Great place to kick back with your laptop and work on afternoons or weeknights. Affordable drinks and not a sleazy crowd, also has coffee and snacks hat aren't too expensive too. Simple and welcoming, reasonable price. The room was basic, but clean, with a very comfortable bed. Soundproofing is insufficient, so try to get a room on the third floor, as far back as possible. And get there while it is still new: the finishings look like they will need a lot of upkeep to stay in good shape.

It's my 3rd stay there, I really like the style, location, and overall vibe. Was upgraded to a beautiful room with a fabulous bathtub. Going After Funk but Landing on a Little Dumpy

Nice try, but the hotel is understaffed and in some ways under-welling. The "front desk" is a small table parked under a flight of stairs and immediately across from the single elevator. It felt like a scene from Harry Potter. There is no place to store bags. The cleaning person doubles as the front desk clerk, so it is one or the other for her.

I was given three rooms, one after another, and in each room, all of the beds were WET! I came here with a group for Easter brunch. I ordered the Ocho breakfast. The scrambled eggs were dry, cold and burnt; the bacon was burnt; the sausage was undercooked. The only redeeming part of this breakfast was the fruit which thankfully was fresh.

This is a 4.5. I love the vibe here and am thankful it's not been overexposed. That is, that you can hang out here on any given night and not be elbowed. It feels like a cool converted industrial space (which I am sure it is) turned boutique hotel with dining and a bar.
