I've been to this place a few times and what most frustrates me it's to be begging for the menu, having to wait over half hour for a waitress..
The brownie intense is my favorite, I am a chocoholic :)
The Chocolate Side
Juliette Et Chocolat has a bistro-like decor, soothing ambient music playing in the background, waitresses in red hats, and above all, the irresistible scent of chocolate lingering in the air. For those who are addicted to or passionate about chocolate, Juliette Et Chocolat is a dream come true. Juliette offers an array of old fashioned hot chocolates and authentic samples...

Saturday night the service was very slow and not a lot of people but I'm giving a 3/5 because the food was good. I didn't like the limonade which I paid extra so it could be fruity. FRUITLESS!!! We literally had to look for the waiter.
Besides this my strawberry waffles was very good, fresh and tasty fruit.
I ordered the grandma style hot chocolate to go. The hot chocolate was not cheap. After drinking about 1/3 of the cup I noticed that the sides of the plastic cup had melted into the drink.
I sent the head office an email to let them know about the cheap cup quality and how it melted toxic chemicals into my drink but they never bothered to respond.
Imagine if your doctor would tell you to take this kind of medecine (see the picture). Well... this is indeed decadent but it tastes good and it's original, but it is too much sugar for me. Beware that it's not cheap. It's like medical service with no insurance ;-)

Don't miss this gem -- amazing chocolate desserts and fabulous coffee -- can't wait to come back tomorrow and the next day! POP was delicious ice cream dipped and covered in nuts and chocolate beads -- my husband's waffles made him swoon -- like he was back in Belgium!
Magnifique!
Best desserts ever. I love their fondu with praline chocolat and fruits to dip in the chocolat. I also took the tiramisu and it was fantastic. It is sinful to eat such a delicious chocolat and desserts. I try to keep myself from going there but temptations are enough to let me forget about the diet and go and eat there. Amazing place. I always recommend it to people.
A wonderful restaurant to sit and enjoy chocolate. They also make crepes, both sweet & savory, that are delicious. My only regret is I only got to visit them once during my stay.
Stopped in for a late night dessert and was happily blown away!! Have got to come back here with a full appetite!! Decaf coffee was excellent, desserts were a dream!! Raspberry and dark chocolate are my new obsession!!
Stopped by for dessert after dinner on our trip to montreal and were left thinking "that was okay" instead of "that was amazing". Prices are really high for what you get and they do emphasize chocolate but I find that there was nothing that stood out. We ordered the crepe with chocolate, strawberries and banana as well as a sampler with a little bit of everything.
Overall, the plates were...

All I can say is this place is chocoholic heaven! They have a menu of various hot chocolate's that would remind you of a scotch list or wine list. I know you're thinking "hot chocolate, that's boring". Well, don't be so quick to judge. This hot chocolate is thick and heavenly. It was wonderful. Hot chocolate was appropriate that day. It was in the low 50s. Montreal is a cold place.
Brookie. It's a brownie with a cookie in it. Yes, this place is really good at dessert.
However, I also ordered a crepe because I came in for breakfast, and it takes about a half an hour to get it. I kept wondering what all the empty chairs had ordered, or if the crepe-cooker had to be called in from home when I ordered.
One of my new favorite places!!! I was expecting amazing things from here and I was not disappointed.
My boyfriend and I shared a savory crepe and a sweet one. I forgot the names but the savory was raclette cheese muchrooms ham and the sweet hazelnut icecream white chocolate whipped cream and strawberries. Absolutely amazing! I also got a chocolate drink. This caramel "drink" more like...

Terrible all around. Went for brunch with a group (we were 13, it wasn't crazy) and we all were really disappointed. The buckwheat crepes were really not good. She wasn't friendly at all, and we can even say... plus
Fantastique! The crepes were amazing and desert was worth the calories! This is a small, friendly café where your neighbors may chat with you -- which only adds to the good vibe you get.
Really cute place. The food is exquisite and the whole ambience makes you feel as if you are in chocolate heaven. Be prepared for a bit of wait but it will totally be worth it.
The only reason I'm writing this eight and 10 is because we were well served, Cedric gave us top-notch service, I was really impressed by his great service and kindness. I love stopping at a Juliette & Chocolat when I'm in Montreal! Lots of sweets that you can indulge in, but also plenty of savory foods that you can enjoy. Wonderful selection of diabetes inducing treats. Opted for the mango smoothie but their menu is robust and delicious.
If you have a sweet tooth this is probably a good place to try. They do have many location but the one on St-Denis is probably the busiest. If you ever have a meal downtown just skip desert and go to Juliette et chocolat. The price are worth it and the staff friendly.
The hot chocolates are good and the location is great, but it is most of the time really packet. It took quite a long time for our order to arrive, I would advice against going there to eat if you are in a hurry. The service was great! The lady who served me was smiling from ear to ear and seemed to enjoy her job
If you need to have that chocolate craving handled, this place does it right. We came here on a Saturday night at 11pm at it was packed. Chocolate was amazing but I docked one star just because this isn't the best there is in this area and I feel like while good, it could be so much better n
Chocolate. Enough said.
Seriously. Yelp wants me to write more.
It's chocolate. That's all you need to know. Is CHOCOLATE! IT'S CHOCOLAAAAAAAAATE!
The chocolate cake is very yummy!! Five stars for the food! the service is ok but little bit too slow, minus one star.
Been going for years and it's still good and always so busy and that's a good thing for the employees and owner! As for me I would go again! No regrets!
Great food and service
The Nutella hot chocolate will put you in chocolate coma, very rich , not for the weak hearted :)

I went to this place once with my gf, opened the menu and all of a sudden I didn't want anything anymore. A 18-20$ bill for two hot chocolate isn't my idea of a good time or of value for my money. I don't care how good or bad they are... milk costs like 6 $ for 4 litres you're not going to sell it to me for 10$ /250 ml
I don't understand why people rave about this place . If you are from a city that has good food and desserts (NYC, SF Or Toronto) you are going to be disappointed with this place. Go to any boutique bakery in Montreal and you'll have a great experience. This is just commercial stuff, poor quality.
Juliette & Chocolat is honestly one of the best desserts in town. I have been there over 10 times but I'm always curious to try out new things from their menu. From the salty buckwheat crepes to the sweet ones, I've literally loved everything I've tasted at J&C.
This time my friend and I respectively had a chocolate banana crepe and a salted caramelized banana crepe. Again, delicious!

The fact that this place mainly sells desserts is like heaven on earth for me. We wanted something sweet & looked up the highest rated dessert-sequel shops & luckily found this treasure-trove. While exploring Montreal - My boyfriend and I had a sweet tooth and found this chocolate shop.
We stopped in and the service was great. We shared a peanut brownie, a scoop of ice cream, and 2 coffees. The brownie and the ice cream were delicious! The coffee was so-so, but accompanied the sweets well.

The waffles are unbelievable! I went into a sugar coma right after! A must if you are visiting Montreal!
Let me start off by saying this place was really, really good. The only reason they received 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the service. Our server was fantastic and I don't blame him in the slightest for how long it took but we were there for 2.5 hours for lunch. He did tell us the food would be slow as they were busy but OYE. I have been to this place few times. The service is always great, the waiters are very friendly and dessert is to die for. You gonna love whatever you order
Sorry...Worst ice cream experience I ever had. I ordered a sundae and paid $10.00 for it. I got a small alcohol-type glass full of whip cream and a tiny scoop of melted ice cream at the bottom. Never again! Took 45 minutes for our order to arrive. Obviously this business is taking advantage of its customers. Stay away!
So we were walking through the street in montreal in search of a dessert place:
1) Person 1 to Person 2: I will take Julliete and you take the chocolate

After having their chocolate

Walk in and ask for a hot chocolate, Grandma's Style. Also get a macaroon (we got the maple glaze/nuts macaroon). Walk out EXTREMELY PLEASED AND SATISFIED. Yum.
Excellent both on taste and presentation for the Profiteroles and Café Viennois. Service was good but a bit slow as the restaurant was crowded at the time. Only complaint was the very hot and humid seating area. Would definitely return to try other menu items
I stumbled across Juliette & Chocolat without Yelp-ing it first and I don't regret it at all!
I was starving so I ordered a savoury crepe with grilled pineapples, ham, and mozarella cheese and everything tasted so fresh and appetizing. Great place for dessert for either a large group or for two! Quaint atmosphere, friendly staff, decadent desserts with a slightly high price point. Recommended!
I often regret wasting calories.....but the grilled banana crepe with ice cream and chocolate sauce was spectacular! It was expensive, but it was also huge....could have easily been shared. I unfortunately had to leave quite a bit of it because it was so rich. Service was great and atmosphere was fun.
Came to this location twice before they opened the new Juliette et Chocolat on Prince Arthur. Love their crepes. If you come in the summer, I would recommend trying to get a table out back in the courtyard-ish seating area. It's a bit crowded inside the restaurant.
I have been many times to the one on St Laurent and enjoyed it. Tonight I went to the store on St. Denis. Paid 8$ for 1 scope of melted ice cream and two small pieces of banana-called a " banana split". Had a burnt cafe late, asked to get a new one and it was burnt as well.
