This hotel has no class, despite its 4-star rating. I booked through expedia (another lesson I have learned is not to book online). There was a mistake in the date, perhaps a click in the wrong box, but who knows. The minute I saw the mistake, I called and they are charging me as a no-show. They did not offer any help or human understanding, just complained that they have to pay expedia fees... plus
Great spot for my family to stay during Christmas holidays. Rooms were up to date, quiet and well appointed. Upscale breakfast buffet available if you wanted or you could walk next door to Tim Hortons for a coffee and a bagel or downstairs to another cafe. Staff was helpful and courteous. Did not use pool or spa but it looked first rate. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Would have... plus
The hotel is in the middle of everything. The staff was friendly, the rooms were updated, clean and comfortable. The pastry shop in the hotel was wonderful. Parking is available and easy. The hotel has a small gym and pool in the basement. There is no bar but there is a nice amount of seating in the lobby. This is a wonderful option in the touristy area. It's not right in the center but really... plus
Air conditioner that clanks on and off with a variety of noises that woke me up frequently. Complaint at the desk met wit a shrug since they apparently all work that way. While I tip at least 20 percent at restaurants, I did not leave a tip at the $19 breakfast buffet as is usually my custom since they don't take your order or bring your food. After I signed the bill the manager looked at it... plus
Charming hotel in a central location. Within walking distance to all attractions. Staff is a mixed bag. Some were very courteous and attentive. Some were snooty and didn't even open the door for us when we entered the hotel. There was tremendous noise outside. Unable to sleep every night or early in the morning.
I had a group in house for 3 days and the staff was so very accommodating. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. Great location
Traveled with husband and two teen girls and was so happy to have chosen this hotel. The valet parking is wonderfully organized, efficient and the gentlemen are friendly and helpful. A nice welcome from the front desk is what we got after we introduced ourselves! We wanted to be right at walking distance within Old Quebec's hub and Manoir Victoria was the perfect fit.

Great location for shopping and restaurants and the Hotel is well decorated. The fro t desj personell are excellelent. Ask if your room has a view, ours (110) has a view of a roof top and other rooms on the other side, not exactly ideal. Would stay again.
Beautiful hotel in a great location. Spacious and modern rooms that seem very new. The location is great as well, with plenty of wonderful restaurants and shops. Hopefully we will be back soon!
My mother and I stayed here on our second time in Quebec and this is probably one of the best botique hotels I've ever been! Location is the best, walking distance to all the spots in Old Quebec! My wife and I stayed at the Manoir Victoria in late June of 2017. From the moment we got there, we were treated like family. I pulled up to the front door not knowing where to park. Lovely corner room with a nice spa like bathroom. Quiet hotel with an amazing Resturant-Chez Boulay. Pool is nice, the morning breakfast is well stocked and full of variety. Excellent concierge who helped us as well. Close to everything but not in it! We loved our two week stay!
Great hotel in a super location. Room was impeccable. Everything you could want, modern and very welcoming. We stayed on 6th floor, our friends the 3rd floor. We stayed in a clean, tiny room. We asked for a room with two beds and they gave us a room with one queen. That's basically all there was room for in the space. The breakfast is horrible at this place. They admitted they freeze their food like muffins for several days. Service is impolite and not well trained.

We stayed here in October 2015 and really enjoyed our stay. We had a new updated room, but not all of the rooms have been updated, so make sure you request one. love this hotel. close to train station , in the heart of old Quebec City, and also very importantly just renovated!
We stayed here the weekend before Christmas. On arrival our room was ready, we were checked in within 3-4 minutes.

Ok, so the room was very small but well kept and the bathroom was clean. The oddest thing I've ever seen ... We had 2 windows facing an enclosed wall. We got no natural light .. Couldn't tell if it was raining or sunny . Why have windows if you can't even see sun light ? To be fair the staff was very friendly and the location was good.
Fantastic hotel but the front desk staff need to be better trained on the 10-5 rule. This is a common hospitality rule that should be exercised at a hotel of this class. Altogether it was a beautiful room, exceptionally clean, and had everything you could wish for including a nespresso! Great location, extremely friendly staff, clean room, comfortable beds, Nespresso machine in the room, whirlpool tub in the room, clean and well maintained pool with lifeguard, clean sauna and locker rooms. So you probably don't want to be a porter at this hotel due to lots of stairs, but you will want to stay here. Big rooms, modern design, comfortable beds and very friendly staff. Excellent location right in old town. Walkable to restaurants, and shops in old town. Great place to stay!! #freewifi
This hotel is a perfect depiction of what Quebec City is. It has an old charm with subtle modern touches that gives a feeling of luxurious comfort. The grand entrance consisting of the dramatically laid out staircase sets the tone very well.

Staying here now. This hotel is very nice. Rooms are kinda small. Wifi is terrible. We ordered room service the first night which was pretty good. It's location is great. Easy to walk to great places. Make reservations though everywhere you go. The rooms are comfy, clean and no different from a 3 star hyatt regency or something like that. The location really gives it a lot.
Wanted to stay in the Old City, and per my daughter, our hotels must always have a pool, so this fit the bill! Had a very large, modern room, the staff was very helpful, and we walked everywhere! Valet parking was convenient and efficient. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.
We chose this hotel and were so happy with everything about it. The location was great - very quiet, but walk just a little way to all the restaurants and attractions. Service was very good. We booked a superior room with 2 queens or 1 king and when we arrived we were given a double bed. Not very comfortable for 2 adults.

Im never critical or fussy about things. But for $200 a night I thing everyone deserve better, atleast the room what we got with one double bed. We both are 6ft plus and were not able to fit in the bed. The room literally ended before it started , it was that small.Wife got bitten by a bed bug, it was a clean room and nice clean hotel but the room was not worth it.
From the minute we walked into the hotel the staff was top notch. They were very friendly and helpful the entire trip. Bernard was fantastic!!!!! He was funny and always willing to help!I've read about others who were disappointed about having to climb steps to enter the lobby, while there were a number of steps, for us it was not an issue, doorman quickly took our luggage for us and had it... plus
This hotel is in the perfect location for those wanting to explore Old Quebec City. Right in the heart of the shopping/entertainment area and walking distance to all the iconic historical sites.
Really enjoyed our stay over the Christmas holidays. Located in the old town, the hotel was close to all the places we wanted to go. The room was more than adequate, tastefully decorated and clean with a large bathroom. Even over the holidays, housekeeping services were unobtrusive and complete. All staff were friendly and very helpful. My wife enjoyed the pool. Valet parking was reasonably... plus
Very friendly staff close to old city and good cafe. Due to flight cancellations fron hurricane, I had to stay an extra day. They found a room for me and made my adventure nice.
I was disappointed to find 22 stairs to get up to the lobby. I have very bad knees and do not navigate stairs well. To my surprise, 2 hotel employees came down and carried our 5 suitcases up the stairs. Three of the suitcases weighed close to 50 lbs. We were guided to our room, and the staff handled all our suitcases. Our first room did not have the view my wife liked, so we were quickly moved... plus
Many other guests paid less then we did. If it had not been for the staff our visit would have been a desaster.
Great location except the street in front could be kept cleaner. Front desk staff very accomodating. We had a great quiet room.
Our first time in Quebec. A great getaway with everything we would expect from a great hotel. Inside the walls and about half way up, so the walk anywhere was great. We went all over old Quebec City, both inside and outside the walls and never once had to get a cab. No complaints. It was an added plus we were next door to a car rental, allowing us to opt to tour the countryside one day. If I... plus
A truly great team to help make your stay a great experience. Also one of the best locations with easy access to much of old Quebec City plus easy access to the "new downtown".
This is a really nice hotel! The location is awesome - right next to Old Quebec. Old Quebec is a beautiful old town with many historical sights. The staff at the hotel really took good care of us - I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great hotel at a great location.
Old outdated hotel. Friendly staff, great location but the rooms need updating. A bit of a smell as well. Would not return.
We noticed this hotel on our visit last year and decided to try it this time around. Not only is this hotel tasteful, clean, and nicely decorated, it had everything that we could have needed for our three-day stay (including a spa, heated pool and an ipod/iphone doc), AND it is in a perfect location for walking to restaurants, shopping, etc. The staff is polite, cheerful, helpful, and eager to... plus

We purchased a package through Orbitz for a vacation trip to Quebec City, Quebec to attend the Festival d'Ete Quebec, an annual music festival. Great location. Within a brief walk of all the major attractions and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff for non-French-speaking guests such as we were.
The Manoir Victoria was nice, there are no specific complaints I have, but it was a bit pricey for what you get. I understand the math (location x demand = price) but when compared to other hotels we've stayed in, particularly Nelligan in Old Montreal (almost half the price) it's a 3 star experience at best. The staff was great, we had an issue with our key that was resolved courteously and... plus
Chose this hotel by reading others' review. Not cheap for a budget traveler. However, staff were friendly. Parking is $20+tax per day with free entry. The room is spacious, beds are comfortable, bathroom is not high-end but clean. Steps to the Notre-Dame, shops and restaurants.
After we climbed the steep flight of stairs to the lobby, everything was pretty wonderful. This was a return trip for our family to Quebec City and we prefer a smaller, well located hotel, which Manoir Victora is, as it is footsteps to area attractions, restaurants, stores, etc. Our room was a good size for three of us (2 dbl beds) and the bathroom was very nice, with double sinks, a shower and jacuzzi. Room was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Central location was a huge bonus.
Hotel was very nice and service is excellent. Perfect location close to the center of the old city
Esxcellent location! The staff is excellent and helpful. The only drawback is breakfast - a la carte is on the expensive side and the Continental/American breakfast is mediocre.
Great hotel, the hotel and room were very nice, and the service was excellent. The location was perfect as well, only a few minutes walk from the center of the old city, and right in the middle of a bunch of good restaurants.
Our first trip to the Old City in Quebec. Like a foreign country within driving distance of New England. The French language, french cooking, and french ambiance made it all very romantic and pleasant. The prices for everything were very affordable. Can't wait to go again.
Located in the heart of Ville-Quebec, Le Manior Victoria is upscale with friendly service. The beds are awesome cozy and the rooms are well appointed. After traveling across Canada and staying in all varieties of hotel, the huge and beautiful room I had at the Manoir Victoria was a welcome sight. The location is excellent for both exploring the old city as well as being convenient for accessing the newer areas like the hip Nuovo St. Roch neighborhood. The Hotel Manior Victoria is in the middle of Quebec's Old Historic town. You can litterally walk around the town and see shops, historic buildings, statues, floral landscapes, and cobbled streets. It's like being in Europe(especially since they mostly speak French). However, you don't need to know how to speak french to get around. Most Quebecois are bi-lingual and can speak English as well.... plus
The view from our room wasn't great, but the hotel was in the heart of Old Quebec City within walking distance of everything. Service was spectacular, the valets were AMAZING, and I will seek out this hotel again next time I travel to Quebec City.

Great location and excellent accommodations. I am fussy and I was very pleased overall. Would defintely stay there again.
Everything was exceptional. Location in the heart of the historic/tourist area.
When we checked into the hotel, we were greeted by [...] who was exceptional! Very convenient location. Boutique style hotel, excellent dining room. Within walking distance of everything in Old Town. Friendly, helpful staff. Has 90% of what a big hotel offers at half the price. I'd go back in a minute.

My wife and I and our teenage daughter have stayed at the Manoir Victoria three times: August 2006, February 2008 & February 2009. Obviously we like it.

Reserved room was nothing like what was advertised. Was told I had to pay more at check-in. Front desk manager was not customer friendly. Otherwise, it is a nice hotel if you do not mind climbing a story to get to the lobby. I would not return as I think there are other hotels that are just as nice.
Although somewhat pricey, this hotel was absolutely beautiful. The staff were both knowledgeable and helpful. The location absolutely could not be beat for exploring Vieux Quebec.
The Manoir is in a great location - central to everything in the old city. The rooms very roomy, clean and well maintained. One of the strongest features is the staff who were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying there and certainly would do so again when in Quebec.
Our stay was during Winter Carnival when the hotel was at capacity, but the staff remainded calm, friendly and courteous. The room was as requested with 2 queen beds, looked recently updated, clean and more 'plush' than expected. Didn't have much of a view from the 1st floor, but that wasn't all that important to us. Great pool in the basement for the kids - locker rooms were clean and... plus

“The helpfulness of the staff was outstanding. We used the spa services and the experience was excellent. The bistro restaurant had solid but slightly heavy food. Breakfast in the morning was of excellent quality.”
Yes I would reccommend this hotel. It isn't super fancy, but it is well located and they are friendly at the front desk.
