizzle "Pound and Pint" was great for a light supper (or lunch - its offered from 11 am).
You have a choice of "Pints" on tap and a "Pound" of chicken wings, mussels or sausage. I had the mussels which were very plump and steamed...

After writing a review about my bad experience the first time I are here, I was offered a number of gift certificates to come back and try this place out again. Unfortunately, the second experience was even more embarrassing for the restaurant then the first.

Last summer after ,y graduation my family and I decided to go here for a nice celebratory lunch. It was a little pricey, but fine for a special occasion. There were 6 of us and everyone was fairly pleased with the menu, but the portion sizes were a bit smaller then expected. Everything was great until the next day. I... more
My two friends and I went to dinner tonight expecting great food, especially after checking out the website and reviews. The atmosphere was good although very loud for some reason. We had reservations for 5pm , not overly crowed at that time of day. The hummus came with natchos ( no crispy pita left) but what annoyed me was more... more
Went to the King Street Sizzle with my partner on April 2nd for supper and we were disappointed. The place was quite empty but surprisingly loud. Our waiter was very friendly and recommended the stuffed pork tenderloin and the sizzle pasta so that is what we ordered. My husband enjoyed the pork, it was stuffed with apples and cheddar and... more
You must try their sizzle Martinis and electric Popsicle drinks they are amazing and the Sizzle Pasta is delicious!
My husband and I took our 17 year old daughter, 19 year old son and 3 of his university buddies to Sizzle. What an incredible dinner! Between fillet mignon, chicken wings, caesar salad and seafood salad everyone was stuffed and totally enjoyed their meals. The ones that had the steak said it was the best they ever had....Tony, our waiter,... more
This restaurant is in the Four Points hotel so we had breakfast here after checking out of the hotel. The omelette and eggs benedict were good and they had real Kraft peanut butter (most places have bad imitators). Service was quick and pleasant.
I have been there twice and I was very disappointed both times ... the food is not very good at all!
A stylish spot located on the ground floor of the Four Points Sheraton Hotel, the entrance off of King Street looks like any other restaurant frontage, and it only after you are inside that you realize it is within the hotel.
We visited in July, and chose to sit inside rather than on the patio on King Street. We got...

This was one of my favorite places to eat for a while and than they changed there Chef and there menu. Still good quality food just some weird entree combos. Like squash with fillet mignon, what the hell?
The Tropical Sunshine is a must have drink at the Sizzle.
King Street Sizzle offers Meditteranean style dinig with Canadian dishes and vegetarian options as well! Delectable Portuguese infused specialties! The restaurant has a great bar and two private dining spaces. Chefs use local ingrediants as much as possible and we have our own Pastrie Chef!
