The hotel room was lovely with a spacious bathroom. Location was close enough to the Old City to be convenient. Very disappointed with the parking situation. Very comfortable stay here in nice room with view of street. The restaurant downstairs had excellent quality food and very good wine choices. Parking across the road in a secure garage was convenient. Also convenient to public transport.

Great Value-Large Rooms

For the same price as the chain hotel/motel, Hotel Royal William offers clean spacious rooms.
Great down-town location however I did have to pay extra to park in the garage across the street.
Nice little Continental breakfast included and for an extra $5.00 you can upgrade to a full breakfast.

Few days in Quebec with wife

The room was quaint and clean with friendly staff. Breakfast at the Hotel restaurant is delicious served with home made bread at reasonable price. We had a nice, quite and comfortable stay and it is only a few minutes walk from historical sites, Parliament House, the Old Quebec, St Lawrence river, the military fortress. A great place to stay for the price.

Courteous service from check in all the way to check out. Clean and big rooms with comfortable beds. We had double queen beds with plenty of space still in the room. Wide selection of channels on the TV.

Best place to stay in "La Basse Ville" (Quebec City

The Royal William was a wonderful find. We decided at the last moment to visit La Cite and looked at many hotels online. “The hotel is lovely with very clean rooms. The beds are a little to firm for my liking. We had a lovely breakfast on Saturday morning with one server working great on her own. However, on Sunday there were two servers and a helper and we never received our juice that was ordered, no refill on our coffee and no one came to check how our meal was. That was the downside for us.”
