I spent last night at the Inn at the Forks.

The room was $220 (plus taxes). Parking is a block away. You can either park it yourself for $15 (which I did) or have it valet parked for $20. WIFI is included and it's quick. There is no microwave oven or mini fridge in the room but there is a safe tucked in the desk drawer.

Parking was convenient.
Check-in was seamless.
Room was clean and ready, even though we showed up a bit early.
We were in a Luxury Suite, which was the perfect place to spend a night away to relax and disconnect from the world. The LS had a unique floorplan that added to the privacy and disconnectedness that we were hoping to find.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Winnipeg

I loved this hotel! The staff was very friendly and professional as well as accommodating. Hotel is convenient to local/boutique shopping and some of the best restaurants. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was wonderful. My server did a great job and introduced me to new cocktails. Great experience..I will be back!

Excellent hotel in Winnipeg

As usual, very comfortable stay at the Inn at the Forks. MY only complaint was having to pay the top rate as I booked through Expedia.

Great Inn right next to the forks.

The staff were very accommodating even thou Expedia had not sent them our reservation. They got on the phone with Expedia and sorted things out for us, and put us in a larger room at the same cost of the smaller one.

A fantastic location in the heart of The Forks. Easy walking distance to so many things to do that have either expensive or little parking. There is confusion has to where the exercise room is and they do not have a pool. They said they have an agreement with a swimming pool about a 5 minute drive from their location, doesn't help when you do not have a vehicle.

The location of this place is so perfect. The skating trail that surrounds this hotel alone is worth 5 stars for me. Additionally, the market is a 1 minute walk from the hotel, which makes this place a perfect location for travel to Winnipeg. This is a great hotel. The restaurant is good and worth going to, especially for the patio in the summer time. The rooms are comfortable and their soaps/shampoos are nice. It is in a good location, right in the Forks area and close to the portage bridge. This is my top pick when staying in Winnipeg. Best value by far.

Green is good, but

I really appreciate a hotel with a good environmental policy and the Inn does do this. They have a recycler in the room with a detailed description of the different initiatives. We stayed in the Riverstone Suite this weekend. From the living space as you enter, to the jacuzzi tub for two, to the rain shower, to the amazingly comfortable King size bed...UTTER RELAXATION! The lounge was amazing with live jazz and breakfast the next day was to day for. I would recommend to anyone looking for an amazing night out.

This is one of my favorite hotels. I love the location, the in-hotel restaurant, the staff, the in-room spa products and the earthy decor. I feel so relaxed once I enter it's doors. Once I was accompanying my husband there for a business trip. It was winter and cold out so they shuttled me to Polo Park mall so I didn't have to go by myself on the bus while my husband was at work!

I expected a lot when I booked a room at Inn at the Forks. To be honest, Canadian hotels usually deliver on the quality and value front.

“While staying at the Forks, my car was broken into and vandalized. Staff valet parked the vehicle and failed to lock the doors with several thousand dollars of valuables inside. No security cameras were near the vehicle and since the doors were left unlocked the attempted thieves had no need to force entry. The ignition was punched out and the stereo was detached but not stolen.”

Thanks for putting up with a bunch of girl skaters! The rooms were so comfortable and top notch. The staff were friendly. One of us dropped a glass bottle of beer, and the staff didn't even throw one mean glare. Also, for those who love to shred it is like a min walk away from the skate plaza!
