I was terribly disappointed when I was told that I had to pay $11.00 for a night of parking. also: the parking space that was available for me to use was very tight and I had to do several maneuvering to get into it. This was the very first time that I had to pay for parking to an hotel were I was a guest, and I travel a lot. I will never book again this specific hotel.

Overall it was better as expected

I was concerned when I read the previous reviews. However, our experiences were okay and better as expected. The room was large enough for 3 adults and 1 kid. Everything was clean. It is not a new hotel which we knew upfront. WiFi did only work in the lobby but that was not a big deal.

Pretty decent. Average room. Good sleep. Great location. Only real complaint is there is not enough parking. We had to squeeze into a very tight spot in the adjoining lot.

Long weekend getaway

It was a good pick for the long weekend stay. The rooms were comfortable although the walls were thin as we could hear our neighbors conversation word for word. Conveniently located, we could walk every where. The prepaid breakfast was ok. We chose to upgrade to the buffet for a few more options. Overall it was alright. We would probably stay again.

Very disappointing!

Room was clean and location was excellent, however there was a very strong smell of vomit from the room, we were only staying for 1 night and only in the room to sleep so it was bearable. I would definitely not stay at this hotel again.

Interesting stay

In the room, above one of the beds, there was a big spider web. The beds were supposed to be queen, size seemed closer to a double bed. The door to the bathroom would not shut properly, so there wasn't ample privacy. The springs were bulging up in the pull-out sofa.

Pleasant hotel, great location

At this medium price range, the Imperial is an excellent choice. It is close to all major attractions and the hotel staff is knowledgeable about the Niagara area. we booked a room for two, a non-smoking one, and we got a smoking one - saying that using a third part company as such as EXPEDIA does not grantee that you get what you booked. Say What?! The hotel itself is located close to major attractions and the breakfast was good, but yet it felt very uncomfortable and stinky and very dirty. Would never recommend you to go there!

Pet friendly hotel close to Clifton Hill

The hotel is located just off Clifton Hill, in the heart of the tourist area, which made for fast and easy access to the "sights". The staff is fantastic - very friendly and helpful! Not many hotels in Niagara Falls are pet friendly, especially without paying a tremendous fee, so we appreciated the Imperial allowing pets at a reasonable price.

Had a great stay, the staff were friendly and efficient, clean room and wonderful view.I would recommend this hotel for families that want a hotel close to Clifton hill, walking is no more than 5-10 minutes, plenty of restaurant choices. Good what you pay

It is a good place what you pay, its location is decent. I didn't check its swimming pool. I got $5 breakfast(buffet style restaurant at 1st floor) but it wasn't worth it: I couldn't even eat the egg. If you want to stay decent place for just couple days it can be your choice but keep your expectations minimum.

The hotel sink when you first walk in, my room smell of smoke and a deodorant had mole all over it. perfect for our needs

great value for the money,great location [walking distance to everywhere] room was very clean and big , our expectations were exceeded, the girls that run the restaurant were very friendly as were the front desk staff, will definitely stay again loved it. highly reccommend it

We loved the Imperial Hotel

This hotel is excellent value for your money, we found the room very spacious with fridge and microwave. The staff was very nice and helpfull. The pool was in the basement and not too exciting, but the kids loved it! The location is great too, walkable to the falls and clifton hill.

The hotel offers free breakfast according to their website and the skoosh printout said free breakfast. They said they don't do free breakfast and refused to do it until I showed them the printout showing breakfast was included.
