One of our family favourites, this small family-owned business has a welcoming atmosphere and excellent food.
It's been a while since someone has help Kim's. I took 3 colleagues in to Kim's last week and was quite surprised. The hostess/waitress was very nice and accommodating.
Two of my colleagues ordered bbq pork vermicelli with springs rolls, the other ordered a lunch combo and myself a chicken hu tieu. All the food came out at the same time and the seasoning at least on my dish was authentic. We...

Misled by reviews... Usually yelp is pretty good for accurate reviews of food quality, but unfortunately not this time. I grew up on Vietnamese food and home made pho from my Chinese-Vietnamese family, so I kinda know when some things aren't right. Spring rolls were skinny and not authentic as they used regular spring roll skin and bland filling. As per reviews, the pho toppings were seriously... more
Definitely my top Vietnamese restaurant in Victoria, Staff are always very pleasant to be around. Great Prices and Fantastic Quality food. I come here time and time again, and it is always good food!
When we walked in, the decor was beautiful. But the staff wasn't very attentive. We weren't sure if we needed to seat ourselves or if we needed to wait. We began to seat ourselves when a woman (Kim, believe it or not) told us to sit in any of the 2-seat tables which were next to the front door, less than ideal and not where we were originally heading.
We ordered the Beef Pho and my wife...

I just had the chicken pho again. It's so delicious and garlicky. I love it.
I wish they had fresh basil on their fixin's plate, but really, eat the soup. Hot damn, she good.
Five stars for the seafood soup. Have had it four times and it is excellent - best broth ever.
And if you are looking for a healthy dining opportunity, this certainly qualifies. The flavors and textures are exceptional in the seafood soup.
If the seafood soup is this good, their Pho must also be exceptional. Will try next time.
How could this little gem have been located in the same place since 1997 and I've never noticed it? I've literally driven past it hundreds of times and never even see the entrance. I guess that goes hand in hand with why I'm somehow first to review.
This place seems pretty obviously family run and you're treated as such when you walk in. We got an immediate and warm greeting and we were...

This is by far one of the best restaurants in Victoria. I highly recommend the seafood curry. Compare the value of Kim's Seafood curry ($10). You can't beat this exceptional price for a tasty meal.
GOOD!
I work around the corner for Kim's and I usually go there once a week, twice if I can't resist it! The people are friendly, and the food is always fresh and delicious! I've also converted my co-workers to the dliciousness of Kim's, we highly recommend the fresh salad rolls with their homemade peanut sauce!
Kim's Vietnamese Restaurant offers these services: grocery store, restaurant.
Savvy locals know to head to this special little eatery, whose casual, almost homey decor and friendly service make even strangers feel like long-lost friends. Hearty eaters will want to opt for one Kim's special seafood or noodle dishes, maybe even mussels in sake served with lemon grass and a sweet coconut sauce. A word to the wise: the lunch and dinner combos are always smart bets. If it's a... more
